We ordered the chop steak to share, very tasty and came with a very good baked potato. We ate at the bar and enjoyed the other customers and the staff. They have an outstanding assortment of bourbons and whiskeys. The owner/manager let me try a Japanese whiskey gratis so that was nice. I will definitely go back. read more

Food was very good! Good options for kids. Very extensive menu that I wish I had more stomachs to experience. Was a little bit on the pricey side. Had an extra fee for using a card. Will be back! read more

We went here on the tail-end of a road trip not sure where else to stop, but we were impressed! The movie-themed restaurant was a fun atmosphere. My mom and I shared "The Out of Towners" creamy tortellini pasta (we are tiny women) and it was plenty and delish. read more

Came here last march. The owner served us, he was so entertaining! I really appreciate his gregariousness!! The food was great too! We got to chat with the locals also and they were very entertaining! Definitely left an impression. I will definitely be back when I'm out in the area! read more

Paid over $20 for black Angus. Doesn't come with a salad (that's extra) the entire steak was fat. I got 2 bites in. Wholey disappointed. Too expensive for a bad cut read more

Had the open face sandwich and fries. Brown gravy and nice, lightly salted bread. $14. For lunch for one. Music is crazy loud but great service. My go to place in Limon. Fast order to table as well. Thanks! read more

Reasonable prices. Always get expectational service and food. The parking lot can get a little crowded but not the businesses fault

Stopped to have a drink and dinner. Food was good service was outstanding. Greeted at door was seated in bar. Mary was our server she came right away got us beers. Recommend Big easy pasta and ribeye. Order both steak was perfect and pasta was fabulous. What a shock in the middle of no where. Would you find such a good restaurant. Will be back travel 70 all the time!. Keep up the good work! read more

After driving 6 states in 2 days and reaching the final destination to yet stop again because I was hangry. I SAW Oscar's! The menu has a wide variety of just about everything to choose from; sandwiches, pastas, main attractions being meat, then surf and turf choices, seafood choices and salads. I got the Salmon salad, no tomatoes, extra onions and the lemon dill vinaigrette plus capers were the added perk to my salad. Then finished the night off with a slice of raspberry marble cheese cake. Not a bad place to grab a decent meal if you're hangry. read more

Had the best ribeye steak meal. We were just passing thru and just found Oscar's. The staff was great. Service was great and food was perfect on timing and taste. This was certainly one of our best experiences for a pub and grill. read more

I'm always blown away when I am able to indulge in a delicious, memorable meal in the middle of nowhere on my work trips... granted the company paid so for the past week I've ordered the same thing(second most expensive on the menu) 4 nights in a row. The Godfather porter steak with loaded mashed potatoes!!!! Nomnomnom. Had great service 3/4 nights... and that's amazing given the location of this place in my opinion. read more

Somewhere on the Great Plains, Colorado. Right now: Awesome Roadhouse! Ask for Mark at the bar. He's the owner. A worldly owner. What great conversations with him & the others sitting at the bar. A perfect stop after driving all day. Seriously: we are traveling cross country: San Francisco to Coastal North Carolina & this was a rejuvenating stop. read more

We were about to give up on Limon, having tried several places that were either closed or packed. But then, we decided to give Oscar's a try. It was a good choice. It was quiet and had a nice atmosphere. The bathrooms were especially roomy and clean, and the decor of old movies all through the place was nice. We got sandwiches and burgers. I had the reuben, and it had a very good sauerkraut on it. My wife had a hot roast sandwich that had a spectacular brown gravy on it. My older daughter had a burger with a fried egg on it, and she liked it a lot. My younger daughter got a burger on the kids menu, and it was just as big as the adult burger for half the price. Fries came with the sandwiches and burgers (except for the hot roast sandwich that came with mashed potatoes). The fries were really good, with that really crispy outside from a good batter and a nice still soft middle to them. Of what we saw of Limon, which was not very impressive overall for dining options, this one was a good choice. read more

