Orlando has a Skate Park? I suppose that I wouldn't have known this since the last time I was on a skateboard I was probably 5 years old. But after visiting it, I wish I had stuck with it. It's now managed by a professional skateboard business called Action Park Alliance and I would say that they're doing a pretty good job. The pro shop is decked out boards, clothing, shoes and everything in between. A neat shop even if you're not riding that day. This is also where you pay and from what I can tell it's not too pricey. For a 2 or 3 hour session it's $6.50. If you'd like to ride all day it's $15 and if you're a die-hard enthusiast they offer monthly and yearly packages. Girls, you're in luck. It's free for us to go everyday all day. They do have specials too. On Tuesdays from 2pm-5pm it's free for boys. Tuesday nights, it's College Night so as long as you have a valid college ID it's half off. Thursday nights, it's Old Man Night which means that if you're license says you're over 25 you will also receive a half off discount. Lessons are available and if you need to rent safety gear, which is a requirement to ride, they have whatever you may need. And because this is a dangerous hobby, you have to be 18 go or have your parent sign a waiver if you are younger. From what I saw, they have a beginner's area, a big flow course and a bowl. Not that I know what that means in terms of difficulty, but nonetheless, that's what they offer. And after you work up an appetite you can head to their full-service concession stand. Similar to a ball park, they offer hamburgers, corn dogs, chips, candy, soda, etc.

A great place for kids to skateboard. Staff is nice and they keep it really clean. Can't beat the price either!

I love that they have bathrooms on site and are actually clean lol-- so big plus there! Also I appreciated that the play ground had this squishy bouncy floor that is great for kids running or babies playing-- I believe it helps to prevent injury. This really is a great park! My two cons: the huge lack of shaded areas, and they had a few water fountains but the water was hot and dirty/cloudy looking. And bring in Florida, shade and water are two of the most important things in my opinion lol-- so just be prepared.

Covered playground with (I believe it's called) "rubber mulch." Safe for Littles because they can't eat any pebbles or real mulch. IMMACULATE bathrooms lol I was honestly surprised because public restrooms are usually bad or just okay, but these look and smell like they are sprayed down daily with chlorine/cleaner. There is also a Skate Park next to the soccer fields. 2 parking lots, paved paths, and a small fenced drainage area where you can occasionally see ducks and alligators.

Cady Way Park is a park with a lot going on, but I'm here strictly for pickleball--and from a…read morepickleball player's perspective, this place is very well organized. There are 8 pickleball courts total, and they're divided by skill level, which makes a huge difference in play quality: First 3 courts (far left): Beginner courts Middle 3 courts: Intermediate play Last 2 courts (far right): Challenge courts The challenge courts run winner-stays-on, so it's always 2 on / 2 off. If you plan on playing there, you'll want to be around a 3.75 DUPR or higher to really enjoy it--and I highly recommend bringing a partner. The competition is legit, fast-paced, and not very forgiving for casual drop-ins. There's also 1 tennis court, and all the pickleball courts have lights, which makes evening play possible and popular. Timing matters a lot here: Best weekday time: around 4:00 PM By 6:30 PM, it can get extremely busy--sometimes to the point where wait times are so long that you won't get much actual play in. Overall, if you're serious about pickleball and want structured, competitive games, Cady Way is a great spot. Just know your skill level, pick the right courts, and time your visit wisely.

Such a scenic little park that seems very well maintained and super walkable. With the fountains, sports fields and courts, open plots for pets and green space, this park really has it all. We were walking around this park for about an hour just taking it all in while we were doing puzzles and I have to say that the park was better than the escape room. If me and my friend had just come to the park without the escape room, we would've liked it just as much. It was great to check this park out and next time I am in town, I will definitely hang out here again.
