We live in Orlando, but after being nickel and dimed by Greenway Ford for years, we decided to give Carlos a shot. He came highly recommended by my mother-in-law, who raved about him for months prior. Carlos was able to check out my car right away. He did a thorough diagnostic assessment, and went over results in depth with my husband and I, and fixed the issues within a day (pretty major ones). I went to another shop and purchased a tire because I didn't trust driving to Orlando on the spare. That also was a mistake. I blame myself mostly, because my car has never been to any other shop than the dealer and most of these places have no clue how to care for luxury cars. I paid for a wheel alignment, balance and oil change. When they were done, my car was driving like crap. It was not driving as smooth as it usually does. I brought the car back to them, I don't know what they did but they took it out for a drive 3x. When they came back they said it was fine. It was not fine. It was driving rough, and even shaking when it got to a certain speed. I drive out and came right back and asked again for the supervisor. The "probable" issues were: 1. Maybe your barely driven car has a transmission issue that's why it's shaking. 2. Something is wrong with your 2 brand new tires that's why they are riding so rough. I won't say what the real issue was which was partially their fault when I finally brought it to the dealer, but needless to say they will never touch my car again. I had to get another wheel alignment and balance. I considered bringing the report from the dealer to them, but I was so disgusted I knew I would get into an argument with the supervisor so I decided to just take the loss and never go back there and I probably won't recommend anyone to go there either. If you don't know how to service a certain car, you should tell the customer.

The service techs filled me in on everything they were doing and I felt like I was in great hands as they educated me on things like the engine/air filter and cabin filter among other things. One of the things I notice most from customer service is how employees can empower the customer to make informed, confident decisions. My tech, Joel, went above and beyond to provide this experience for me! I went in for an oil change but they checked a lot of things Jiffy Lube usually misses- like air in my tires or checking my front and rear blinkers and break lights. Although Jiffy Lube stands out to me when they clean the windows and vacuum the car floor/carpets- I know these places also aren't a car wash. So, while those extras are nice, I still hold Valvoline to a high standard when getting an oil service because of how this team valued my time and my business, with a smile. I was able to score a deal through their website, which lowered the cost and this made me more willing to change the engine air filter they offered on the spot. I always appreciate discounts like this provided by the company. I will be coming here again and recommending Valvoline to my friends and family. Usually we talk about how unwelcoming and scammy car dealerships tend to be when going in for maintenance and how to avoid them--but this just proved to me why I stay loyal to these manufacturers :)
