Oscar's Bar & Grill…read more Easter Sunday. Road trip to Denver. Middle of nowhere Colorado. Translation: finding food could've been a problem. Luckily... we landed at Oscar's Bar & Grill in Limon--and this turned out to be one of those "right place, right time" kind of stops. From the outside, it's a classic roadside bar & grill, but once you step inside, it's got personality--movie memorabilia, neon lights, pool table, and that relaxed, local hangout vibe. The kind of place where you just know you're going to get a solid meal. We weren't looking for anything heavy--just something good--and the $9.99 burger special caught our attention right away. Enter Sherry--our server--and she absolutely made the experience. Friendly, engaging, and confident in her recommendations (always a good sign). She pointed me straight to the Texas BBQ Burger, and that was the move. Smoky, slightly sweet BBQ sauce (house-made and legit) Crispy onion rings stacked right on top Juicy burger cooked just right That first bite told me everything I needed to know--this place knows what it's doing. I paired it with coleslaw, which was surprisingly solid--fresh, not overdressed, and a nice balance to the richness of the burger. We passed on appetizers and dessert this time, but based on the menu (and Sherry's confidence), there's definitely more here worth exploring. Bottom line: If you're rolling through Limon--especially on a holiday when options are slim--Oscar's is a no-brainer. Great service, good food, fair prices, and a welcoming local vibe. This is exactly what a road trip stop should be.

The meat in every dish we tried was super tender, flavorful, and cooked really well. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better for our family. We'll definitely be back!

He was very attentive and didn't bat an eye when 13 women each wanted their own check and even took some group pictures for us which was really thoughtful. The chicken enchiladas here are amazing! They were full of flavor and came with a large side of refried beans and rice. The Italian margarita was really good as well but it came in a very small glass for the amount I paid. Most of my friends got a side chile rellano as their entree which is apparently on of their top dishes here. Overall it is has a classic Mexican restaurant ambiance with bright colors and large furniture. I will absolutely be back now that we live nearby.

We were originally headed somewhere else on Santa Fe but it was packed, so we stopped in here instead and it turned out to be a great surprise. The space has a cool, slightly mysterious vibe with some Tulum inspiration from the owners' love of Mexico, but the menu also reflects their Eastern European background. It's an interesting mix that somehow works really well. The cocktails were excellent. Everything we tried was well balanced and thoughtfully made. We also ordered a few small bites and they hit the spot. One thing we didn't expect to find there is that they also have an escape room connected to the lounge, which makes the whole place even more unique. Definitely a fun and different spot in the Santa Fe area. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the escape room next time.

I've always wondered why more escape rooms don't have a coffee shop or a bar area for their participants to decompress and talk about what they just experienced. We had a great time with our escape room experience and the Mystic Lounge itself had solid cocktails. We got to try their wine flight - A Taste of the Balkans - as well as the Cody Colorado. The alcohol pour is quite generous. Their menu is extensive on drinks but not as much on the food. They do offer some bites and we tried their burek. The burek was flakey, warm, and had a hefty meat portion - which I appreciate. A wonderful concept to integrate escape rooms and bars together!

Man what happened to this place…read more. Jasmine used to be my favorite bar in the area. They provided a varied menu with incredibly unique and delicious drinks with an upscale yet cozy vibe inside. However our last visit was anything but. Supposedly they've made the decision to drop the entire "old menu" as the bartender called it in favor for an uninspired and honestly boring Christmas menu with drinks that weren't even remotely on the level of their previous offerings. Yet the prices were actually higher than their standards. This current menu feels like something you'd pay $11 for at a dive or chain restaurant. After a relatively long wait for service, we ordered 3 drinks, having to repeat ourselves multiple times to the hostess that didn't seem to have any clue of what their drinks were called. Of the 3, none of them included the garnishes that were outlined in the menu, and one drink was completely wrong. We were allowed to keep it and had it replaced at no cost at least, but even the replacement did not have the correct garnish per the menu. I'm praying this place didn't sell out and it's just in some strange transition period between seasons but I won't be returning to check until some time after the new year and these awful drinks are gone. For now, go to Nora's.

It was less fancy/pretty than I thought it would be, but it's a good place to get a strong drink (based on the menu/ingredients - they all looked pretty strong!) and sit/relax. There was plenty of free parking on the main road, and some seating out front which was just outside. Would be a nice hang spot during the pleasant spring and fall months, or summer evenings!

The vibe is dark, elegant, and cool without trying too hard -- it really feels like a secret hideout (but in the best way). Drinks? Insanely good. Food is simple but hits the spot -- charcuterie, grilled cheese, and pretzel bites that pair perfectly with the cocktails. Bonus: You get a welcome sip when you arrive! I will definitely try to make it back one of these days when passing back through the area! Also had lots of free street parking all along the main road ~
