I am going there for pt on my ankle. Andrew has been patient with me and understands the pace that I need to build my strength back up after 2 months of no walking. I'll be returning for my next set of pt on my knee. The staff is great and the facility is clean. read more

I like this place because it is small, with only two or three therapists working at one time. Everyone is very friendly and getting appointments was easy. I saw Andrew from week two until week six after my knee replacement. I made progress for the first month, but then started going backwards, and needed a manipulation. It was NOT the fault of PT, as the cause was arthrofibrosis (my body made too much scar tissue). read more

I came in for a consultation for abdominal separation 15 min early (this was the instruction over the phone so that I could fill out necessary paperwork). I didn't get in until 15 min after the time my appointment was scheduled for. That's 30 minutes of waiting! The PT appointment itself went smoothly. The therapist, Jordan, was knowledgeable and helpful. We came up with an action plan for core exercises together. It looks like they've changed owners or rebranded because this location used to be Landmark physical therapy, which is what most of the reviews on here are for. It is now Empower physical therapy. read more

The absolute BEST Physical Therapy Clinic in Arizona!!! They have multiple locations but this one takes the cake!!! Trey, my therapist and his assistant Mickayla truly care for every single one of their patients and do an incredible job working with you!!! Not only did they help me learn to walk again after a broken pelvis, but helped me build up my strength to the point where I was doing what felt like a normal workout routine in just 3 months!! I also couldn't even form a 90° angle on my left arm due to a broken elbow, and Trey helped me get back almost my entire range of motion AND helped me regain strength there too!!! These 2 people really changed my life during my recovery process - I couldn't have gotten to where I am now without their help!!! I 1000% recommend them read more

Empower Physical Therapy - The crew for the past 3 months!!! - Physical Therapy Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

After feeling unheard at a previous physical therapy office, I was so happy to find Empower. Trey is encouraging and supportive. Having had a hip replacement in June followed by a knee replacement in September, I feel so much better. The facility is clean and modern and Covid precautions are taken. read more

The best place I've been to ever. They worked with my pain areas. I got well and left with no more pain.

My 12 year old daughter has been going here for PT to enhance recovery from her spinal fusion surgery. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff is to my daughter and to everyone. Above and beyond excellent communication, timely, thorough and positive energy that's invaluable. Jeff, Isaiah & Sandy have made our lives so much better read more

My review is completely based upon the billing, the actual service was fine. I was told up front that my insurance was not going to pay anything (my plan only covers PT after my deductible was met) and the visits would cost me $75 per visit. I'm now receiving bills for another $37.65 per visit totalling $112.65 per visit for basic PT. I find it hard to fathom how they could be so poor at cost estimations as to be off by 50%. I've had plenty of medical estimates be off by a bit, but never by 50% like this. So beware - what they tell you it will cost (and what you pay at the time of service) may be nowhere near what it actually costs you in the end. read more

In 5 minutes Mark, the owner, fixed a problem I have had with my knee for 3 months! He has extensive knowledge of the functions and systems of the human body. His understanding of human anatomy and his ability to translate and teach it to his patients is remarkable. read more

I went to pt for my knee pain. I've been working with Mark for the past 6 or 7 weeks. My knees are so much better. When I come in we spend the time on him deeply working the area and electric stimulation. He expects me to do my exercises at home and I don't waste time at my appointment doing these. He is very knowledgable and pleasant to work with. I feel like we are a team working towards healthier knees! By far the best PT Experience I've ever had. I highly recommend Landmark Physical Therapy! read more

I went to see Mark for an issue with a tight and cramping calf. It was so bad that I couldn't run and I kept waking up with excruciating pain. He quickly diagnosed the problem as stemming from my hip-which really surprised me. I had therapy on my hip and leg and the issue cleared up within a week. They saw me right away unlike other places where you have to wait forever to get an appointment. I've since gone back for a shoulder issue and Mark fixed that too. I highly recommend Mark and Landmark Physical Therapy. read more

I didn't know if I slipped a disc, strained my back or pulled a muscle, all I knew is that it hurt badly and I couldn't walk, sit, or bend without severe pain throughout my back. Mark diagnosed me in about 5 minutes. He said I would be better in 24 hours. I absolutely did not believe him. I expected a six week recovery. After he worked his magic, I felt much better not 100% but definitely 80%. He said that percentage would improve in the next several hours. By the next morning, I could walk, turn, twist, sit with little to no pain. The next day I went back in to be sure I was completely better and I was. ZERO PAIN! In three days, I went from not moving at all to playing golf. Mark is an incredible physical therapist. I would recommend him to anyone. He has a great team of Physical Therapists. I can easily recommend Mark, Joe or Shane! read more

I tried for the longest time, to avoid seeing anyone about my back. I was in denial and thought it would heal on it's own. After being extremely limited to what I could do in workouts, and just in everyday life, I was referred to Landmark Physical Therapy. From day 1, not only did my mobility increase, but I was reassured that I would be back to normal in no time. After only a few visits, and starting to feel much better after each visit, I was released. This was a bitter sweet moment for me. I was extremely happy to go back to my normal active life, but sad to leave the place. The people there - Mark, Shane, and Joe, really care about getting you back to your full potential. I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to Landmark for even the slightest pain. They are miracle workers! read more

