5 Stars Title: The Ultimate Gun Shop in Clermont -…read moreEverything Your Gun-Toting Heart Could Possibly Want! Gun Dog Armory in Clermont, Florida is hands-down the best firearms destination in Central Florida. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't just another gun store -- it's a true one-stop shop where "if they don't have it, you don't need it." The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They greeted me right away, took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and gave honest, expert advice without any pushy sales tactics. These guys clearly live and breathe firearms and love helping customers. Their selection is insane -- handguns, rifles, AR platforms,, 300 blackout, you name it. They carry everything you could possibly need, plus suppressors, an on-site gunsmith for custom builds and repairs, and they do professional Cerakote finishes right there. I walked in thinking I'd just grab a couple of items and left with everything on my list plus a few smart upgrades I didn't even know I needed. The shop is clean, well-organized, and the prices are super competitive. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a seasoned shooter, or just need gunsmith work done, this place delivers on every level. Gun Dog Armory has officially ruined me for every other gun shop. I'll be back again and again (and probably dragging my buddies next time). If you're anywhere near Clermont, do yourself a huge favor and stop in. You won't leave disappointed -- 5 stars all the way!

I haven't visited the stores yet so no comment on that. I will comment on their website though…read more It's not good. I search for 9mm - I get red dots and long guns. Ross, Jacob, Patrick, and the rest of the gang at the Armories always go the extra mile to assist their customers. I placed an AR-15 on layaway at The Armory in Kissimmee, Florida, because I specifically wanted…read morethat particular firearm. Shortly after placing it on layaway, I had to unexpectedly travel back to Ohio due to a family situation. Because of these circumstances, I missed the 90-day layaway deadline. I explained my situation to the staff at The Armory, and I was told that there would be no problem. I continued making monthly payments toward the firearm, believing that my layaway agreement was still in good standing. When I eventually went to pick up the firearm, I was informed that it had been removed from my layaway. What was most disappointing was that no one contacted me to let me know that the firearm had been removed or that there was an issue with my layaway. Had I received a simple phone call, I could have discussed the situation with the store and considered other options. I specifically wanted that particular firearm, and by the time I learned what had happened, it was no longer available. I was also informed that I could not receive a full refund because of a 20% restocking fee based on the original price of the firearm. I understand that businesses have policies and that layaway agreements may have deadlines. However, I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I continued making payments after explaining my circumstances to the store, and I was never notified that the firearm had been removed from my layaway. I believe that a simple phone call explaining that the firearm was being removed and discussing my options would have been a much more reasonable and customer-friendly approach.
