Stopped by the store to add new fishing lines for my son's fishing rods. By chance, we had the…read morepleasure of bwing helped by Omar. As someone who is new to fishing we had lots of question. Omar was not only knowledgeable but was super friendly, patient and helpful. He got us set up and recommended the right additional accessories so my son can go fishing. He was amazing! Totally made our first visit super enjoyable. A knowledgeable store associate are a diem a dozen, but one who is friendly, patient and helpful are truly rare. If you are new to fishing and want a patient guide be sure to ask for Omar when you visit the store! As for the store, it is very neatly organized and has many fish tanks to keep the little ones entertained while one shops. We will be back for future fishing needs.

I had just come from Ramsey Outdoors where I bought a reel...After, I went and got a haircut. My barber, who also fishes said she just went to that new fishing store on 17. She said it was ok...so I go after my cut. I like Ramsey Outdoors, the selection and service are top notch and customer-centric. As I go in and I see people being greeted I was expecting the same. I DID NOT...I start looking around while everyone seems to be chatting behind counters and in the middle. No one says hi or welcome in or if I need help. I continue looking from one side of the store to the other and spend 10 minutes in there seeing people being helped and people behind the counter chatting it up. I saw some things I liked but nothing was priced. I get back toward the front and think what a shame customer service is crap here. I will never go back again and will make sure I let others know. To the owners of this place...People have choices and customer service goes a long way when trying to attract new ones. Apparently the place just opened as well. How hard is it to say hi, welcome in, do you need help? Guess it doesn't matter for me as I am never coming back or recommending this place when Ramsey Outdoors is just down the road.

Even though LL Bean is a company which supports DRUMPF, I still like shopping here because the…read moreproducts they make are high quality, look very good, have a very wide range, and because the store has a great policy when it comes to repairs, returns, and whatever your needs might be. Ridge hill is really inaccessable for most people, but I took a cab from Yonkers station so that made it a lot easier (it is technically possible to walk here from somewhere like Bronxville station, but will take about 45 minutes). After visiting the cheesecake factory, I popped in here and holy balls is this place big. I can totally understand why they don't have a store in Manhattan: to fit even half of their products into the average store size in the city would be impossible. They have kayaks and camping tents and stuff like that here, so a large space is absolutely necessary. I think that coming to the store, especially a store like LL Bean, can be superfluous in some ways in 2018, considering that everything that can be bought in this store can be bought online, and also considering that they're almost always sold out of bean boots, so the fastest way to get them would be to shop for them online. That said, for first time buyers, it may be a good idea to come to the store directly first before you become more of an online shopper. Bean boots in particular can be a little tricky, because they run kind of big, and coming into the store to try them on can be a big help. This LLB was especially helpful with my transaction, since I was shopping for shoes for my mom and got a size too big. I wound up losing my receipt, but luckily LLB was able to pull my info from the system based on my zip and my name, and told me I could bring the shoes into the store anytime for an exchange, or even a refund if I wanted. (FWIW, my mom wears a 38, which translates into a womens size 7- I bought a 6). Hats off to LLB.

Also, a great staff that answered all our questions on gift ideas. I can't wait to be back and grab some more summer gear!
