they confirmed that my shawarma chicken platter will come with both garlic and tahini sauce, but it tahini sauce was not included. I aked if my platter is missing a sauce, and they lied to me that both garlic and tahini sauce are included. I cant believe they cheat on customers like that. The vast variety offered and the shish taouk dinner plate was absolutely delicious. I strongly recommend Osmows after my first experience dinning at this location in upper James. Food is hot, served with a courteous and friendly smile from cashiers. Quality of food is comparable to the Osmows of streetsville, the first location unique to its true blend of authentic middle eastern flavours packed with a punch of spices to satisfy your cravings. I personally recommend the shish taouk dinner plate, the chicken is moist and marinated to perfection. The Fatoush salad my main side kick packs an exciting new flavour to the shish taouk, raising the intensity of the delightful meal and bringing a healthy and crunchy texture to every bite. When it first opened, the quality was very good. Now the quality is very low. They don't put as much chicken. Last time I ordered a large chicken on the rocks. 1/4 of it was without chicken and just rice. Another time I ordered a super chicken shawarma sandwich. All they did was double the pita. The size stayed the same. The staff are very friendly but I don't think I'll be going back. I'll try the other Hamilton location to see how it is. read more

We ordered the chicken on the rocks, beef on the rocks, fattoush salad, and a side of falafels. The falafels looked nothing like the webite pictures - they were flat, burnt and extremely dry. The chicken, beef and rice were also dry. It was impossible to eat. Not even the garlic sauce or hot sauce could save it. The only hing that was edible was the salad. Tried to return the sandwiches to the restaurant and the manager did not take incident seriously and get rid of all the meat in the dish where he made the sandwiches from. The food here is very good and the prices are very reasonable. for six bucks you get a huge shwarma with a great selection of toppings and a nice range of hot sauces, which I find the hot might be too hot for most people. however if you are ordering fries be sure to mention you do not want the garlic sauce. I had the Osmow's Special and while the chicken was tasty and plentiful the fries were drenched in garlic sauce. drenched. the man behind the counter told me that's how they come. I could have declined that and had him make fresh ones for me but decided to try it. while it was OK I would not ask for it again. And that's what I told him before leaving, you need to ask people if they want garlic sauce on their fries. everything else is fine, clean place and quick service but remember, if you call ahead and go to pick up your food, make sure they open the container so you can have a look first or you might not like what you find when you get home. read more
