First, they didn't clean the carpet twice as the former company did as always to make sure the carpet was clean enough. Second, after he finished his job, the carpet was not clean and still had stains on. The worse thing was the guy indicated charging me more money than the price that we discussed on the phone with his supervisor. When I showed my dissatisfaction with the carpet's cleanness, the guy declared the price was different if he helped removing the stains. So why I hadn't known at the first place. If they said so, I would never hair the company. Although he still cleaned it without charging extra money, I have got so upset about all the flurries spending so much time arguing with him about his work. What a bad experience! read more

***** 5 stars Oscars has been cleaning our carpets since 2009. We also use them to clean and recoat our 40 year old hardwood floors. We have children so the traffic flow is constant and over time the floors get dingy. They're products leave the carpets and floors smelling fresh and good as new since they're products are low VOCs. Our carpets look like new and our 40 year old hardwood floors are left with a new satin finish and the dingy areas are all gone. There is no dust, and no strong fumes. You can walk on your wood floors within 2 hours. I highly recommend them. They are very efficient and professional and we have recommended them to our family and friends and they too continue to use them for their flooring maintenance needs. read more

My review and star rating is not based on the quality of carpet cleaning because they did a good job. I clean my carpets every 6 months and I didn't have big stains anywhere, but it was dirty from having a dog and general walking on it. So basically it was a typical lived on carpet that needed a clean. My review is on them not being up front with a couple of things. I first contacted them through yelp quotes - asking how much for a cleaning for a 2 bedroom apartment. They got back to me quickly and gave me a price. Later I called and made an appointment and again asked what the charges would be. They gave me the same price as the email from earlier. The day of the appointment the guy walked through then asked me what type of cleaning I wanted. Didn't know I had a choice - he said I could have a steam clean, but it would take 7-8 hours to dry OR I could have a dry clean that would take 2 hours to dry. He said the price was the same and the result would be the same. So, of course, one would choose the 2 hour right? After he finished I gave him his money and he said that since my carpets where "very dirty" that the price goes up by $30. WHAT? No one told me that the price was based on that. At the time of the 2 quotes someone should have said - if we find you're carpets to be extra dirty we may charge $30 more. But no one said that at all!! And when he first got to my place he never even mentioned that or even when he looked at my carpet he should have said - you know this may cost you more. I find this practice very deceitful. Also, that 2 hour dry time was total BS. He finished my carpets at 11am and they still were not dry at 8pm. There were even areas that were squishy wet 9 hours later!! I just think he didn't want to bring hoses up to the 3rd floor so I got fed a line about this quick drying time. Yes, my carpets got cleaned nicely, but please be up front with your business practice. I will not use this business again. read more

A friend referred me to Oscars, who has used him for years and has been extremely pleased with the services provided by Oscars. I was very happy with the process from start to finish. Very reasonable price negotiated over the phone. He arrived on time and was very friendly, courteous and professional. Recommended another option for securing rugs to the floor without using felt carpet and it has worked out great. Besides cleaning my two rugs as scheduled he also cleaned some very dirty chair cushions for a very reasonable price and the results were great. I have passed out out his cards to my friends and would highly recommend Oscars. I also received a quote for grout cleaning which was very reasonable and will schedule that in the future. read more

George arrived on time and did a great job, paying attention to details. We had a bit of miscommunication in the original quote, however, Kirk offered me a discount and handled the issue in quite a professional way. They are local and I feel I can trust them for future cleaning needs for sure! read more

My property manager gave me a free carpet cleaning upon renewal. I had inherited some cat poop stains on the carpet when I moved in. Hwan from Oscar's Carpet Care did a fantastic job of removing them! Thank you Hwan! read more

I really like this carpet cleaning company. They are fast + honest + gets everything off of your carpet. I have used them twice for my brand new house in santa clara. they got good references too in the area. The dispatcher, curt, is super nice + the guy who came to my house to clean used steam cleaning for everything and the total was only $250 for a 1700 sq ft townhouse! i def. would use them again. read more

We've used them twice on the recommendation of our leasing company and have been extremely extremely pleased each time! Our carpet is TERRIBLE! It's very cheap carpeting that shows just about every stain. They manage to get it looking new each time. Granted, after a few weeks it's showing wear again but it's A) the fact that I have two little messy girls and B) it's crappy carpeting with just about NO padding.. I will be using them again and again. I highly recommend them! read more

Called for an inquiry and didn't get an answer. A few hours later Craig? I think his name was, called me back and gave me an estimate and asked for photos of my rugs. I told him I would send them the following day. He took over 24 hours to get back to me after I sent the photos, and then once he did, I asked if they had availability this week. No response. Ended up going with Genesis Carpet Cleaning, and they did a fabulous job! read more

Fast, efficient service. Really nice technician. Got all the spots out of my carpet. What more is there...grin.

Very helpful and courteous. They did a wonderful job and their rates are unbeatable. Other cleaners were charging me almost twice of what Oscar's quoted. The price I payed was the price I was quoted. I am very happy with their service. I got it done 4 months back but was too lazy to write a review :) read more

I had read good reviews about this carpet cleaning company and had a lot of expectation. I was given a coupon by my leasing office and called them for a cleaning. The 2 bedroom apt was done in less than 30 min time. I carpet was not badly stained in the bedrooms but it was really dirty in the living area. after the cleaning I did not see much difference. The areas that were dirty still had the blackness in the carpet near the entry. My main purpose of asking for the carpet cleaning was to clean the entrance . I was not satisfied and called Kirk and he mentioned that the carpet are low quality and I should not expect a perfect cleaning. I had done carpet cleaning earlier in my previous apartments and they had done a very satisfactory job. The carpet looked excatly new after their cleaning. Would not call Oscar again for a service. read more

we recently moved into a condo and the carpets were extremely dirty, I called Oscars because I had seen their truck at our previous apartment complex so I thought I would try them out and I was really happy that I did. Not only did they schedule me in right away but they did such a good job the carpets looked brand new. The price was fantastic honestly I couldn't believe it and excellent customer service so nice and helpful. I recommend this company to anyone no matter how big or small of cleaning you may need. read more

The carpet looks very nice. Even though the driver was late, Kirk called to explain and apologize. :)

I just had Carlos and his associate out to clean my one-bedroom, heavily soiled apartment (two teenage boys, yuck!). Carlos was fantastic - professional, on time, thorough, everything you could want. Couldn't recommend more highly! read more

Kirk did an excellent job in cleaning my carpet at Santana Row. The best aspect of his service was that I found him to be courteous, trustworthy and honest. He is professional and telephoned post performance to follow-up and check up on the outcome. All spots were removed. He arrived early per our scheduled appointment. He was kind to assist with movement of personal items. He advised me on ongoing care of the carpet. Kirk is world class in all respects. It doesn't get better than that! read more

Kirk from Oscar's was awesome! I called him and we set an appointment for the very next day, which was much appreciated as my dog had decided to make our hallway his bathroom over the past month. Kirk was very professional and super friendly and didn't even mind that my dog was going nuts the whole time he was in our home. His prices are fair and he goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with his services. Our house is smelling great again and our carpets look amazing. Thanks again Kirk! read more
