However she was extremely patient, kind and informative! She helped solve my issue and get me the care I need to be able to live a healthy life. I can't even speak to the quality of their services because we have yet to receive any. We were referred to this company back in December in order to get our baby's specialty formula, he has a documented dairy intolerance and cannot have regular formula. It is now almost March and I have been trying for WEEKS to figure out how we can finally order and receive our son's formula. I have lost count of how many times I have called their intake department, probably 10+ at this point and no one is calling me back. I am a nurse myself with nearly a decade of experience, in all my years working as an RN I have never dealt with a home health company that is so incompetent in simply returning a phone call. Perhaps our case is not of priority to them because they are not making an enormous amount of money off of it, something that was actually admitted by a member of their intake department, but we are talking about food for an INFANT here. Friendly receptionist and easy intake process. Masks and temperature checks are understandably required. Clean facility and ample parking. The nurses are very nice and greet you when you arrive. They will review any required medications and make sure you are comfortable before they begin the process. There are many reclining chairs and a sofa for parents who are accompanying their children. They have multiple televisions for those who want to watch TV during the process. Some people bring a book to read or sleep during their treatment. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. read more

I've been getting treatment at Oso Homecare at the Long Beach AOC for over 5 years up to 3 times a week at times and I can't say enough about about the Quality of care or the people that work there. Marybeth, JP, and Charmaine are excellent nurses and even better people. I actually look forward to my infusions. The facility itself is welcoming and clean and in a fairly easy to get to location. The lack of professionalism and neglect my father has faced with this pharmacy is beyond words. We've had issues with them before regarding billing but this last issue was the pharmacy neglecting to inform me that my father's hemoglobin level had dropped below 7 which I have told them before to either let me know right away or email me the bloodwork so I can see if they are too busy to tell me. Now I am on my way to the emergency room with my father who has stage 4 cancer/ painful everywhere due to bone metastasis to wait for a blood transfusion to which we could have done outpatient if we knew the results sooner. I called furious and the pharmacy manager Ghazal started laughing a little bit which is truly upsetting. I would recommend to go elsewhere if you can. read more

2 years ago I wrote my review and I'm still guessing each statement - what it covers, if insurance or Vyepti program covered their portion and the payments are usually wrong and inconsistent. There's no break down of costs, who's paid what or who's responsible for what. I have to call and get the dance around. Oso Home Care is run by a group of greedy, incompetent money-grubbers. I have Covid and need monoclonal antibodies. Yesterday, my doctor sent a request to Oso for regeneron. Unfortunately, Oso only has something called bamlanivimab. Instead of administering it to me, one of Oso's case managers called and told me that I need to ask my doctor to change his request. He said he had tried to call with no luck. Unfortunately, my doctor could not contact Oso by the end of the day, leaving me the entire weekend to suffer needlessly. First, I find it hard to believe that Oso couldn't just substitute one medicine for another. More interesting is what came next. Oso said that my medical group is rejecting insurance claims for monoclonal antibody treatments. Therefore, I would have to pay them $750 out of pocket and then try to collect the money from my insurer. Unconscionable. OSO PUTS PROFITS BEFORE PEOPLE AND HAVE ZERO EMPATHY. Unless you have money to burn, I'd avoid this shoddy operation like the plague. At this point, I wouldn't trust them to administer aspirin to me. read more

