Was recommended by a friend to try. It was quiet and chill the day I went which was nice. The coconut shrimp was def the star. I really liked being able to taste the coconut on it. The pad kee mao was pretty good too with chewy noodles and a good sauce. It was pretty quick to order and get our food. When I first there, I wasn't sure if I should wait for someone help greet me or just sit wherever so it was a little awkward but overall good experience.

Salmon with vegetables and teriyaki sauce. Look how gorgeous it is. I didn't have this my friend had it, but it looked so good.

The service was good. Parking is a little tight. Not impossible to park. The food came pretty quick. There was four of us. The bill was like $85.

I had never been to this restaurant before and now have been here three times. I came here with friends expecting to get quality food and a quiet atmosphere that we could enjoy and have a conversation. I was not disappointed! The service was excellent, the Tom Yum was very tasty and I will be coming back really soon! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great location with sufficient parking - in the plaza right off of Sunnyside Rd and across from the hospital. We were looking for some Thai food and although we had received negative reviews from friends about their prior experiences, we wanted to give Original Thai BBQ a shot! The tofu pad see ew was DELICIOUS! Very rich flavor. Also, friendly service! The space had a really fresh and classy atmosphere with cute decor. During our visit, however, someone might have been messing with the lighting - the lights in the restaurant dimmed and changed intensity multiple times. I made confused eye contact with other curious customers too, but the lighting issue resolved itself. At around 4:30p on a Monday evening, there was no wait time and decent availability for tables. Overall, a lovely dining experience.

We came by right after opening on an overcast Sunday. We were the first hungry people in for lunch. There's not a lunch menu on Sunday, so we ordered off the regular menu. I ordered the lemongrass chicken, another of our group the crispy basil and another the red curry with chicken. Our table also ordered the shrimp salad rolls. All our dishes were wonderful and the salad rolls very fresh. Leftovers were brought home and I recommend this great Thai place. We'll return and try something else from their menu.

You walk in to a cute dining area- mismatched tables and chairs that work together! Order at the counter, get your drinks and either sit in or outside at picnic tables. Then wait for some of the best bbq in Portland. The brisket is fork tender, the chicken tacos are smothered in great slaw and pickled onions, the bbq beans have large chunks of meat and the smoked slaw has just the right amount of dressing on it - not swimming in mayo like other places. Inhale your food while trying to keep your table mates away from yours! Like the tables and chairs all the food served in comes in very cute mismatched dishes. I'll be back to try the Mac & cheese (sold out), smoked pickles and the key lime pie.

The restaurant became busy a few minutes after we came in, but he handled the rush perfectly. The food didn't take long and my only complaint is honestly, I wish the cornbread was served warm. The mac bites were so cheesy and the breading was the right amount of crispy. The ribs themselves were not fatty and the selection of BBQ sauces was perfect--I loved the yellow bottle. The mashed potatoes were perfect as well. I just added a bit of salt and pepper and thought they were delish, they were just chunky enough. I attempted to untie the bag at the restaurant and check the order but the cashier hurried me out of the store instead. 4) I attempted 3 times to contact the management by phone and email and was completely ignored. The inari sushi were delicious and the tofu pockets were packed with ingredients which justifies the price and cost. They didn't even skim out of the amount of pickled ginger and wasabi! The tofu pockets had a light yet pleasant taste which did not overpower the taste and freshness of the fish. The buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of heat to it, and the blue cheese really brings the whole thing together. My boyfriend got the Scarface, he's a huge fan of the crack sauce, and the sandwich is huge! Once again perfectly breaded chicken, and A TON of onion rings. So many onion rings he couldn't even finish them all. He loved the slaw (he's super picky about it too). The bread also managed to hold the whole sandwich together which was impressive in itself. And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious.
