We just came to this businesses Mesa office to have an emg test for my husband for whom I manage all healthcare and when they called him back, I started picking up my purse and they refused to let me come back with him. There was absolutely no reason for this except "that's our policy". Now I have no idea what the Dr's thoughts or recommendations are. This is an absolutely terrible practice so I'm giving them a 1 star because yelp wont let me give less. read more

Sean the technician was superb since I was slightly anxious at 76 years old to have a test for the first time. The neurologist was professional patient and knowledgeable. Dr. Scott Baldridge really cares about his patience. His staff is very helpful. I greatly appreciate him helping my mother, most importantly and me with our sleep apnea and explaining the studies and how our sleep apnea affects our health and well-being. Explaining to us how to improve our health with our BiPAP machine. I should have looked at the 2.6-star rating before I booked an appointment! I had a test in May 2024. Prior to the appointment, I called to see what my cost would be; I was billed what I was quoted and paid what I was quoted. Eight months later, they contacted me and informed me I owe them ~$20 - I said no. They even shared with me that their system had billing issues around that time in 2024, and that could have been the issue. I told them that I paid my full balance and from a principal perspective, I will not pay more. They said fine, we will send it to a bill collector if you don't pay in a month. So I got a bill from a collection service in the mail yesterday - I am at a loss. I have tried to call their office manager, Erica, several times, but there has been no call back. Don't go to this place they are not organized, they don't care, and they will not call you back. read more

I've had sleep apnea for years but recently had to be retested to be able to get masks. It took 5 months for this office to verify my correct insurance benefits. My first appointment, for consultation they were 20 minutes late opening the office. The first test had no results, so they made me pay $50 to come in to be told I had to come back and tried to charge me for a receipt for my fsa card. Now after 10 months, I'm being given 3 different amounts I "owe" before I can get the results of my sleep study. They refused to give me the prescription via mail or through my doctor's office. They have changed the copay amount to amounts that differ from my insurance policy. I have been here a total of 5 times and still can't order a mask for my cpap machine. I have insurance, I paid my co-pays, now they want more and not even the amounts on my insurance. If you have an option, get your sleep study done somewhere else. My husband went through valley sleep centers, they mailed him his prescription, they were on time, and they only charged him what was due based on his insurance. read more

I was less than impressed with the way I was greeted when I arrived. When I scheduled my online appointment, I needed to upload my insurance cards and photo ID, answer the questions and sign off on all the necessary paperwork. Upon my arrival I was asked for my insurance cards and photo ID Again! When I scheduled online I had a few questions left a message for a callback and never received one. I have never had a worse experience. It took three months to get an appointment. I filled at least six pages of forms before the appointment. I arrived ten minutes before my scheduled appointment and the guy behind the glass says that they canceled my appointment because I did not respond to a text message. I said that I confirmed my appointment online and he said that did not matter. I am still angry. They did not email me or call me or text to say that my appointment was cancelled. They did not tell me before hand that if I did not respond to a text message that my appointment would be cancelled. They have so many customers (not patients) they do care at all about my business. Why should they when they are all ready rich. Do not go there. read more

I was referred to NeuroDiagnostic Laboratories by my ENT for a VNG test, due to ongoing symptoms of vertigo. My appointment was originally scheduled for 5/31/24; however, my husband called and they were kind enough to provide me with an appointment a week sooner, on 5/24/24. Before they will confirm your appointment, a prepayment is required, which I did. My confirmation text indicated my payment was for a different test, but I called and was told it was an error. I received instructions which indicated if arriving more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, it would be rescheduled. We gave ourselves an extra 15 minutes to arrive, but of course, it was the Friday of a holiday weekend and traffic was very heavy. We went to the Dunlap location and sat at the signal waiting for trolleys to pass for a good 4 minutes, which ended up putting me at the office counter about 2 minutes past cutoff. I understand the need for patients to be on time and felt terrible about being late, but we had driven over an hour and hoped they would "understand" the circumstances. The young lady at the counter (receptionist) was clearly upset we were late. She asked another young lady if she wanted to take me in and she kindly said, "sure". As I followed her back the receptionist gave me a clip board and said, "Because you were so late, you will have to fill this out in the room". I only saw a consent form and quickly singed/dated it and left it at the front. The young lady who conducted the VNG was wonderful. She was so kind and personable, and was pleasure! When the test was completed, she walked me up to the front desk where the receptionist told me I didn't fill out all the patient forms. I was confused by this because I could have sworn I done them and asked, "Didn't I already do this online?" She said "no". As I proceeded to complete the paperwork, I could hear the receptionist talking to someone on the phone. She said, "I wanted to warn you about the lat patient you sent us. She was a nightmare. She was freaking out..., then she began speaking in Spanish". I was shocked because I thought she might be referring to me, but then realized she had to be talking about someone else. She then hung up the phone; she stood up and took the clip board away and said, "You did complete the forms online, but I didn't see them because you cancelled multiple times". I then said, "I rescheduled my appointment for today, but I never cancelled." She then told the other person who tested me I had "cancelled multiple times". It was the most unprofessional situation I have ever experienced in a medical facility. I was shocked at her behavior. Everyone else was great, but this was quite an experience. On the drive home, I received a text with a link for a review. I was glad because I felt it would be important to let management know, but today, when I went to write my review, the link was expired. I called the office to see about getting a new link, but I couldn't get through to anyone, even after trying different call routing paths. I'm posting this review because it's important. While it was a little difficult to get here because of the construction going on, I was able to find a place without too much difficulty. The process of doing my sleep study was pretty easy and straight forward. Will say asleep was a long enough, but that's par for the course for something like this. Shady billing practices. Charged me $400 and then billed my insurance, which indicated I owed a 25 copay instead of the 400. Double dipping it seems...bill me and then bill insurance and then give me a run around about refunding the 400 they required I pay at the time of the exam. read more

