Because the wedding is during the day and on a Sunday, Justin C. suggested my husband try on a vest and long-sleeve shirt, suit pants and designer half boots to see if the outfit combination met our expectations. My husband looked amazing because of Justin C's fashion sense, so we bought all of it, suit jacket too. Here's the bummer news...Unfortunately, the suit jacket and pants needed to be altered, but the store's tailor is located in Atlanta, GA, which was not told to us when we bought the merchandise. We had to return the suit today because it won't be done in time for the wedding, something the store was surprised to learn after checking the status of our order. The store manager and regional manager worked so hard to meet our deadline, but no luck. We kept everything else on our receipt (vest, long-sleeve shirt, swanky boots.) it's a total bummer because the suit is gorgeous. IMPORTANT ADVICE: Do not use Jos A Bank for alterations. The dependency to have it shipped from Columbus, OH to Atlanta, GA is too great of a risk. Again, this is nothing against the Dublin, OH store. Thomas the store manager, Justin C., and all associates with whom we spoke over the phone were exceptional, kind and willing to help us. The other thing I think could use some tweaking is the set up with the sunglasses. Many of them have security tags on them which you have to be super careful with not to scratch the glasses with, and the mirrors above them are distorted like a fun house. It's very strange. I ended up having someone remove the tags to try on and walk to a different part of the store to look in a mirror which the staff was fine with and perfectly understanding about but it did create more work for them. Not sure what the solution is, and I will continue to buy sunglasses here due to the price despite the hassle but it would be better if there wasn't one.

Note to all you shoppers out there: be respectful and don't monopolize the attendant's time while you're still in the consideration stage. He was even kind enough to give me the location of sister stores, if I couldn't find what I needed there. I also find that to be a pleasant surprise, because most times, they will offer to order it for you and keep the commission. The particular day that I went and found the DXL at Polaris I discovered that the location of the store matters most definitely with inventory numbers and product. I was headed to Men's Wearhouse at Polaris not knowing there was a DXL there oh. I am so glad I went a couple blocks away and found this particular DXL. And the days the pandemic it is difficult, I believe, for businesses to have a legitimate and full staff. I walked into the store and it was packed honestly. I saw one lady working with customers and working and running around but I just thought there were other employees working! However, this lady, Stephanie, was the only employee working this particular day. I was in the store shopping trying things on and enjoying my experience for more than an hour and I will attest that this lady would be the best brand ambassador for DXL ever. The store only got busier over the course of time that I was there--and she never stopped. Stephanie created an impression upon me that now has me connected to the Polaris DXL. Her calming professional Style and ability to help everybody the way she did this day proves to me that she really does know what she's talking about and cares about each and every customer. I'm sure I witnessed all of this even though she is overworked and probably underpaid. The inventory in this store is larger greater than what I consider the inventory to be at the Olentangy Henderson Road store. Perhaps it's totally do two more square footage here at the Polaris store but it's definitely more appreciated Yes, as every retailer there are those specific sales and incentives to get you in the door and to get you to buy one that will encourage you to purchase more but it's still acceptable and encouraged for someone like me that has to spend thousands a year on clothing for play and for professional work. The cleanliness here in the dressing room area and in the area where shoes are found is unbelievably totally organized and cleaned beyond what I ever would have thought. Excellent customer service, but I do not think that it is professional to have a cashier having personal phone conversations, speaking loudly enough for customers to hear, especially using foul language. I ended up with a jacket, socks, and shirt for about half what I would have spent on a jacket at Men's Wearhouse, and since I only wear them once a year or so that's just right. Service was great from several staffers. Prices are great. I scoped the kid's section and was impressed, didn't get to the women's area, did notice plenty of men's casual wear up front.
