Okay, I'm admittedly biased since I'm one of the PTs here. But I absolutely love the clinic, my coworkers, the company, and the patients. It's always a fun environment and all of the PTs, myself included, try to give patients the best care possible. The reasons that l chose to work here are the same reasons I believe it is the best PT clinic in the area: We are more concerned with quality of care instead of quantity. At the end of the day, it does not matter how many patients were seen or what revenue was brought in. What truly matters to the staff and the company is that the patients are getting better and are happy with the care they receive. Tip: OSR offers Free Pain Assessments for new patients. It's a one time no-commitment appointment where a PT does a brief evaluation of your injury, performs a short treatment session, explains the injury and treatment options, and makes recommendations. This could be that the injury isn't serious and just needs an exercise program (which would be developed and given to you), that it could benefit from a few or more PT sessions, or that it warrants further evaluation and imaging by a physician (in which case, you'd be given referral options). So if you have an injury that's bothering you, and you're not sure if it's something that will work out on it's own or need treatment, just come in and find out! Tip #2: Just in case you aren't aware, AZ is a direct access state. That means you can come see a physical therapist without a referral :) read more

My doctor referred me to OSR on Bell Road because of a rotator cuff injury. This has been my first experience with physical therapy but I was unable to use my arm and shoulder very well, so I decided to give it a try. It's 4 weeks later and my shoulder is dramatically better than it was. I have very little pain now and my flexibility has improved a lot. Bottom line - I am extremely pleased with the results. Beyond that, it's important to note how wonderful the staff is. Kyle is very knowledgeable and effective. Nola at the front desk is very warm and welcoming every time I come in. Erica is also very good at her job, and she's the sweetest person - always in a good mood, smiling (under her mask) and fun to chat with. They also take COVID seriously, with mandated masks and cleaning after each patient, which I appreciate. You go to a physical therapist to address an injury but at OSR Scottsdale, you get that and a great group of people who clearly love what they do and care about their patients. Kyle Bergeson, PT, DPT - Clinic Director, is the best physical therapist I've seen for various chronic issues over the years. Kyle is very efficient, skilled, knowledgeable and able to pinpoint and diagnose issues quickly to give you best customized treatment plan that works for you to have you feeling better soon, too. You won't find a better physical therapist who is excellent with dry needling, as well. Kyle also has a very pleasant, friendly personality. This facility is always very clean and roomy, getting appointments are quick and easy, as well. The staff are also very efficient, nice, helpful and friendly, too. I absolutely LOVE OSR PT. Within the first 3 visits I saw real results! The care & compassion I've recieved from the AMAZING Shauna, Josh & Stefan has been beyond outstanding!!! I'm so happy I changed PT places. The personal 1 on 1 with an all hands on deck type of care, has been really great for me!!! I'm there 1hour to 1.5 hours 3xweek and really appreciate actually doing therapy the entire time. I highly recommend OSR PT, if you're interested in getting better! I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank (yet again) the Team at OSR Scottsdale. I had a pretty remarkable bicycle injury 2 years ago, which resulted in a Stage 5 AC shoulder separation. My surgery was pretty quick, as you don't recall a thing, and my fabulous Dr Ferry, said "you will be swimming in 90 days!" At that moment, I was unable to brush my teeth, and barely dress, put on shoes or work...it was also suggested that it may "never" be as strong as it was before the injury...a triathlete at heart, meaning...pick yourself up, dust yourself off etc, but it was difficult, painful and daunting. But that's when OSR comes into play. I just felt relieved after reaching out to my longtime friends there. Aaron Williams assured me, that they would assist me immediately, and they got me on the path to recovery as promised, within a day or so. They also said they would take me as often as I needed to come in...which in the beginning is a lot, as a daily dose was very helpful. Walking in there, is just so nice. It's a calm, relaxed, family-style environment, where you can truly tell, that their interest in getting you well, is genuine and authentic. I pushed hard with rehab, and almost like magic, just as my Dr had predicted...I could swim and turn my shoulder at 90 days. I was shocked. I took it slow, as probably 1500 yards a week was what I used to do. Within a very short time, ie a month I worked up to nearly 5000 yards per week, and finished last Summer at approx 50 miles. Incidentally, I am a ocean swimmer and have been racing for about 10 years...and 50 miles in a pool, was more swimming then I had done at any one stretch ever in my life. The Dr needs to know, OSR needs to know, and all of the people that are about to walk into OSR need to know that, you will and can, come out of this, and they/OSR are with you every step of the way. I'm in love with the staff... seriously! I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and when I first started seeing them they knew what it was but took it a step further and actually did MORE research before my second visit so not to aggravate any issues. Most therapists I've seen are like "oh yeah I know what that is" and make my symptoms worse, not these guys. 100% legit and not only know what they are doing but they show they know what they're doing. I've had cupping and dry needle therapy from them as well, AMAZINGLY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF! They put you at ease and make you feel like you've known them forever. They will always be where I go for my post-op care. read more

