I was quite captivated with some of the selection of cakes and deserts they had for sale, a variety of cakes were displayed for a reasonable price, however I couldn't find any pricing for cakes or cake slices on their given menu at that time. The actual cake and food quality looks OK, nothing extravagant, but nevertheless reasonable. What disappointed me the most about this lovely little cafe was the tasteless and extremely hot coffee that was served. The actual coffee was brewed way too fast; most likely rushed, I generally tasted the burnt coffee beans which also left an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth.

The lovely vintage utensils and serving sets compliment and complete this vibe. Chose this place for a girlie catchup over cake and coffee, because we figured it would be quiet! It was, when you come towards closing time! A beautiful teacupcake with berries was selected. Accompanied by a dark hot chocolate and a cold drink for moi. My friend had the shortbread cookie and the macaron with raspberry and a coffee Everything was so pretty and screams of indulgence. We thoroughly enjoyed our sweet treats. I believe I will call in again in the New Year because Jenna is going to introduce a red velvet item to her selection! She also does cakes for special occassions such as birthdays and weddings. Go and say hi...you won't be disappointed.

On a family size dinner table setup with unlimited Sweets, Scones, French Savoury Pastries, Traditional English Finger Sandwiches and Unlimited Artisan Tea and Coffee" Having recently moved back to Adelaide from interstate, I wanted to treat the special ladies in my life this Christmas, and so I jumped at the chance to attend this event today, and booked a table. Although the sweet treats served tasted beautiful, I was extremely disappointed that we were served just one scarcely filled cake stand of treats between all seven of us to have with our beverages. No Scones, Savoury Pastries, or Finger Sandwiches as advertised - although other tables were served these. What was supposed to be a lovely treat left me upset and regretting the hundreds of dollars spent on a few coffees, teas, cupcakes, tarts and macarons.

I've always walked past this pace and have been meaning to try it…read more They have the basics in decor, play 80's music, which is a plus for me, and the cleanliness is what you'd expect in a typical run of the mill cafe style restaurant. Service was reasonable, we were quickly seated and were treated well, staff ensuring our needs were met and we had plenty to drink, which is good for a hot day. My friend had the pannaloni and whilst it didn't look appetising to me, she swears it was the best she has ever eaten. I had a chicken and asparagus meal with a cream cheese sauce. The chicken was great, vegetables - other than the broccoli which was a tad overlooked were nice, crisp and fresh. The sauce lacked that extra oomph! But it was a good feed. Overall it's not a place I would go out of my way to visit however if you are in the ingle farm area, or shopping complex it is a nice casual place to go and get a decent feed at a decent price.

Fairly standard Neo-Italiano restaurant (loud, lots of shiny things, several TV's showing sport,…read morefree-to-air TV or music clips on mute so that it doesn't even match the in-house music) along the lines of Buongiorno's and Primo's. Service is OK; and they must be OK to work for because we have been back there over a number of years and we recognise some of the waiting staff from earlier visits. Especially a lovely young lady with a multi-scrunchie ponytail. There was also another young lady waiting on us last visit who bizarrely didn't utter a single word to us the whole visit. It was actually quite funny; she did talk to the other staff and so my wife and I had a competition to see if we could get her to speak. We both lost. Pricing is 'upper casual', though they do get an extra vote because they a) are in the Entertainment Book and b) gave me the discount and let me keep it. Unfortunately they also lose a vote because of the consistently horrible coffee. I'm not sure who their supplier of beans is (though I did see Lavazza stamped on one of those vertical PVC pipe grinds bins), but whoever it is should go in guerrilla style and ask them to make a Latte. The first time I tried one I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt; just a bad day, maybe. The second time we went, it was equally as bad - not only was it scalding hot, but it tastes like the beans themselves are burnt. Third time I thought "OK, make or break time" and if nothing else I must applaud them for consistency. I'd rather drink instant, and that's saying something. This is seriously up there with the worst coffee I have ever tasted. Three times. Conclusion: If you're in the area and looking for a hearty breakfast or an Italian-esque meal, you won't be disappointed. Especially if you have an Entertainment Book voucher. But for God's sake don't order a coffee.
