Jordan isn't like a lot of other medical professionals who think they know "it all". She listens to what you have to say and always wants to learn more and she is always willing to answer any questions I have. She is truly open minded and willing to challenge herself. I have been seen by Dr. Sarah twice and have had nothing short but an amazing experience. I had injured my back a month and a half ago, bulged my L5-S1 disc which has been causing strange nerve symptoms such as numbness, tingling, burning, loss of sensation within my legs and feet and was actually seeing another physical therapy clinic. After having minimal to no results I decided to research other clinics and was blessed to have found this place. Just after two sessions with Dr. Sarah my symptoms have significantly improved! Dr. Tina Spivy is the best! I had arthroscopic knee surgery a year ago, dutifully did the physical therapy with another provider, and while it helped for a while, the pain returned. Searching for a solution, I was referred to Dr. Tina Spivy at Impact Physical Therapy. Tina soon had things turned around. She quickly noticed that limping from the pain had over time changed my gait, and that was now contributing to the problem. She literally taught me how to walk again! This, along with hands-on manipulation and various esoteric exercises (some of which I liked, some of which I didn't, but all of which were good for me), improved my strength, mobility and flexibility to the point where I can walk pain-free. First thing you should know about Dr. Ashley Wissink is that she is knowledgable, smart, and professional. Next thing you should know is that she is such a delightful person and makes each PT session fun! I came in with various musculoskeletal complaints after previous injuries and surgeries. Having had 3 anterior cervical fusions, and 1 anterior lumbar fusion I've had a lot of good and bad experiences with physical therapist over the years. My experience with Impact Physical Therapy has been a positive one. What sets them apart are the talented and experianced physical therapist that work with you. Unlike many PT shops you are with a doctor of physical therapy (and not a tech) the entire time! I've had the pleasure of having been seen by three of their doctors (Eric, Dave, and Sara) over the past 5 weeks and I can say that I feel much stronger and have much more more range of motion than when I started. My first experience with Impact Physical Therapy was at the scottsdale location. Upon arrival, Dana was at the front desk to greet me and her bright smile and contagiously awesome attitude made my morning that much better. Dave (my PT) took the time to really dive in deep during our first full assessment/ session together and helped me lay out a battle plan for treating a few underlying hip, glute, and knee issues. He showed me quite a few exercises that I immediately found benefit from that I can easily include into my day. Dr. Dave and Dr. Eric have been amazing! I hold a lot of my stresses and pain in my upper shoulder region. At times, even the neck area seems to really bother me.... which ends up shooting pain through the back of my neck and causing me to have horrible migraines. This place is unlike any other PT clinic I have ever seen. I saw Dr. Jordan and Dr. Eric at the Scottsdale location and they were AWESOME! Not only did they spend a full hour with me, but they also treated me with techniques that WORKED. (I especially loved the cupping and dry needling). Impact Physical Therapy has been a lifesaver for my daughter. As a serious ballerina in training she spends about 35 a week in the studio. Love this place! Being an athlete, I've been to many physical therapy clinics in the past and it would always take at least 8-10 visits over a couple months to feel better. With Impact, I was feeling better after just 2 visits!