Check your EOB's! They're very shady, and will bill you for services that were never rendered! My insurance company investigated them for insurance fraud. They charged me for speciality drugs and two IV bags per visit, etc. I never had any speciality drugs at all, only saline (sodium chloride) aka hydration IV's. My doctor never prescribed 2 bags per visit. EVER! Make sure that once you get your billing, if they even give you your billing at all, that you pull your explanation of benefits and compare and contrast every charge. This is a VERY shady company!! Best home health care providers! They will go above and beyond to help and make sure everything runs as smooth as possible. From the initial visit to the end they will provide the best care. My mom had antibiotics that needed to be given at home and they made sure I felt comfortable doing it by myself to help my mom and even offered to come late at nights to teach f I needed help. A lot of health care companies that provide infusion drug services are bureaucratic, impersonal, and perfunctory--this is not the case with Oso Home Care. Although their building's façade is relatively unassuming, this company is a diamond in the rough. If you need inufusions, injections, or other catheter/line care, look no further. They have an admirable balance between medium-sized company charm and larger-sized company resources, so you get a balance of everything needed to feel cared for and appreciated as a patient. The nurses and administrative staff are kind and attentive, and the best part is you RARELY have to wait if you are seen on-site, in my experience--I've never been seen at home, but I assume it's a similar quality of service. From my understanding, health care companies don't put time and effort into their infusion centers because of the complicated billing and insurance schemes involved with such drugs, an oversight that is then thrown onto the patient. This place does a great job making sure that receiving an infusion drug or similar service goes as smoothly and comfortably as possible, something other health care companies I've dealt with could take a few lessons from. They also provide formula/feeding supplies, so I might send some of my friends here in the future for that as well. Cant say enough great things about Oso Home Care infusion center in Redlands. The Office staff (Natalie) was very personable and helpful. Since this was my first visit she knew I would be there a long time so she went out and bought me a Subway sandwich. She also made sure I knew that they had drinks and snack available. Renee, (the infusion nurse) was also great. She too was very personable and caring. The infusion center is located in an old house and was very comfortable and did not have that cold, clinical feel. read more

Oso Home Care has played a huge role in my health and my life. I have been a patient with Oso for over 5 years, due to having 38 major surgeries over the last 6 years. If I did not have Oso supplying me with everything I have needed (and still do need) over these years, then I don't think I would still have my legs and my heart problems would be much worse. I physically am incapapble of going somewhere to receive my infusions that are saving my life, so having them delivered to my door has been everything for me. Peter Nguyen, who works in the Pharmacy at Oso, has been absolutely amazing. I know that I can call him at any time and he will help me get the supplies that I need. He understands that I have a rare disease, which causes me to need more supplies, and different supplies, than most people. Peter goes over and beyond to help me get those supplies. As for their nurses who come to your home...Abe and Mike are the absolute best. I have unfortunately had to deal with many home health nurses over the years (from different home health companies) and I have dozens of nightmare stories. These two men are knowledgeable, caring, responsible and they are just all around great guys. They do not cut corners when it comes to sterility and that is by far the MOST important thing when having home health care. read more

My Doctor placed me on 6 weeks home IV antibiotics. The pharmacy has been efficient. I've received my antibiotics & supplies on schedule each time. I would rate 3 Stars for that part of the service because they wouldn't give me a delivery time. I had to wait around until 7pm not sure if they were going to come. I had to keep calling but they did deliver and it was the correct order. For the nursing staff of Oso I would rate 1 Star. Even though they've all been very nice, they seem to be lacking actual skills, except for one nurse that was very good. She came out on a Friday night and started a new IV in my hand that lasted until I got my picc line on Monday. It's almost impossible to get a hold of someone. Either you are disconnected or the message box is full or if you can leave a message no one bothers to call you back. My picc line came out because of the dressing placed wrong. I spent 3 hours Christmas morning at the ER. I tried from Wednesday to Saturday night just to get a hold of someone to come out and change a soiled dressing. I had to place tape around it trying to hold it on. My arm is a mess from broken down skin and rash. They tell you they care about you and they will come out right away but it's just not true! If you can't get a hold of someone through the nursing line I eventually found out that calling the pharmacy line might help. If you can choose your home health company then look for a different one. I wouldn't put my life in their hands again unless it's just for delivering antibiotics. read more

I can't disagree more with the negative reviews. Clearly these are patients that don't require interfacing with a DME company on a regular basis for an extended amount of time. I have read the negative reviews and find them quite petty and inconsequential. If you need DME equipment permanently, THIS IS THE COMPANY TO GO TO. I have had nothing but AMAZNG experiences with them. We had CORAM and it was a nightmare. OSO is so so great about making everything easy and accessible. I have never had a problem with them. I never spend more than 10 minutes on a call with them, whereas with CORAM I had to like block out at least two hours per month on my calendar to get on the phone with them (there were many months I spent over 10 hours on the phone with them with no resolution in the end--SO FRUSTRATING). I can't emphasize how much I appreciate OSO Home Care and recommend them to anyone needing DME equipment. I know a lot of families cannot get a lot of critical lifesaving supplies because they are "on back order" because of "supply chain issues" but I just called them yesterday and today I have TWO--thats TWO!!--Mini One buttons this morning! read more

