I decided to schedule the procedure and I was very pleased to be scheduled in pretty quickly. They have the option of super early appts (7am) which was really great for my schedule. The morning of the procedure everything went as planned with no delays. I was prescribed pain meds and he called me that same day in the late evening to check in and see how I was doing. I missed the call but I appreciated the message. I had some concerns about some pain I was feeling several days after and I was able to email in some pictures for him to take a look at and see if things looked normal. I was relieved to hear back and I was able to get a refill for meds. All in all the experience was very pleasant and I can see why this location has so many 5 stars. IV sedation was the chosen method of anesthesia. Didn't feel anything honestly. Once the drugs started, probably within 3 mins I was out. Not sure if I was actually sleeping with my eyes closed or maybe they were open and I didn't know what was going on. In any case, I don't remember anything and when I came to, it felt like it was maybe 5-10 mins that had passed. It was quite surreal tbh, and I would recommend anyone doing this procedure to do IV sedation. I think general would be overkill (and more expensive), but that's just my opinion.