The food was so delicious tonight! The French dip is by far one of the best I've ever had! Ever!! The bread was amazing and I love the cheese they melted on the meat. Soooooo good!! Service was better tonight as well. Every time we've eaten here, the owner and his wife have been there. Although he is friendly and thanks everyone for coming, he seems pretty removed as far as helping an understaffed restaurant. So although they could have used a little help tonight, our waitress still held her cool and did a great job. This was our third time eating here while passing through and we will continue to go back when staying the night in Limon! read more

we were passing through town and decided to stop in March 29, 2023. The place was fabulous. The service was excellent. The food was most excellent. I wish I had more time to stay longer. 100% would recommend this place. It's a real jewel. read more

Great find on our motorcycle ride out to Limon. I had the 8oz sirloin with loaded mash, steak was tender and delicious. My wife had the thin crust cheese pizza which was excellent. Son in law had the chicken fried steak and white gravy! Gravy was delicious. Will be back next time we are in town. read more

The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Their version of "The Reuben" was tasty. Corned beef was lean, sauce and sauerkraut in perfect proportion. Our server was beyond attentive and I wished we had her name. The movie/Oscar motif was interesting. So glad we chose Oscars for our one night stay in Limon. read more

If you are in Limon you absolutely need to visit Oscar's. The food is great (I'm partial to the Big Easy which is an excellent take on a Cajun Pasta). The burgers are fantastic as well if you are a whiskey affecinado then you better check this out. The staff is great and the owner and his wife rock it in this gem in a small town. read more

My father and I stopped here during a long road trip, it's nice to see little towns like Limon have sit down restaurants open late. Service was very friendly, the vibe was energetic with movie themed decor! The food was so-so; doesn't accommodate much of their written menu (which lacks much variety) read more

Great food!!! Amazing service and great prices! The whole theme of the Oscars is so awesome!

We're driving across the country and stopping at all sorts of "truck stop" restaurants. This is, by far, the best yet. Fast service, clean, great food, and lots of movie memorabilia to look at while you wait. Also - Oscar's might have the cleanest and fanciest ladies' room ever! There are chandeliers and it is spotless! Very nicely decorated! If every truck stop in the U.S. had a restaurant like Oscar's, road trips would America's favorite pastime again! read more

We had the Best meal here @ Oscar's Bar & Grill! The menu had a large variety of options, including lots of homemade "comfort food"! The minute we walked in the door we were greeted with an enthusiastic Welcome from the owner! Our waitress Sherri was the best waitress I can remember having! So nice & friendly, and great/fast service! I've heard the saying "Go to the place where the Locals go"! Well, it was apparent That's what Oscar's is.....the best place in town! We can't say enough Good things about Oscar's!! read more

We eat there Saturday and order cheese burgers chicken sandwich and taco salad. The cheese burgers were like hockey pucks. They were so well done it could of been beef jerky burgers. The people behind the bar seemed like they were as drunk as the patrons. Save your money go to McDonalds across the street you will get a much better burger over there. read more

Passing through from out of town and asked the hotel for a restaurant recommendation.. Oscars was one of the best meals I had on a week long road trip....the food, service and ambiance couldn't have been better. I have lived in NYC and Seattle all my life and Oscars is right up there with some of the best. For a small town experience with high end food. I highly recommend it when in town. read more

Wow! Traveling for the total eclipse was challenging for local small businesses in small town, which typically do not get the numbers of people flocking for places to eat!!! The staff was very accommodating, let us know their challenges, I.e., we had a longer than normal wait for our food. I had a pizza, it was crispy thin crust, delicious! My husband had a hamburger, it was well done. Considering what they were going through, they pulled off the "people" part exceptionally! If you are ever traveling through and need a place to stop- This is the one! Very friendly , good food! read more

Great selection of local beers. If you're a whiskey fan this is even more your place. They have plenty of bottles and vintages to choose from; from all over the world too. The food looks and smells great but I would be remiss in my duties as a reviewer to say I tasted it. I only partook in the bar. And at happy hour at that. 2 for one beers for the price of one. Service was great when I was here. No complaints. The bartendress was knowledgeable about brews and the selection of various poisons. Timely and spot on. read more
