My husband and I thought long and hard before posting this review, but we felt obligated to let people know. We looked at the reviews that were posted and realized that the company had another account a few years ago where the reviews were not all 5 stars. That account must have been deleted. This company will actually pay you to leave a good review, which I was offered a few years back. In good conscience I would not accept the offer. We manage a small complex in town, and the owners decided to try this company again. So we called and booked them for some repairs in a vacant unit. Now let me say, for the most part the work is ok. However, after replacing a door stop and adjusting the front door, it had an annoying loud squeaking sound. My husband decided to text Rob and ask him just to come back and adjust it so it would not squeak and to also finish a few things we asked them to do that were left undone. This is the reply Rob sent back to my husband. (XXXX, to be quite candid with you. I dont want to go back for that front entry door issue. There is no money in that. No offense. But this is all about money. I took care of most of the items on the list. I will bill what weve done and when you have a task with more meat on the bone i will return,  if you choose to call us. Thank you.) We were both appalled after reading this. First of all it would have taken mere minutes to make the adjustment to a job that was not done properly or the door would not be squeaking. Second they did not finish the job with all the things we asked them to do. So his text doesn't make sense, because actually there was more work to be done. So just beware if you don't have a large amount of work they don't want to come, and they don't want to make it right if there is a problem because "there's no money in it for them" if they have to come back and make it right. Skip over this company and just hire someone who will do the job no matter how small or how large. Word of advice for the company, work is work. Most people want the work, if you actually DO the work then you don't have to offer a payment, gift card or discount to get a 5 star review. This is unprofessional and speaks for itself Hey XXXX, thanks for thr great review on Yelp So sad bro. That honesty offends you. When the world is full of lies. But hey listen, bussiness is all about money. One day perhaps you will understand that. I will not be billing the ( okay ) work that we did. They clean up great, cant even tell they were here. I would also like to add that they were working at my place when my dog Bella had a Grand Mal seizure. They took the time to care for her until my sister could arrive. I was at work when this happened, they called me right away and my sister was able to rush over and get Bella to the vet. The doctors told us that Hugo and Mario saved her life! If they were not here and did what they did to care for her, Bella would no longer be with us. Would you believe this? I have never ever reviewed anyone on Yelp. So, in other words, I am writing a first review and that too for a great team of Original Craft Handymen: Robert and Mario. I have known Robert and Mario for past several years from our business encounter. We did the graphics on their vans. They appreciated my input in making the work more elegant. At that time, I decided I would use their services if and when the need arises. Fortunately, till now I didn't have to make that call for help! Last week, I had a shower control valve related issue and believe me I am the last person to put a wrench to a plumbing problem, since the wrench would end up being the first tool from the tool box followed by many, many more weird ones. My friends suggested it could be as simple as a cartridge replacement or cutting up the shower enclosure to replace, cut, weld and much, much more behind the wall. I picked up the phone and called Robert. He was in the middle of a hotel renovation project, but promptly showed up next morning. He diagnosed the problem, quickly went to a local plumbing supply store, got replacement parts (lucky for me - last one on hand of that old Pfister cartridge). I still can't believe that all that service call cost me was the price for that replacement part and "NO CHARGE" for the service call! I still can't believe it. He breaks away from his busy schedule, drives to my home in morning rush hour traffic, takes care of my problem and doesn't charge me for doing all that! We recently rented a duplex in orange. The home wasn't "move-in ready" and needed some work after we moved in. The property management company hired original craft to come fix garage lights, doorbells, and outlet issues. Hugo and his partner (I didnt catch his name) are seriously the most professional company I've ever had the privilege of working with. They were always of time, and are incredibly flexable with my busy work schedule. They fixed my door bell, and garage light issues in 20 minutes. On a completely diffrent note for the ladies out there. I never once felt uncomfortable being alone in my home with Hugo and his employee. Over the years of being a renter I have unfortunately experienced unprofessional "handyman" that made me very uncomfortable. But not these guys, two stand up men who do a great job! If there was a one-time option to give another star I would have used it now. Im a General Contractor in Fountain Valley and in the midst of a project pulling me in many directions it came to me that my subs were not going to cut it and I needed HELP. I found these guys in a parking lot one day when I accidentally spotted their space shuttle that is apparently also a work van, so I kept their contact info. Good thing I did because I contacted them with a list of what needed to be done to see if maybe they could help and not only did they have fair pricing but they were able to perform all the work and come out FAST. They knocked off everything on my list, plumbing, tiling, electrical, framing, drywall, etc. Their superb work was only matched by their attention to every detail, taping the floors and walkways off, picking up every speck of dirt, not leaving a trace behind and keeping a friendly atmosphere in the air for my client. If you're a GC, or a homeowner, Real Estate company, take my word for it these guys are PROFESSIONAL. I did not expect this level of dedication to the craft. Usually, my subs get in, get out, leave at least a little mess, maybe knick a wall... I'm used to that and prepared to clean up after. I did not have to lift a finger. They know what they are doing, and aren't afraid to say if there is something they don't. We even had one instance where I mistook the part was installed and thought they installed one I didn't ask for, but before I could correct myself they were ready to swap it out on their behalf. Are you kidding me?? Anyone else would have said "hey you asked for this man" I don't usually write reviews of this length but I feel that good, honest work needs a spot light these days. In short, these guys are: * Extremely Prompt * Professional * Detail Oriented * Thorough * FAST * Respectful * Trustworthy * Skilled * Experienced * Reasonable Lastly I will state this, with any skilled tradesman you can usually expect 2 of three things: Cheap, Fast, Quality. These guys are not the cheapest guys out there, but for all the hassle and mundane coordination saved, the delicacy in carrying out the task and undeniable attention to detail and doing a good job, it's honestly worth paying the extra. For what could be saved with a cheaper guy may not be worth the potential loss from an inexperienced mistake, or the ability to truly focus on the next task at hand without worrying about what Joe Fix It might be breaking, stealing or damaging. Was in need of a handyman to fix a couple of issues I had in one of my condos after my renters left. I jumped on my trusty yelp app and found these guys. I initially had them come out for fix a hanging door and a running toilet. Rep came by and checked out my condo and quoted me a price and let me know they could get fixed the same day. Awesome got it done and also discovered some mold on the bathroom wall that was being caused by a leaky pipe behind the wall. I had used another handyman service to fix this problem before but I guess it wasn't done correctly and with cheap parts. So I asked these guys to take a look and fix what was busted. They came back the next day to tackled the job. They explained what was the issue and how they fixed it.