Let me start by saying that every OSR is different. I started at OSR years ago after a hip replacement and went to the Carefree location. I didn't love it because it was so busy and it was in the Mountainside Fitness gym. Every time I went I got a different PT. It was a love hate thing. I worked out and it was convenient. I recently had a shoulder surgery and went to the Ice Den location and have been under Shaun Palmer's care. I will never go to another facility. Shaun and his entire staff are committed to my recovery. They are the best group to work with and Shaun is very knowledgeable and I trust him 100%. I went for a few PT visits recently. I stopped treatment early because I found the staff to be unprofessional and did see no benefit. After I have stopped treatment, I received a bill from OSR for double the amount that I was told at the time of my first visit. OSR was unpleasant to deal with and the conversation did not end on a good note. It was a waste of my money and time. Needless to say that I will not return to OSR and will not recommend OSR to family and friends. read more

If you need PT, you will want to visit OSR. Great, clean clinic and not huge. The therapists and assistants are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They don't jam up their patient clientele so appointments are fairly easy to obtain and schedules are on time (never wait). Clientele vary in age (not all young or all old), which is nice. I have a difficult treatment issue and they are working with me toward the best result. There's an obvious culture of caring, and that really helps. read more

The staff is super nice and want to help, but it was a waste of time and money. My daughter who had a sports injury went for 3 PT visits in March 2017. I believe she was diagnosed with a tight iliopsoas causing her to limp after running. She was microneedled once with no benefit and was given exercises to tighten her buttock muscles the following 2 visits. We stopped treatment early because we saw no benefit. She fully recovered after the season was over and she stopped running. She just needed to rest. Glad other reviewers got better. read more

I started working with OSR physical Therapy because my Dr recommend the company to me. I have been going for 3 weeks so far and I am very happy with my results. I was having really bad shin splints and from the first time I checked in I have not had one shin splint. I've been in physical therapy before and this has been the most successful I've had working with a great physical therapist that keeps her eye on me and makes sure I'm doing everything correctly. I would recommend this facility to anyone that wants to make great progress with any pain they are dealing with. I was assessed and we keep track of my progress. I doubt you'll find a better PT than Shaun. The guy knows his stuff. He helped me and my doctor figure out what my back issues were. I saw them several times before I was given a recommendation to go to SpineScottsdale. BIG MISTAKE! I should never have stopped going to Shaun at OSR. (Read my review of SpineScottsdale, then steer clear of SpineScottsdale). Shaun and his very friendly staff worked on my back with a clear goal of helping me, not just collecting payment. OSR is great from the moment you walk in the front door and are always greeted with a smile. Nick is a great therapist who really knows his stuff. After only one session, I began the recovery process of healing two herniated discs and continue to feel better each day. In addition, Shae is great and also very competent. I went in to see Megan for help with some discomfort on my lower back. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and everyone was friendly. Megan was great from her asking questions of what my daily exercise routine to pinpointing exactly where the pain was coming from. It was all uphill from there. From the first visit, I could feel my posture was better and was waking up feeling a lot better where the discomfort was on my back. I was recommended to Shaun by a friend of mine. I had a tear in one of my hip flexors that seemed to not be getting better. Shaun recommended I do a few things at home, see how it feels, and go from there it needed. My hip is feeling better, I've eased back into some of my workouts without issues, and can finally get in my car without any pain. Friendly and honest staff. I was hesitant at first thinking they'd do the free consultation and just want my money, but was not the case at all. Definitely recommend this place and Shaun.
