She did talk to me a little to make sure all was fine but nothing after (my preference as I sleep). She loosened my muscles with a light blanket on top of me and then tapered back the cover to apply oil and massage in areas of focus. She used excellent technique and pressure during my entire massage. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the professionalism. Better than many brands I have patronized. The women that I have encountered over my time here are all miracle workers. I've gone in with neck pain and leave feeling brand new, I've gone in at the cusp of an anxiety attack and left more relaxed than I've ever been. The atmosphere, the employees, the music, everything is the perfect recipe for a relaxing massage. When you walk in it is very dark, especially the more sunny it is outside so be prepared! Once your eyes take a moment to adjust, you are met with a few couches and some water as well as a menu of services on the wall. They also have some pricing pamphlets on the coffee table between the couches and magazines - I've never needed them as I've never had a long wait, even without making an appointment. I usually opt for the package which includes 40 minute deep tissue massage with the 30 minute reflexology for 35 dollars. This includes a foot soak, reflexology foot massage plus legs, back, arms, and neck massage. The only downfall is that their lack of staff causes the employee to step away when someone walks in or if the phone rings. This means mid-massage they may step out to greet someone for a moment or two. These are usually VERY brief interactions, one or two minutes tops, before they are back and apologizing for stepping out. I completely get it - when you're a small locally owned business you have to make things work the best you can. The fact they pause a massage to greet someone and see what they need then give them a wait time is okay with me. If you're inpatient or not understanding that they are running a small family business then find a big box corporation that has a dedicated receptionist. As for me, I will never go anywhere else for a massage!

We hadn't found a foot massage location we wanted to stay with and hoping this would work out. Both visits were walk-ins. My wife wanted a body and I wanted foot. We're told told they could accommodate us both for the 1-hour massage. My wife's body massage. She waited. Then finally a massage. The lady must be the owner or the manager, in/out of the room though the massage was good, it was too many interruptions and she felt like the massage was only about 35-40 mins. My foot massage. Waited for 30 or so minutes, wish they could have let me know. Massage, with interruptions and maybe lasted 40 mins. We're not sure if ownership changed, but definitely not the same folks from the first visit. First visit definitely 4-5*, this visit 1-2* - I will have to go with 1* as I cannot recommend or will visit again.

After having an awful experience a few weeks ago, I took my time to search for a good deep tissue massage therapist and carefully read the reviews. I came across Daniel and saw that everyone that has gone to him has been very pleased. It is super easy to book an appointment and initially I was a bit bummed that I had to wait over a week for an appointment but they have this super cool feature that alerts you when an opening comes available sooner so as soon as I got a notification for an earlier appointment, I grabbed it right away! I went to him two days after I had gone to a chiropractor and I was still suffering from some pain in my lower back/hip area. I was able to book the massage for one targeted area so I chose my lower back and I was able to put a description of what I was going through. When I arrived , he asked me to go a bit more in detail about what type of lower back pain I was having and how it started. Giving him a little bit of background on the pain starting point gave him a good basis of how to approach it. He definitely uses a lot of pressure, and did a great job at working out all of the tension that I had in my muscles. I would warn that if you go for a deep tissue massage, maybe have someone else drive you and have lots of ice cold water in the car to drink afterwards. Many times after a proper deep tissue massage all of those toxins release into your body and can make you feel sick. When he was done, I was very dizzy and nauseous. He did give me a cold water so I took that and sat in my car for a few minutes but did throw up when I got home and had to drink a lot of water to finish flushing all those toxins from my body. I would say he got out the majority of the stress knots that I had in my back but I will definitely schedule a few more visits to get my body the way it needs to be. The first few days after the massage I was pretty sore, but my body is feeling so much better and I can feel much more mobility in my lower back and hips without popping. Daniel is thorough and asks you how you're doing throughout the massage but isn't super talkative which is great! I'll be scheduling with him regularly . Thanks Daniel!
