What a beautiful park, lots of shade!

Bathrooms, tables, big playground. Loved it! Multiple areas and lots of swings. The trees are the best part.

I'm a huge fan of Paradise Park. Its easy to miss since it's tucked off of Highway 27 and in a wooded area. I missed it on my first trip around and after a u-turn realized that it shares the parking area of SkyZone. The trees that appear to hide the park are a great benefit. The shade and protection from the Florida sun is nice. The huge wooden structure is relatively safe and offers a lot of imaginative play. There are two play areas that are separated from each other. One is for children under three and the second area is for 3 and up. There are numerous slides, swings and different areas to climb. I was impressed that both sides had a handicap swing.

Just a taste of the awesomeness that is this park!

What a wonderful park from Leatherman and Assoc.! I found them in Arcadia, FL (Jim Space Park) St. Augustine, (Project SWING park) and Discovery Park (Tarpon Springs) This place was AWESOME! I wish we showed up earlier in the afternoon so I could get some good pictures, but this place is definitely kiddo-bucket-list-worthy.

This has to be my favorite park in Clermont! It's nice and hidden, and under plenty of mature trees that offer tons of shade. The playground is large and is a classic wooden structure with a treehouse-like theme. I think that's what makes the kids really use their imagination. It's not modern, but it evokes that nostalgia of when kids used to really play outside. There's a separate mini version of the playground for toddlers, and lots of gymnastic style structures so kids can strengthen their core, practice their balance, climb ladders, a rock wall, nets, etc. There's plenty of slides, steps, swings, and open space. It's also a cute place to take pics with the kids!

Paradise park is so freaking cool! It's a "tree house" themed playground. The structure is made out of real wood and it feels like you're apart of a novel. There is a toddler area for the smaller kids and a full blown playground for the bigger kids. It is completely covered with rubber mulch (no dirt, or rocks) aka no messy kids mommy. The only thing is that it is pretty quiet and hard to find. So, if someone doesn't tell you about this part there is no way of you finding it. It is tucked way in the back behind a church.

My son loves this park. It was recommended by friends and it's great with the big trees for coverage and lots of things for all ages. Lately I've noticed it needs some major rehabs. The real wood parts are starting to crumble, musical instruments are missing their things to work, the whole thing needs a coat of paint and most recently the bottom to a bridge is coming undone exposing pinch points and sharp, rusty screws. Especially with Summer camps coming here, these things need to be fixed before someone is hurt.

I had a group meet up here for a fun time of food and games. This was my first time at this park…read moreand overall a good experience. Apparently, the pavilions are first come first served. A sweetheart from the group arrived at 6 am and was able to secure a nice pavilion on the lakeside, adjacent to the restrooms and across from plenty of parking. The pavilion come with a grill (we didn't use) and a large trash bin nearby. The area had a few trees around and was nicely shaded, this made the combination of good weather result in a really good experience. There is a nice trail for walking, hiking and cycling. Near the parking, there is a play area for children and a fenced dog park area. Overall, I thought I had a good experience and think that it is a fabulous area. I do hope to get back out here at some point in the future.

Lake Hiawatha Preserve Park - Frisbee Golf (Disc Golf Course)…read more Finally, a legit 18-hole disc golf course near Clermont, Florida. It's also a great place to bring your dogs! They have a nice fenced in area to let your dogs mingle and play with other dogs off the leash and there's a trail and some back country you can take them and run with. The good: - Solid mix of wooded technical holes and a few open bombers around the lake. Holes 4-8 along the water are gorgeous, especially at sunset. - Tee pads are concrete and in great shape (huge upgrade from the old rubber mats). - New Mach X baskets catch well and the bright yellow bands make them easy to spot. - Multiple pin positions on several holes keep it fresh -- they move them every few months. - Free parking, clean porta-potty near hole 1, and the course flows really well. Rarely any backups even on weekends. The "eh": - Can get soggy after rain (bring boots in spring). A couple fairways hold water like a sponge. - Hole 13's long position is a total prayer across the marsh -- fun once, frustrating the other 19 times. Highly recommend for intermediate and up. Beginners might get humbled on the back 9, but that's how we all learn! Will keep coming back. 4.5 stars rounded down only because mother nature still wins sometimes.
