I am a 62 year old male who has lead - and continues to lead - a very active life. As a result of a lifetime of physical activity I have suffered numerous injuries and have had many old one's catch up to me. Over the years I have endured multiple operations and subsequent sessions with various physical therapist and until I finally met Vincent Peries at Synergy I had all but given up hope of ever finding any PT that could truly help me in an active recovery that would lead me back to full physical ability and vigor. My most recent injuries have been of a nature that would likely halt many individuals from ever taking to the wilds of the world again but Vincent is fully aware of my desire to return as quickly as possible to my life and as I am more than willing to put in the time and effort he more than merits my complete trust in his abilities to provide lasting relief. I was 58 and completely out of shape when I received an email from Synergy Physical Therapy regarding their program Synergy Strong. I had done my PT there seven years prior for a broken shoulder. I was familiar and confident with their wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Synergy Strong is performance coaching open to everyone regardless of their current level of fitness. Upon meeting Torrey Hudspeth, the performance coach, I knew I had come to the right place. I had done personal training on and off in the past and dreaded each appointment. Nothing comes close to this coach and program. To begin with, Torrey has the ability to determine a person's level of fitness and overall health. He creates an individual program for each client which includes guided stretching, cardio and strength training. It is not a weight loss program, but I did lose a lot of weight. I have never met a more patient, supportive, understanding, knowledgeable, and determined coach. Torrey wants his clients to succeed and with him, you will. You will also have a lot of fun. Synergy Physical Therapy offered me the best in educated, professional and really focused staff who cared about me and my individual specific needs. I had a total right knee replacement and Vincent, the head of this group did a detailed evaluation of my capabilities as I had some struggles due to my pain and restricted knee movement. It hurts! Those team members working with me week after week always gave detailed explanations of what I could expect and my responsibilities regarding doing follow-up therapy at home. Vincent seems to have eyes in the back of his head and noticed when I could push harder and he challenged me. I was in a world of hurt from a fall I had. After going to a pain doctor and taking some shots in my spine that did not work for me, I was told I should go to have therapy. I had been to Synergy Physical in 2013 for a damaged shoulder and I had miraculous results. The therapists use "hands on" techniques and teach a patient how to build strength to offset pain that eventually was eliminated. I knew that Synergy was where I wanted to go for my pain that extended from my hip to my ankle. I have now completed my therapy and "graduated." There is no question that I worked hard to overcome my problems, but they stuck with me through it all. The staff is great! They recommended that I sign up at my own expense to attend a 6 week personal trainer in their office. I have been going two days a week and I am learning to incorporate the bottom half training with new exercises to the top half to complete my strength building. As a retired director of Quality Assurance for a large service organization, I feel qualified to recognize outstanding quality, and Synergy manifests every dimension of it. In the context of physical therapy, quality equates to results, and the results I've experienced with Synergy were beyond my expectations. After an initial evaluation they customized their treatment, becoming progressively more aggressive. I have not had a recurrence of the condition for which I was treated. I've been to several different pt facilities, and while beneficial, there was never total success as I have had with Synergy. Each member of the core cadre is profoundly knowledgeable, professional, and relentless in their pursuit of success. Another injury, another reason to return to Synergy. This time my right lower back was having some pain. Wasn't sure what was going on since it didn't go away for a few months. I decided to call Synergy for an appointment. After meeting with Vincent, for my initial review, I was asked if I wanted to start a session right now. That was great! Vincent said my posture needed to improve, thus exercises for posture and strength training exercises for legs and butt. He also suggested to not have my car seat back reclined. That has helped too. Vincent gets to know you which allows you to think of your daily activities that may have caused the injury ( if applicable). Working with the different staff on duty was once again rewarding. After several months of treatment and very light resistance training, my neck/shoulder issues have improved! The 100's of different techniques that are used make the training fun. Always something different which I kike. The Team of Vincent, Kaley, Dee, and Taylor really know their profession. I can't say enough about how this facility runs. The communication is fantastic because you know exactly what to do and are shown how to do it correctly. You also learn a lot about your body and how the muscles and bones work together, as they educate you. My improvement is because of the excellence of the entire staff. From the moment you are greeted at the door, you know you have found the right place. Kathy and Emily at the front, often joined by resident PT Dog Bruin, are sure to make you feel welcomed and well cared for. Therapists Vincent and Alyssa are extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, and take the time needed to get to the root of your issues. For me, it has been lower back pain, sciatic and hamstring injuries and at the ripe young age of 70, my options for top notch care are far from a dime a dozen. Synergy PT does a good job. Vincent has a great team of dedicated physical therapists who are good at what they do. I don't have a plan so I pay out of pocket and that can get expensive but any time I have an issue that won't go away this is the team I go to. Vincent has a keen ability and insight to assess your problem areas and in concert with his team , they take you on a path to heal. I enjoy the light hearted banter between the team and patients. I do prefer the hands on approach and their attention to my sessions is important to me. Sometimes the PT's are distracted or very busy although I prefer more of the focused approach. The assigned exercises really do help and I like that their approach is for whole body alignment, balance and posture. read more

Synergy PT gets results. I have had the occasion to use their services twice. Once for recovery from rotator cuff surgery several years ago which had a positive result. Recently I utilized them for pain associated with an arthritic spine and degenerative disc disease. I was very skeptical that PT would actually help with my back pain but I believed if anyone could get it done, Vincent and his staff at Synergy would be the ones that could. I am happy to say that after my recent course of PT at Synergy my back pain and the frequency that I experience it have been significantly reduced. I highly recommend Synergy PT. Synergy was recommended to me from my orthopedic surgeon. Vincent is great and is very knowledgeable about kinesiology. The entire staff is warm and welcoming which makes most patients feeling cared for and supported. I have been a member of two different gyms. I worked with a personal trainer whose desk was next to mine and who gave me a lot of advice on food and worked with me at the gym in the office building we worked at.
