Man were we wrong. Tried making a reservation via OpenTable on our walk over. After three attempts, all resulting in an error stating difficulty connecting with the restaurant we said f it, we were 5 minutes away, it was a Wednesday night, surely they wouldn't be that busy that a reservation would be necessary. Again, wrong. They weren't busy, yet they still required a booking. Why? So that they could force us to have a credit card on file before being seated. Again, why? The hostess was very nice. We were seated and greeted pretty quickly, although we did not find our waiter to be very welcoming. Ordered a G&G which also came relatively quickly, but tasted like it had zero alcohol in it. Disappointing considering the 13.50 price tag. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the surf and turf, medium. Everything came to the table surprisingly fast. Which is typically a good thing, but not when you order lobster and a steak. I immediately knew something was off then before even taking a bite. The lobster Mac, while it had large chunks of meat, was extremely bland and overall disappointing. The steak was medium rare, not medium like I ordered, but I didn't bother saying anything because I had no faith that it would be remediated appropriately. It was also the thinnest cut of steak I've ever paid almost 50.00 for. The lobster was very low on the meat, the claw had the biggest piece. The tail had minimal meat and as expected based on the time it took to "cook" it, was very chewy and bland. It felt like it was microwaved, which is the laziest and worst way to cook lobster. Our bill came to a little over 100 and was honestly not worth it. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

We ordered the Beef roll which were delicious. My husband ordered surf and turf while I had the macaroni and cheese with lobster. Both were absolutely wonderful after a long day of travel.

From the outside it's hard to tell what kind of burger place this is, but after stepping inside you…read morerealise how simple and relaxing the experience is going to be. Staff were extremely friendly as we made our way to the outside eating area (a nice touch on a hot summers day) and were told to order our food and drinks at the counter. They don't serve alcohol, which can be a blessing when not wanting to pay London prices for a quick beer with the meal. The menu is not loaded with choices, which usually means a simple selection done very well ans this place is no exception. After visiting a number of burger places in Central, you get used to ordering fries as an extra, but here they are included in the (very reasonable) price. We chose the veg burger with a side of onion rings, and the presentation was very American diner-esque (all food served in little baskets). The rings were massive and served piping hot. Burgers were great and served on a lovely fresh bun, with rustic fries on the side. The Oreo milkshake was fantastic and reasonably priced. £21 for two burgers, shakes, and a side to share is fantastic value for money and we will definitely be visiting again. For meat eaters out there, they also do three food challenges in a Man-v-food stylie so I'm sure it'll attract some of you big eaters out there.

We were not able to reserve a table online, for whatever reason I don't know. I rung the restaurant and was welcomed by premier inn (I believe they are connected) then pressed for the restaurant and was able to easily book a table for 6. We made a pre-order as we didn't have a long lunch break. Upon arrival, there was ample car parking and the restaurant is located in a spacious area. There are many tables, and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant at a round table with complimentary beefeater marked balloons. They have decor in line with their beefeater image, which I liked. The drinks menu offers a good selection including baileys hard-shake. We were served starters which was the chicken and ribs platter. This is usually for 3-4 ppl, but we managed to share between 6 without an issue, being all ladies . The sticky duck wings tasted good and I was not expecting that. The ribs were good, but I would have liked them coated in a little more sauce. All the food was presented well and our waitress was nice. I had the tasty smothered chicken melt for mains, but was unable to finish the triple cooked chips, which were seasoned well with chilli spice (upon request). The menu offers a lot of choices, so I can't wait to try a different dish and I think the pricing is fair. You definitely get your money's worth for the ribs and wings combo. They offer a day-time menu which is cheaper than the mains menu.