Dr Boulware did the Nerve Study on my hands which were both afflicted with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He is kind, thorough and an elegant man who is also down-to-earth, with a gift for putting patients at ease. I hope never to need his services again (smile) but would easily return to him for them. Came here yesterday for nerve testing on my left arm. The place seemed vacant at least when we were there it was empty. It's inside of a health center that also has a suite for birth and death certificates and then this suite. The front office girl was pleasant. My techs name was Shawn and he was really nice and seemed very knowledgeable. What I liked about him was I had told him I have fibromyalgia and wasn't sure how I was going to do and he literally walked through every step and constantly asked if I was ok and if I needed a break and let me tell you I appreciated that so much because my first experience with nerve testing somewhere else was not pleasant and I left in tears. Then the Dr came in to do the part of the nerve testing that requires a needle inserted into the muscle, not pleasant but he was empathetic and professional. Not that I want to have to do this again but If I had to I would come back here. read more

Extremely kind staff that were incredibly patient with me during what was not at all a pleasant nerve conduction test. The technician was so sweet and could quite easily see I was uncomfortable with procedure. It was a series of multiple shocks but she was as gentle as possible and great at trying to keep my mind off the uncomfortable procedure being performed. I couldn't have asked for more knowledgeable & kind staff for what was a not so fun neurological examination. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

This is the worst medical facility I've ever been to, and I'm a vet...They gave me an at home sleep study, which I had to do twice over a weekend (had to turn the device in after 2 days so someone else could use it apparently). I returned the device, and followed up several days later to get my results. The woman I spoke to said I had to take the at home test still. I explained I had already turned it in several days prior, and was concerned that my data results would now be someone else's since it had been checked out again. I ended up getting the medical device I needed despite the incompetence of the faculty. Now they keep calling/texting me saying that one of my doctors has requested further testing, but won't tell me who that doctor is. It's become borderline harassment at this point. I'd definitely go somewhere else if you have the option. read more

If your doctor refers you here for a sleep study, say NO!!! They insisted I do a home study first but gave me an old piece of equipment with a belt so stretched out that the unit wouldn't stay in place. The oxygen meter (for my finger) got so hot I thought I was going to get a blister. I've never had an issue with one before, so I'm thinking old equipment again. The lady who reviewed the results with me said I needed an in-lab study also, which was scheduled for a few weeks later. She said she would get me one valium so I could sleep, but she didn't. She also failed to tell me I had to use a different entrance for the sleep lab so I almost didn't get in the place. Results were that I need CPAP. However, I didn't trust the results so decided to check elsewhere and got a copy of my test results/report. Much of what was written about my new patient interview was lies and fabrication - - stating examination results of an exam that never happened and quoting me as giving responses to things we never touched on. On top of that, they insisted I pay their normal billed amount rather than the amount according to their contract with my insurance company. I have been trying since early April to get my overpayment refunded with no check in sight as of today. Terrible facility with bad business practices. read more

I was scheduled for some testing at 3:00 Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived (after taking a half day off work, not taking my meds for 3 days as insisted upon, and having fasted - always a treat) I was told that my appointment had been for 2:00 and there was nothing they could do for me. I told them that I had specifically made my appointment for 3:00 because that's when I could get off work, and the very unfriendly receptionist told me I must be mistaken, but if I wanted to sit and wait, maybe the 3:00 wouldn't show up. The 3:00 probably didn't show up because it was supposed to be ME, but I didn't wait around to find out. When I called their billing department to make sure that I wouldn't be charged (although missing a half day of work really is being charged...) I was hung up on. My doctor has assured me there are other places to go, and with that in mind, RUN, don't walk away from this place! read more

My doctor sent over an order for a Nerve study and was told to call to schedule my appointment. I called them and was told it would take 2 days to process the request. I emailed the order myself to ensure they had it. 4 days later I had not heard from them and called back. They had the order 2 days earlier but had not gotten around to calling me back. I did get in the same day, as they had a cancellation. When I arrived the receptionist, Daniella, took my insurance cards and driver's license and said she would return them promptly. I was called in for my test and the Daniella failed to return them. I received a message 20 minutes after I left saying she had my cards and I needed to come back for them. Her excuse was the office was busy, which was a flat out lie. There was only one patient coming in at the same time I did and no one when I left. Fortunately my husband was able to go get them, as I had already moved on to another appointment. Poorly run office! Make sure they do their jobs. read more

They did not follow their own policy about contacting patients at least 3 days before their appointment to let them know what the charges would be to see if the patient still wants to keep the appointment or not. When it became 2 days to my appointment, I called them at which time they informed my they just got the info back from my insurance about the cost and also verified that no one had called me. Upon finding out the cost ($655) and also realizing they don't run a very good office over there I told them to cancel my appointment. They want to still charge me the cancellation fee ($250) as part of their policy even though they didn't follow their own policy about calling patients 3 days or more before their appointment. Also, for my consultation appointment, all they had me do was fill out a questionnaire and have a nurse practitioner look at it and measure my neck. No conversation about any issues or explanation of sleep disorders and the study. They also do not do face to face feedback on your study, they give you a phone call with a yea or nea diagnosis then send your info to a DME company to mail to whatever device they think you may need, read more
