BROTHERS FLOORING!!!!…read more My parents installed our hardwood floors over 20 years ago so saying these floors were rough is an understatement, add in that we have also had dogs the entire time... Meaning that these floors were really really bad (deep scratches, urine stains, deep ingrained grime, water damage from dishwasher/ dog bowls, etc..). I also needed the master bedrooms' carpet removed and LVP installed. I spent hours researching the best company in the area and had many come to our home to give me a quote which ranged from over $8,000 to $4,000. The lower end had the least reviews but they seemed to care the most and the most honest review of my floors. I needed to rush the work so they were able to move things around and Chad showed up 3 days later to start the work. LET ME TELL YOU- Chad is amazing. He was so friendly, honest, personable and I trust him 100% with my parents and our home. It only took 3 days for him to make our home look AMAZING (refinish the floor and install LVP) . I would 10000% recommend them to every person I know. Look at these before and after pictures- My floors have never looked this good!!!!! Please call these guys, I promise you will not regret it. Call them and please ask for Chad. I promise you won't regret it, if you do regret it you can blame it all on me. BROTHERS FLOORING 303-366-0721

Accountable all-around. This is the second time I've used Brothers Flooring. A number of years ago…read moreto remove half of our downstairs that had carpet to make the whole 1st level hardwood floors. It was quality work and an honest price back then. This time I wanted to tackle the upstairs carpet which was an entire floor of carpet. It was in really terrible shape with animals and other problems. We also had a medical need for my wife on why we needed the work. They prioritized the work based on our anticipated discharge date for her. Again they did it at an honest price. I had four total quotes for the work. They weren't the best price, but they were the best price that did everything I needed to be done. Including bleaching and sealing the floors from previous animal problems. The owner Ralph, Angalica at the store, and our terrific installers Chad and Ed were all fantastic. Really great communication the whole time.

Flooring and Home solutions finished my job after several delays due to my work travel and ordering…read morereplacement floor much better than they found it. We had a brand new build, and the flooring in one room was breaking apart I hired flooring at home to repair a section of the flooring. Upon inspection, I learned that the subfloor was likely the problem as well as the planks that the builder used. They attempted to patch the area that was the problem, but due to the subfloor issues after just two weeks the planks had pulled apart. Flooring at home had a incredible customer service experience. They guaranteed their work and offered to redo half of the floor so that it would look professional unfortunately that meant that I needed to order the exact same flooring and that took around two weeks to get from a local store. They came in and ripped out 2/3 of the flooring in one room and found that there were two giant holes in the subfloor and that the subfloor was not even they even got the subfloor, patched the holes and laid down in under lament that does not exist anywhere else in my house. This one room will have the best flooring that will probably last the longest. They did an incredible job and I would highly recommend you use them their communicative, friendly, and prompt.

I hired Leo Aceves dba Wow Wood Floors in October 2023. I was having a problem with my basement…read morefloor being uneven and wanting to redo my stairs. Leo said he could level my basement floor, install new flooring and redo my stairs. I really liked how the stairs turned out, and was wanting to redo another set of stairs. Floors and stairs were completed close to the end of December 2023. Within one week, the flooring started to buckle, I could feel it push down when I stepped on it, and it would raise back up when I stepped off. Leo came out twice to try and fix it, doing the least he could, and it still was not corrected. He stated he would probably have to remove that last portion that was installed, reinstall it, and that would cost him money. He also said I could pay for another 20 bags of leveler and that would fix the problem. He was really slow to respond to text messages, about two weeks each for the first couple of times he came out. I kept trying to contact him, he refused to answer phone calls or text messages, I found out he blocked my number. I sued him in January 2025 to get the floor fixed. We had to attend court ordered mediation. During that process, he and his lawyer saw a video of how the entire basement floor was uneven, buckling and snapping. He asked to fix the issue. I requested to get through the end of the school year with teaching and covering sporting events. He agreed. In June, I sent texts or emails, once a week for four weeks with no response. He finally responded in early July saying he could get me on the schedule at the beginning of September. I responded and asked him to get me on the schedule. I never received any response from Leo. I had a lawyer send a letter to him and his lawyer in August reminding him of them agreeing to fix the repairs during mediation. As of this review, he still has not responded. I have attached three photos of the unevenness of the floor. This is how my entire basement is today. Please consider this review when deciding if Leo Aceves dba Wow Wood Floors should complete your project. There is a possibility you could end up with problems that will not get resolved, will get no communication from Leo, and have to pay another company to fix your project.

Gave me a bid for the work to be done and a timeline to get it completed. He immediately put me to the top of his list because it was that unsafe. Worked tirelessly to insure that it was completed fast and was safe. The bid he gave me was equal to what other companies had given me, but he was concerned for the safety of my family and was willing to get on it immediately. The value and peace of mind he gave me made him my number one choice. He stuck by his bid and completed the project on time. I will use him again should I have any other flooring issues.

They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. That was 2022. About a year later, Steve redid our stair case & balusters. I couldn't have been happier with the end result. Steve was fine. Floors ended up good. He clearly knows his stuff. A little too well, in that he…read moretakes a few shortcuts. In the end, you'll know that the communication was horrible (mostly handled by the wife (whose name I forgot)) and the end result will be decent but won't wow you. Pricing is likely in line with that. We got three quotes, $2700, $3300, and $3500. S&J was $3300. I would say just don't trust their communication at all. They will be all over the place in what days to move stuff, what days they'll be done, when you can walk on it, etc. Just plan on 12 days of mayhem for 1000 sq ft and you'll be good. One last thing, they tell you it is a three coat system, but it is stain, then two coats. Very, Very misleading. Update: I suppose "shortcuts" was the wrong term. Lazy is the term I should have used. There is white stain all over my house where it shouldn't be. Nearly every door handle is stained because he didn't clean his hands, there is a permanent footprint on the entryway, there is stain on the dark kitchen cabinets, he left two hardboards here that I had to get rid of for him. There are little white beads of stain coming up between boards. Just lazy. Oh, and the communication piece I am referring to is that 4 days before our project started, the wife's cell phone was disconnected by her carrier and I could not reach them in any way. I wrote their email on the website but never got a review. Never was given Steve's number. The 12 days refers to 2 days to move your stuff, 5 days of work, then 5 days before you can put rugs back down. Steve told us only 3 days for furniture, but I actually read the label of the Bona coating he used and it clearly said 5 days for rugs (which furniture is on top of) so 12 days. Also, little lazy that he said 3 days when the product he is "certified" to use clearly says 5 on it.
