When we arrived, they took us to separate massage areas and started preparing us for regular massages instead. We stopped them and politely explained that we had booked a couples massage. At that point, the staff suddenly acted like they couldn't understand English, brought out Google Translate, and told us they couldn't do our massage after all. If couples massages aren't available, they should have told us when we made the reservation instead of waiting until we arrived. We wasted our time driving there only to be turned away. It was frustrating, unprofessional, and a poor customer experience. I won't be returning.

Now the last time I went I felt so so disappointed. Sadly now writing reviews they are getting only one star from me! There are a couple of new faces... I got assigned a female... ok no problem. She started the massage and pause and then pause... I am looking at my friend next to me her masseuse is going to town doing his job! Mine... nothing! Then she decided to leave! Another guy came and all he did was rub and rub. I asked more than 5 times to please make it harder maybe he realize he need to give me a massage and pressure points not just rub... he pretended to not understand English even though they translated to him. Usually they wipe your feet after the lotion and oil with a hot wet towel... he did none of that! I almost slipped when I left I had to buy wet towels to wipe them to be able to walk What was more disappointing is at the end trying to share your experience at the front desk... you get brushed off! Well... this is the only place that charge decently in town. Yes I will go back but I will refuse service from any of the new masseuses

George greeted us I entered the spa and offered me a choice of Water, Hot Tea or Champagne. All good choices but after a full day of traveling I opted for the bubbly beverage while they preparred the room. George asked me how much pressure I would prefer and the areas to focus on. I had been sitting on a plane and carrying luggage so my entire back was stressed and in need of work. George stretched my back muscles and proceeded to relieve the tension that had built up. He seemed to know every muscle in detail and knew exactly the right pressure and technique that was required to complete the task at hand. I heard joints popping and oils being applied to my tired muscles all while relaxing on a warm massage table with comfy sheets and headrest. The music playing in the background was soft and relaxing. I have had many massages over the years and George provided one of the best I have ever had. Next time I am in town I will stop by for another wonderful experience. They have multiple rooms and a full staff so I would assume all the massge therapists to be top tier. I highly recommend Pimalai Spa!!! John L
