Small coffee shop, I only got to try the bear Madeline but it was rich and buttery, not too sweet. My friend said the spinach pastry is delicious and has Parmesan in it so it's good for lactose intolerance folks!

A wide open space with seating along the walls, there's tons of sunlight coming through their floor to ceiling windows. Service isn't quick, though I wouldn't call them slow either, and both employees I encountered that Sunday were very nice. They have cups to stay, but none for the food. I ordered a flat white with almond milk and a cute little bear financier. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and they have punch cards for frequent customers so I hope I'll be back!

Cute , classy hip-ster-ish coffe shop Only thing stopping it from not being a full on bushwick hipster coffe shop transplanted to sheepshead bay is ..... the aforementioned neighborhood:-) Quality coffee here and tasty quality Ingredients. They also have their blends for sale Artisinal foods on sale as well Stars taken off for the tight space which doesn't bode well for WFH folks Also that darn hipster coffee price :-( This is one ORSO that doesn't sleep all winter !

Orso Coffee is on the best coffee places at Emmons ave .Their prices are very good, cheaper than the other coffee shops. The girls working there are very friendly. They are quick and friendly and also making perfect coffee for visitors. They also server breakfast and other sides. This place has interior that allows visitors to sit, relax while enjoying their coffee.

Definitely DO NOT recommend this place. First, there's no restroom, it's ridiculous for a coffee shop. So basically my idea to stay and work there for a couple of hours failed. The place is also tiny. Wouldn't recommend as a remote work spot. Second, no ceramic cups as shows here on Yelp in the pictures. Only paper cups And on top of everything they sell mold-covered chocolate bars ($4.95 each by the way). They also served my cappuccino in a filthy dirty cup.

We stopped by for a latte while visiting friends in the area. My latte was beautiful and delicious. It was perfect temperature with nice silky foam. I would definitely come back when in Brooklyn. The cafe was very cute with nice art work. They have few tables and a counter by the window. It's a small place but nice if you want to grab a coffee and walk around the area.

This area does NOT have a coffee scene whatsoever. Orso is like...the only spot if you want coffee that isn't Dunkin' or from a bodega. It's good. Definitely quality. It's slightly expensive but that's as expected. They also have a small fresh pastry selection.

Bill S.

Remember when you can order a coffee and say "Light & Sweet"? If you do that today, you'll get strange looks. All I want is espresso that's not from a crappy chain place in Sheepshead Bay, I'm going to Orso Coffee. This is a little slice of Brooklyn heaven. There aren't too many coffee house in the area so Orso is a welcomed relief. I swung in coffee but I hate drinking a latte the first time at any new spot. I asked for a Flat White which is less milk in the morning. Macha? Pul-ease.. Once sip of my Orso coffee and I knew I was into something good. The roast was kinda mellow. Easy like Sunday Morning mellow. I bought a bag of beans to take home, its something I know my wife would enjoy. That Barista with glasses and beard? He was a mellow yellow man! I told him about latte is a no bueno and he hooked up my drink perfectly. Keep rockin' Orso!

Had terrible experience at this joint. Bearded guy at the counter with glasses doesn't know customer service from a hole in the wall. I was with regular customer friends and he literally asked us to leave because we used a chair that apparently blocked the passage way for strollers. Incredibly rude and arrogant behavior made all of us not to come back for good. read more

So happy our neighborhood has this good tasting coffee spot now. They do a great job providing fast service & I think that their loyalty punch card system is great. I do wish they had more breakfast food options though! Unlike other coffee serving spots on sheepshead Bay that taste like cheap coffee mixed with water, I'm happy to pay more here where I know my tastebuds will be satisfied. Great job guys! read more

I've wondered for years when this neighborhood will finally start serving good coffee and have a fun coffee shop!!! I tried Orso and was so delighted that I found delicious cold brew, cappuccinos with amazing froth, a flat white to die for, and more yummy coffee and espresso based drinks. They even have espressos on tap. Welcome Orso, I'll be coming back for my daily coffee fix!!!!!! read more