I have previously had PT for a persistent rotator cuff problem. Nothing ever helped me until Mark, owner of Landmark, treated me. His hands on treatments, combined with his customized exercise program, cured my shoulder problem in 12 sessions. In addition, He taught me so much about the anatomy and physiology that I understand why consistent strengthening exercises are so important in maintaining the good results. Mark is not only a remarkable physical therapist but a remarkable teacher as we'll. read more

I never believed in PT until I had to see Mark at Landmark a number of years ago after a car accident. He is very thorough in his initial evaluation and his PT treatment works! Since then, I have had other issues crop up and I know that when I return to Landmark, my treatment will always help my pain. Thank you for being so reliable! read more

Mark at Landmark PT was amazing! I injured my left hamstring and glute, as well as my right shoulder over a year ago. Both were lingering injuries. I had months of PT at another place, and I thought they were really good, but I never quite got there. I lost strength in my shoulder, and I figured, at 59, my running days maybe over. A friend suggested Landmark. It was a little brutal. Mark I all about results! He made me cry a little. I even dreaded going. But he was great to work with, very knowledgeable, and most importantly, he put me back together. I'm running pain free again, and don't hold back on my lifting anymore! Ready for Obstacle Course season again! Awesome job Mark! Mark is like my car mechanic. You don't want to need him, but when you do, it's nice to have someone who knows what he's doing, and you can trust! Jack S. read more

I had an EXCELLENT experience with Landmark Physical Therapy at the Raintree Location. My therapist, Cara was OUTSTANDING. I had 5 months of physical therapy (44 visits!) for a massive rotator cuff repair and I needed lots of intense therapy to return to normal function. And I DID IT! I could not have done it without my PT. The facility is personalized and your therapist is the person working on you, not a tech. The program is designed specifically for YOU! Sandy at the front desk is friendly, organized and makes the paperwork process run smoothly. I can only say positive words about the entire staff. Thank you! read more

I never believed In PT until I found Mark and his amazing staff. I have been going off and on for 2 years because of multiple issues. First I had numbness and tingling due to a slipped disc in neck. Mark did wonders for me and taught me how to work on the issue at home and it worked!! Then had rotator cuff surgery for a 100% tear and Mark had me playing tennis after only 3 months! I would sometimes see Shane who is equally as qualified as Mark (trained by Mark), and I have named him the "neck guru"! I've currently had neck, knee and forearm issues and Shane has treated me for all 3, and I am doing so much better. Mark and Shane have also treated my husband, daughter and both of my parents successfully. Anyone that Mark hires has to meet his high standards so any physical therapist at Landmark will be fabulous! Don't waste your time going anywhere else ~ this is truly the practice you want to be with!! read more

After being diagnosed with a bicep tendon tear from playing tennis, my doctor recommended that I find a Physical Therapist who could help me rehabilitate my arm without surgery. I searched around for options and ultimately was referred to Landmark Physical Therapy by a tennis friend. I can highly recommended Landmark Physical Therapy and Mark and Jordan who helped me. Both were very qualified and were good at explaining the physical therapy I needed. In addition to the office treatments, they provided me a detailed set of exercises to perform at home. After 6 sessions, I'm back to playing tennis again. Thank you very much! Al E. read more

I've been to several PT's but experienced no improvement in my balance, my knee pain or my lower back pain. I was fortunate to go to Landmark Physical Therapy and get Eric Ullman as my PT. He's a good listener and a great PT. I've been going to Eric twice a week, my balance and knees are much better, and Eric's great sense of humor is a big plus. He's extremely knowledgable and seems to love what he does. I highly recommend Eric. Believe me when I say you will not be disappointed. read more

Super thankful for the professional P/T expertise the team at Landmark has shared w/me while in recovery from 2 separate knee surgeries w/in 30 days. Michael Edgington's my primary DPT and I'm completely convinced my fast rate of positive recovery directly correlates to his tailored/focused approach to my P/T regiment. There are lots of physical therapy options in the valley, but Landmark's team is second to none. All of the practitioners I come in contact with there, whether its Michael, Mark, Cara, or Eric, are experts, caring and I can tell they really have the patient's recovery as their highest priority. Thanks much! read more

I have been to my fair share of physical therapy locations and nothing compares to Landmark. I have had multiple injuries and am usually displeased with the care I receive and don't find the PT to help much. I have found some places that I liked but Landmark changed my opinions forever. I have now had a large spinal fusion and the care I needed to receive had to be some of the best because I could not afford to have anything go wrong. Most places will have a patient seen by a physical therapist for an initial consult, or even a few minutes each visit, but then have assistants or students follow along and observe exercises. NOT at Landmark. The place is owned by Mark and he truly cares about the business and even more about his patients. There are NO assistants or students helping, you will be seen by a physical therapist from start to finish ever single visit. I found this hard to believe but it is true. It is an incredible value to actually get what you pay for and get REAL care every step of the way, that you can be SURE is accurate and professional. I have been seeing Shane for quite a while now for multiple issues and he is as good as them come. He has helped me through every injury I have had and changed my life forever with helping me with my spinal fusion. I have never been more surprised or pleased by a physical therapy location and Landmark deserves their spot as #1. Small location, personal care, friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, seeing one of the best physical therapists through every step of your recovery until you are better than ever. I would recommend Landmark to anyone day in and day out and still cannot believe how they continue to run such an impactful practice. Landmark will forever change your opinion about physical therapy and you will never want to go anywhere else ever again. read more
