The pizza here was some more of the best I've ever had. Perfectly thin crust with the perfect sauce to cheese to crust ratio. When my husband asked if it could be deboned, the waiter lost it, to say the least. He started yelling at me that he doesn't have time for this, that they were too busy. Then he said something really odd, that I was so sad, in a mocking way- strange as I was certainly not sad just requesting to debone my fish. We were seated in a pretty location but the smell of sewage was apparent. The manager of the restaurant was apologetic and refunded my meal without me even having to explain the situation- he knew. I hope they are able to address the situation. My son said the pizza was good. Let's leave it on a positive note!

My husband and I ordered the following and shared all 3 dishes - caprese salad, salad with prosciutto and Parmesan, and green risotto. All I can really say about all 3 is..not terrible but definitely not amazing. Flavors were bland compared to other similar dishes we had at other Venetian restaurants. The mozzarella cheese was cold and firm...not the delicious creamy burrata I was expecting. Wine was good....we got a Sangiovese blend on the cheaper end and it was great. See pic for label. The view was fantastic - the best we've seen in Venice so far when it comes to sunset dinner views. Attached a picture. The view made it all worth it.

There is a cheap take away next door over pouring into the streets so we went inside. I didn't feel like it had ambiance of a romantic place. It was more of a nieghborhood restaurant comparable to an Applebee's. We got house wine from tap and from bottle. Tried the red beer of Venice. My husband likes his beer. I thought both beer and wine was "oke" but nothing to have again. We enjoyed the tortellini the most! The spinach and mozzarella stuff ravioli in a salmon cream sauce was delightful and should be tried. Presentation was on point. The pizza was ok. I didn't care for the crust after trying so many in Venice. The menu said spicy and I was expecting the heat but it never came, just grease. Bread for table was without taste. The salad was fresh! It was very sweet the serve offered us lemonchello and I will say it was the best we have had so far in vience. We would go back for that to go. In all it costs us 50 Euro for the date.

We also had a basil tomato and ricotta cheese pizza, it was just as tasty. Wish we had tried two pizzas but I could only eat half of mine anyways! Everyone around us only had pizzas so they are definitely a hit! My boyfriend had the mushroom fettuccine...the best noodles I have ever had. Melt in your mouth, so soft, definitely homemade!! We shared a bottle of red wine with dinner, also we ordered water and the bill was below 37 euros!!! What a deal and for such amazing food. Our only regret is that we spent a majority of our time in the heart of Venice, spending way too much money for half the food and half the quality. Upon arrival, the woman was on the phone with someone making a reservation in April! Which was a pretty assuring sign that it's going to be a good night :) We were seated promptly and given menus. There were so many good options, but we decided to go with the beef tarare, ragu Bolognese and the duck. And a bottle of wine for good luck! Overall, the food was incredible.
