Cons: Prices a bit high, gunsmith starts at about $70 hr but they do have the tools and the hands for the job.

The Range Safety Officers are phenomenal, so helpful and you feel safe at all times. Renting is easy and the expert knowledge at the desk is amazing, regardless of what your skill level is they're helpful and will always give you guidance, suggestions, and honesty (like that one may have too much kick for you) lol! If you are coming here though, the number one thing to know.... if you get cold easily, WEAR A SWEATSHIRT! I am always cold, but these ranges are freezing, FYI! In general, it's best to wear pants, long sleeves, a hat (personally), nothing low cut, and of course closed toe shoes. They have sales all the time on guns and ammo, though I wouldn't personally suggest buying those things here - come here for the range but in my opinion buy your guns and things elsewhere because they do tend to be pricier than others. Though as always, do your research! :)

We both paid for our own separate lanes, expecting to have a fair opportunity to shoot and enjoy the experience. However, not even 10 minutes into our shooting session, we were told that we had to give up the lanes we had already paid for so they could be given to someone else. I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As paying customers, we should not have to cut our shooting time short to accommodate other customers, especially when we had barely gotten started. What makes this even more frustrating is that we paid for a service and weren't given a reasonable opportunity to enjoy what we paid for. Customer service and fairness should be a priority, and unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression. I would definitely think twice before spending my money here again.

5 Stars Title: The Ultimate Gun Shop in Clermont -…read moreEverything Your Gun-Toting Heart Could Possibly Want! Gun Dog Armory in Clermont, Florida is hands-down the best firearms destination in Central Florida. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't just another gun store -- it's a true one-stop shop where "if they don't have it, you don't need it." The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They greeted me right away, took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and gave honest, expert advice without any pushy sales tactics. These guys clearly live and breathe firearms and love helping customers. Their selection is insane -- handguns, rifles, AR platforms,, 300 blackout, you name it. They carry everything you could possibly need, plus suppressors, an on-site gunsmith for custom builds and repairs, and they do professional Cerakote finishes right there. I walked in thinking I'd just grab a couple of items and left with everything on my list plus a few smart upgrades I didn't even know I needed. The shop is clean, well-organized, and the prices are super competitive. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a seasoned shooter, or just need gunsmith work done, this place delivers on every level. Gun Dog Armory has officially ruined me for every other gun shop. I'll be back again and again (and probably dragging my buddies next time). If you're anywhere near Clermont, do yourself a huge favor and stop in. You won't leave disappointed -- 5 stars all the way!

Ran a bunch of cheap ammo through it and had nothing but jams, double feeds, unspent ammo stuck in barrel, bolt sticking shut, etc etc. Somehow managed to break my ejection port dust cover spring all in one day at the range. I called up and was told " just bring it in". I get there and the first thing I see is Shawn helping someone with a minor repair because the gentleman just didn't have the right size tool. He fixes it on the spot and sends him on his way, No Charge!! Next I'm up and Shawn was so nice, he listened to me lament about how I bought a cheap rifle cause it's all I could afford, I think I bought a dud, blah blah blah. Shawn didn't talk down to me about buying cheap stuff or make me feel like more of a noob than I already did. He just looked it over, said I need a day or 2 to figure this out. Don't worry I'll get her shooting. I went to pick up my rifle, we had a laugh at how bad the corrosion and build up he found in the barrel was for only shooting 90 rounds. He had fixed my dust cover spring, cleaned and polished the barrel out, and a bunch of other stuff. The repair charge was so minimal it was basically free!!! Took it to the range and blew through 200 rounds of brass ammo not one single failure or malfunction. Whatever magic he worked was a miracle!! I am a customer for life now. Please support this Gun Shop. They are THE BEST around. Thank you Shawn and everyone at Always Armed!!!