Unless cost is no concern, avoid OSO Home Care at all costs. They start their billing at what is competitive, race past that to what is fair, zoom right by that to fly past the line that defines what is ethical and then very carefully halt at the line that defines what is legally defined as fraud. My son requires supplemental nutrition that I'd been ordering off Amazon, but I had been attempting to find a way to get it covered by insurance, so I had been calling around. I found out from Oso how much they would bill for the nutritional supplement and that they would not charge for delivery. The amount they were billing was more than Amazon, but reasonably competitive and it would then pass through my insurance and count towards my deductible. After 2 deliveries (a month's supply each) I finally got my first bill, which was about 3 times what had been discussed. Their billing did not provide line item amounts so figuring out why the bill was so much required a lot of time on the phone with Oso and my insurance company and researching medical billing codes. It turns out they were charging me for 30 days of infusion services with each month of delivered supplements. The same billing code used for when a nurse comes to your home and infuses medicine (S9340). Just to be clear, the only service they were providing is dropping of the boxes at my front door. This fee wasn't disclosed when I first contacted them. When pressed for why they were charging this fee, their was response was that they were permitted to charge it by the insurance company. read more

The staff in billing told me I wasn't welcome at this facility. My insurance confirmed that I was covered for services here. Also my MS medication supplier also confirmed my approval. I was called by OSO staff and told that I was finally approved for services and when I showed up I was denied. Nobody at OSO knows what they are doing. I spoke with Hamid, I believe was his name,(The big boss) And it was all a mess. My insurance wasn't the problem. The staff treats people like S~it! I wouldn't go back if you paid me. Ask people that go there. Delayed appointments, making a 1 hour stay turn into 3. And worse for others with longer infusion times. Some nurses were spectacular, but not worth the BS that you have to deal with. If you want to be treated with respect, find another facility! read more

This review is for their billing and pharmacy department. We had Oso send us Enteralite Inifinity pump for my daughter in 2017, and in 2018, we no longer needed it. We had called them at the time to settle the bill and ask what we need to do with the pump. The gentleman on the phone who was very sympathetic to our situation specifically said do not worry about returning the pump and that everything is taken care of. This is now October of 2020. We get a bill from Oso for $2,500 for the pump. I call and then I get directed to their pharmacy department, which I'm not sure why. The lady on the phone says she was not here 2 years ago, but she says we need to pay $2,500 or return the pump. She claims there's no record of any of what I said. I don't even know where that pump is after more than 2 years, and we get a bill now for $2,500? Hey Oso - first of all, if you wanted the pump back, say that you need it back when I was asking about it, in 2017/2018. Don't come asking for it after 2 whole years, after telling me specifically that it was all taken care of. Secondly, get some new customer service person in there. The lady I talked to at the pharmacy group was as dumb as a doorknob. Hard to carry on a conversation talking to someone who only sees "$2,500". And lastly, screw you and you overcharging for that pump. $2,500 for a used little plastic piece of sh*t that doesn't even work half the time? Didn't you squeeze out enough money out of people in medical needs like my daughter already? How much more is enough? You still want to collect after death? Grow a conscience. read more

I went to get my COVID test on July 20th 2020 its been 9 days since I took my test everyone who also worked with me took their test at other FREE covid testing sites at the same time and received their results with 3-5 days! I feel this place is misleading!! they charge $125 and you get your results within 2-3 days versus you pay $50 copay and it runs thru your insurance and they send it to a different LAB and it takes forever or you dont get your results. But the lack of customer service, communication and NO LAB results leads me to believe they took my money. I can't go back to work they took my $50 and still no results! We have a family member who has had two brain surgeries in the last 4 weeks. She is home now and is supposed to have IV antibiotics. She's had two defective pumps and has lost a dose. She has one more dose, but no pump to administer it. She is a widow with two teenage daughters. Her daughters are not trained in medical care and she is at her wits end because the caregivers have no solution for her. Her own thought processes are greatly diminished by the surgeries including loss of vision in one eye. This situation is absolutely ridiculous. I'm very surprised at some of the reviews I've read. It seems that Oso chooses which patients they feel deserves care and which patients aren't worth their time. Oso Homecare is scary. read more
