They do not care one bit. They'll lightly instruct you on what to do, tell you how many reps, then just walk away. What if I'm doing something wrong and my injury worsens? I told them I was no longer coming in to avoid charges, plus I didn't need it anymore but they made me think I did. The woman who told me she was "so happy for me!!!" That I'd healed and no longer needed their services, said it was all taken care of, then the next week I get a creepy call from one of the physical therapists asking where I was. My 12 year old son is a soccer player and has been struggling lately with pain in his heels and tightness in his legs, impacting his ability to run normally. The staff at OSR we're all incredibly friendly. They talked to him about his pain and how he's been impacted. They made him feel so comfortable and heard. Chris, the director, was so awesome with him. He explained everything in a way that my son could understand and not be terrified by. Our pediatrician had told us the issues with his feet were "no big deal" "super common for active kids his age" and "he'd grow out it". Chris was honest with my son about what was happening with not just his feet, but his whole lower body. He told him the work it would take in the PT office and at home to really start feeling better. During our first visit we did a lot of stretching, heat therapy and some cupping to loosen up the Achilles' tendon, calves and hamstrings. He felt pretty sore afterwards but Chris has set that expectation with him. He was actually pretty optimistic leaving the office, which has been a rarity the last few months since he's been in such pain and trying to play through it. We can't wait to go back next week and getting our little guy back to his speedy confident self again. read more

I've been working with Sean and Alex on my bilateral tennis elbow. Both therapists are very knowledgeable and have demonstrated professionalism throughout treatment. I also worked with Jim from the Anthem location once. He's really good, too. Alex and Sean both do dry needling with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. It's helpful! The entire team here is great! They all work well together and create a fun and comfortable environment. I enjoy going here. I feel stronger and I'm progressing well with their help. I recommend checking this place out. I have been to other therapists/clinics in the valley for previous injuries. I feel that OSR on carefree highway has been my best experience. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery which was repaired by Dr. Amon Ferry, Orthopedic Surgeon. My success rate has been beyond words!! I'm 12 weeks out and I am so grateful for Dr. Ferry and his staff and for their recommendation for my PT to begin with OSR Physical Therapy. I've been seeing the physical therapist at OSR three times a week and now I'm three months out and I just saw the doctor for the last time!! The PTs are professional, competent in their craft backer by years of experience, which shows with a vested interest in your healing while providing that personal touch. I am a frequent patient at OSR Carefree and have always felt that the staff take a personal interest in my progress. In May 2013, I was diagnosed with a tear in my abductor muscle and I was told by my Physician to layoff intensive cardio like running or other aerobic exercises that use the abductor muscle. He also advised me to see a PT so that I could recover faster. Kyle Bergeson is the resident PT at North Phoenix's OSR Physical Therapy location and he is an exceptional doctor. Kyle is very through in his work and is very attentive and receptive to the patient's needs. He is always willing to adjust and modify the exercise routine as per the patient's feedback and is very optimistic about his patient's recovery. He is also supported by a friendly and a supportive staff who are constantly working with the patient and keeping him/her motivated. Friendly environment, but I went many times and they seemed unable to help me. I eventually went elsewhere and found relief.

I came to OSR with a back injury. The PT evaluated me in about 20 minutes and turned me over to his assistant. The second appointment, I informed the assistant that I had been to the dr and he said it was most likely a spine/disc problem. She told the PT but he did not change my exercises and he left the facility shortly after I got there. On the third visit nothing changed and as far as I know there was no PT. 4 assistants worked with me that day. Very impersonal when it comes to ones health. (They were all very nice). I switched to a PT that was just down the street from OSR and have been very happy. Having never been to physical therapy, I did not know what to expect, now I know. I would not recommend OSR. I would think they would have asked me why I was not returning so they could improve their patient relations. read more
