Pub Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos and Veggie Burger
Kishi M.

Great Location Good Ambience Good Service Decent Food The place is a sports bar with lots of TV screens and good seating.... Ordered Pub Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos and Veggie Burger with Mexican Street Corn as an appetizer.. and Sangria for drinks... The Mexican Street corn was delicious... everything else was decent.. The service was good and prompt, polite.. May come back to try some more items like wings and the Noodle Bowl..

Orrange is the place where you want to consume lots of calories!! Mmm! We ordered a bunch of food for two. Drinks, yam fries, greens and dessert. Orrange is very similar to Cactus or Earls. I like all of them equally. Orrange has clean washrooms, nice staff and good food. I enjoyed my yam fries. They were made fresh. Then we got the Brownie Sundae to share. It was a bit too sweet for me but I can see people enjoying this treat. It comes in a big old fashioned bowl that's good for 2! I'll come back again if I'm in the area.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had happy hour! And it was so nice to be reminded about this golden hour where you chill with friends or coworkers over some drinks and food specials! And it's a bonus when to find out Orrange is conveniently located in the tricities - outside of downtown too and have free unlimited parking! A lot of their menu item seems to have an Asian flavour influence to them. We ordered Pineapple Wok Squid + Hot BBQ Chicken Wings + Chili & Lime Chicken. All had good portion and decent prices off the happy hour menu. My favourite was their patio area where they have a dining table side and a more relaxed lounge side with patio chairs to choose. You can even bring your pup in to dine with you in the patio!

I've passed by Orrange several months. Finally went in with the kids for dinner. Maybe a little understaffed, because it took a few minutes before anyone noticed that we were waiting for a table. After we finally got a table, the waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered the baby back ribs, steak, and house salad. The ribs were tasty and a little spicy. The steak came with baked brussel sprouts, which were really good. The menu had a lot of good options. They also have daily drink specials, as well as early and late night happy hours. Not the best restaurant, but definitely worth another visit.

The best caesar

My friend and I chose to meet here for lunch specifically after seeing a photo online of this amaaazing looking caesar. When we ordered it, the server informed us it was no longer on the menu, but since we'd driven so far just for it, she still made it for us! Excellent customer service, great patio, food was delicious, and the caesar was just as amazing as it looked online. Will definitely return!

This place is great! Breakfast for $8.95 before 11:30? Where on earth can you get that besides a dive bar in Kansas? The breakfast came out faster than a McDonalds drive thru and it was fresh and oh so tasty. The drinks were cheap and the service was great. Breakfast is definitely a do-over here.

Afternoon bite. Wine by the glass was terrible. Replaced with beer. Food was pretty good, but not a home run. Had the hot wings, Maui ribs, tortilla soup, and street burger. Service was prompt. Nothing special. Server was relatively pleasant and quick Hot wings were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Not overly saucy. Maui Ribs were really tough to chew and lacking a lot of flavour. Portions are fair for the appetizers. Burger was really well cooked. Not dry at all. Almost seems handmade but didn't ask. The tortilla soup was not good at all. It might be a very different recipe but just seemed fusion or something. Seemed like they have a pretty good happy hour special. Check it out for sure.

After weeks of trying to get together for dinner, we finally found ourselves on the perfectly shaded patio at Orrange on a sunny summer evening. For whatever reason I was less excited when I saw the menu in person than when I first browsed it online; nothing looked appetizing. I eventually decided on the aloha tuna salad, which was an almost hearty follow-up to the salt & pepper wings. (I don't know why I always expect American-sized wings to be served.) Other than the company, the best part was the flourless brownie that made it a truly indulgent night with the girls. I'm not sure if I'd come back for the same menu, but brunch is never off the table!

now we're talking :)

Food is decent, but pricey. The menu gets pretty boring after a few visits. Decor and vibe in the restaurant are unique enough.

Tables were moving in and out pretty quickly. I was really happy to see a $10 appetizer section. Tried the mushroom caps and risotto balls and loved them both! They also have a great cocktail list. Was definitely not expecting for a live magician to be there! He walked around and performed tricks for each individual table, how fun!! The daily events they have and the speakeasy ambiance make this bar truly stand out as a gem. Prices are quite reasonable as well.

Checked this place out finally with some friends after hearing about it a lot. The website…read morerecommends reservation, so we had a reservation and was given a password to enter. The place is quirky and on theme. The servers were all dressed up according to the theme as well. They were courteous and offered us free Prosecco since the bartender was delayed to arrive due to traffic. The cocktails were really good - I had an old fashioned and a negroni. I would've liked more fancier cocktails for the price though. One thing about the place is that the tables are quite close to each other so it can get a bit louder as the night progresses. Maybe fewer tables with shorter time slots might be a good idea. We only tried the stuffed mushroom caps and it was delicious. The program of the night was a magic show. The magician was witty and had quite a few tricks up his sleeve. I would like to check out the psychic reading in future too!

Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse, Riverway Restaurant and Mintara currently has a new 3 course Summer…read moremenu available Wednesday to Sunday evenings for $45/person. Included is a Summer Corn salad, choice of entree, and daily dessert. I made a reservation for my Mom and I for Wednesday evening at 7pm and the restaurant was quite empty though golf course was buzzing. Pro tip: There is free parking in front of the restaurant but it's also for the golf course and is pretty busy even on a Wednesday after 7pm so plan accordingly as street parking is a bit far away. We ordered the mussels as an additional appetizer in white wine broth and also each ordered the $45 menu. We both selected the Oven Roasted Beef Striploin and for dessert there was a choice of cheesecake with caramel sauce, cinnamon cheesecake, and black forest cake. My Mom chose the black forest cake and I ordered the cinnamon cheesecake. The mussels appetizer dish was quite generous in quantity for $23 and mussels were a good size. Served with 2 slices of toast, the white wine sauce was more watery than other places but still decent. For the $45 course, the Summer Corn salad comes with artisan greens, feta, carrot, radish, tomato, red onion, orange vinaigrette. This was a refreshing light start to the meal and we both really enjoyed it. For the slow roasted beef striploin, it was served with asparagus and bell peppers, mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a red wine demi. The beef striploin was lean but not tough and was super trendy and juicy. Yorkshire pudding, which I'm usually not a fan of, was really warm and soft. Overall, a really solid dish that was generous in portion. Dessert was also solid for both the cinnamon cheesecake and black forest cake. We barely finished the dessert and both of us had leftovers of our entree to take home as we couldn't finish our food. Great value for a 3 course $45 meal for today's economy and the service was really friendly and warm.