I was very happy to find out that our neighborhood got a new coffee place,so I went to check it out. The place has a very small selection in a first place. Then the large cup for a cappuccino looked like small and when I asked to use the bigger cup they told me that the bigger cup is for latte only. The small and large cappuccino came out $10 and when we tried coffee it seemed like a latte which is a bunch of milk abs very little coffee. I am very dissapointed because the product doesn't meet the price. Not coming back again. read more

This place is AMAZING! The atmosphere is very hip with copper accessories and a very cool mural painted on the wall by a local artist friend. The counters are marble, and very sleek. They offer coffees, teas and speciality drinks, as well as desserts. The frozen hot chocolate is OUTRAGEOUS! Love this place and will be coming back soon. I used to drive out here from mill basin cause the coffee is far superior to anything else in Brooklyn. The reason for the review is the disgusting service I received here from a the gentleman working (I use the term very loosely). I ordered coffee and their brownie. The brownie was rock hard so I asked if they're all like that. With a look of disgust the person at the counter exchanged the brownie while mumbling something under his breath. When I received my cappuccino, he managed to make a picture of a white penis on the froth. I'm disgusted and will never return again. read more

Quaint coffee shop uncharacteristic of other Sheepshead establishments. Lots of natural light - cozy with a soft ambiance. Very good coffee and service (five stars) minus half a star for no restroom (adding same half star back because dogs are welcome). Prices not exorbitant, but higher than neighborhood average - on par with ditmas park / park slope, etc. Recommendation is to stick to the traditional coffee / tea / espresso-based drinks and to stay away from frivolously priced items in the fridge. read more

What a complete shame. A good company ruined by unprofessional, untrained, hood rat staff. I work in the area near by and my company often order our coffee from here. I've even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Rita a few times during her grand opening. Unfortunately after my last visit I will not only not be returning, but I will be recommending all of our staff to not return. A co worker and I stopped by for our morning coffee, and the gothic girl in the front with really trashy tattoos and a nose ring had the snottiest attitude. After we got our change she had the nerves to say "it's rude not to tip". Are you kidding me ? When my co worker and I ignored her, she sucked her teeth and mumbled something under her breathe. I won't repeat what it was but It was a racial remark.(my colleague is of color). I am so disgusted. It sucks to say but that we won't be returning. I suggest for other patrons to go to other coffee shops in the area, as there are plentiful. read more

I used to come to come here all the time. Today I came in for an iced espresso. I got a small cup that was half full. This included 3 shots and half&half for 7$!! I asked for a little more cream and the young girl LITERALLY rolled her eyes at me. She also looked about 15 years old and was wearing booty shorts with her ass hanging out! It's rich, smooth, and the caramel has that real toasted, brûléed depth instead of just tasting like sugar syrup. Genuinely delicious. A couple of honest notes: the space is on the small side, so it's more of a grab-and-go than a settle-in-and-work kind of spot. And the staff were a little reserved, friendlier service would go a long way toward matching the quality of what's in the cup. That said, I'd still come back for the coffee. When a latte is this good, it earns the shout-out 3 stars, and I'm rooting for that fifth one.

I think I found the best coffee in Bay Ridge!…read more You have to understand my morning. I live in Stony Brook so when the stars are aligned and there is no traffic on the Belt I can order a great cuppa coffee before work. I park across the street and was the first one in the small establishment. I see two gents hustling behind the counter and zero in on the baked goods. I'm not understanding the spiced lattes but after a few times, I'll try the Cardamom latte but for now I'm sticking with a Flat White and a freshly baked croissant. The flat white I ordered? Perfecto. If a good cup of coffee costs the same as a chain coffee slop they serve to the masses, I'll take a well crafted coffee from Clockface Coffee to start my day. Hopefully, if the traffic is light on the Belt Parkway, I can stop by in the morning. I grew up in Canarsie but all the great local places I keep finding by the job, Bay Ridge rocks!

The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered an iced Matcha and an iced peanut butter latte with oat milk. I absolutely loved my peanut butter latte! My sister really enjoyed her Matcha because it wasn't overly sweet, which is exactly how she likes it. We stayed for a bit to sip our drinks before heading out. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try another latte. The café itself is adorable and has a cozy atmosphere.
