From the start to the finish I felt like i was being fully cared for . All details of comfort were considered. Check in process was smooth, the rooms were clean and had all the details like hair ties and ear plugs and robes . My massage therapist was Logan. He patiently explained how the massage would work and even tied in some of his expertise from his certifications to help more directly address the problem areas. Do yourself a favor and book yourself a relaxing and much needed massage here ! read more

Everything started from the moment I got the confirmation call. The lady that called me was so sweet, kind and professional. Then the day of the massage, one of the masseuse that was at the front desk, greeted me right away. Was very polite and was very friendly! Then my masseuse was Joy. She was AMAZING! This was by far thee BEST massage I have ever gotten. Joy went over my info before she begun, confirmed the areas I had put on the form that I wanted targeted the most. Joy checked on the pressure and made sure I was comfortable. I had a deep tissue massage with the therapeutic relief head, neck and face. It was SO RELAXING! I cannot express enough how FANTASTIC this massage was! When I left, I felt like I was floating. All my tension was GONE. I will definitely be returning in a couple of weeks! read more

I cannot begin to tell everyone how happy I found this studio years ago and can't believe I haven't mentioned it sooner. Melanie has made my aches and pains melt away for a while. Doesn't matter how many times I've decided to create pain, Melanie has truly helped me pass those times. When you walk into Krissy's you really just start feeling relaxed. The front staff Monica, Laura or Tori immediately help you feel relaxed and it just goes on from there. Go, enjoy and you can thank me later. read more

From the moment I got there, the lady at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Best massage I've ever had! I was nervous cause I'm pregnant but now I'll recommend to any other pregnant woman. I was in so much pain when I got there and Leah worked her magic!! I was relieved of my pain and I felt great! read more

10/10!!!! I dont know how I just found this place in SA, but after my first visit I can HAPPILY say I'm going to pick up extra work shifts for the spending money to be a regular here lol. To begin with, the atmosphere is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Cute and cozy but very spa-vibe :) There were little local essential oils and candles and lotions for sale in the waiting room (and if that's what the smell of the place was coming from - I want all of them.!!) AND a lil Keurig for tea and such to drink while you wait :) Which - wait ?? there was none - so that was great too! And then The price for my 60 min sports massage was super reasonable, and my therapist was AHHHHH-mazing!! I snatched that business card RIGHT off the wall when I left haha. Her pressure was perfect - deep enough to let me know that she was being hecka effective, but not so deep to where I was in pain the whole time... AKA I actually got to relax, AND I left feeling amazing. She also was so great about breaking up the session perfectly to give all my body the attention it needed in different problem areas. I loved every second! Dare I say it - but I have been to probably ten different massage therapists in my day, and miss Melanie has quickly topped that list! Thank you ladies so much, and see you again soon!!! read more

Love Melissa! She's been doing massages for over 15 yrs. You can tell. She pays attention to your needs. She loosened up an area where the muscles began tightening up months after my masectomy. She did an outstanding job. A couple of yrs later, i had the breast reconstruction and she did a bit of a lymphatic drain. She's awesome! She cares and has magical hands. Whenever I can get in it's worth it. read more

The front office staff are genuinely kind and knowledgeable. The quality of the sheets and bedding in the spa are top notch . The surround sound is at perfect level and soothing. The color of the paint throughout is light and the decor modern but not overwhelming. The ambiance of the lighting is not too dark but light enough to see with warmth. The LMT staff are excellent and knowledgeable in their field. They listened to what you need in the massage and spa and if you are not careful you might fall asleep! Haha Definitely a place I would go again! read more

Front desk staff friendly, professional, first time visit, explained protocol. Massage therapist, Melissa R. good eye contact, greeting positive, reassuring. Melissa has a relaxing voice, music was calming, ambience was pristine, aromatherapy was soothing, deep tissue massage helped my right hand, lower legs & back. Enjoyed the warm massage table, moist heat to back of neck, back, and feet (on this chilly a.m.). Hope to return again in near future. M @ 10 a.m. read more

After a long day or, long week this is the place to go. Warm, welcoming, and affordable! You can ask them about there membership after you become a frequent massager because they will have you coming back. I myself have booked appointments for myself and my husband and we have enjoyed every visit. I dare you to try it for yourself! I'd say they are one of the BEST Small Businesses in Texas. read more

I usually go to Melanie M. She is fantastic! She puts a lot of much needed pressure. She also seems to take her time. I had a bit of wrist issue but I haven't had any issues with it since I became a little more consistent with booking. Today, I saw Sarah. She is equally as good! She is a little more technical and I loved that she paid attention to my posture before starting. She worked based on what she saw and I feel equally as great. The both of them frequently ask if you are doing okay as well. I have been to other massage therapists that seem to blast straight through process, regardless of how much pain it causes you. It's very quiet in there, very clean. I also like that they themselves don't talk much unless you show interest in doing so. It helps me relax with them much more. I haven't had a bad experience here. The care they provide is amazing. Definitely book here! One last note: the front desk is always very friendly as well. read more

Beginning with the sweetest person helping me set my appointment to the attention to detail from everyone at Massage Therapy by Krissy- they have a new client! I usually do large spa chains and needed an appointment asap so I looked at other reviews and found this place. It looks tiny on the outside but once you walk in you are at a beautiful and serene massage therapy sanctuary! My massage was just what I needed and my massage therapist followed up with stretching tips and aftercare instructions. I highly recommend and can't wait for my next appointment! read more

The staff made sure we understood the standard procedure for what we could expect with Swedish massage or Deep tissue massage. I think I ended up asking for something more along the lines of Swedish massage even though I booked us for a deep tissue couples massage. My husband and I really enjoyed it and will be sure to follow the instructions to hydrate to help clear any lactic acid from our wonderful massages. My therapist (Joy) was really responsive during the massage to my requests to increase or decrease pressure depending on what each area of my body could tolerate. And, Kjirsten was careful around a previous injury in my husband's shoulder. I appreciated that (: I was honestly sad when our time was up. The massage felt really good!! read more

I had a Swedish massage and Destiney did a great job. I will definitely be coming back.

I really needed a massage and was so glad I found this place with an opening on a Saturday. The online booking process was easy and straightforward which was nice. When I arrived the door was locked but I was let in by the front desk manager. She welcome me and went to tell my massage therapist I was there. After using their restroom which was super cute by the way, I went into the room where I would get my massage. It was really nice and relaxing. I immediately felt really peaceful. My massage therapist made sure I was comfy before starting and we talked about where I had tightness. Once she started I knew I was in good hands with the amount of care and attention she was giving to my trouble spots. Since I was getting a deep tissue massage she did an excellent job on applying different techniques and pressure to work out the muscles. Towards the end she even did some of her sports massage work by stretching my legs out which was excellent. I left the massage feeling like a new woman all thanks to her! read more

Ive booked here before and had a great experience. I called this evening to ask about any opening this evening. Sarah stated no and I asked if online was correct because it showed 3 openings. She stated there is an opening. I mentioned I was confused because she just said no. She then dismissed me and stated "would you like to book the appointment". Very unprofessional and rude. Sounded like she wanted to get out early. Chrissy called and did a great job trying to make it right! She seemed to really care and wanted to understand what happened. She provided the option for a free service and apologized for the mishap. read more

Massage Therapy by Krissy - Happy place! - Reflexology Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

I felt SO educated, supported, and pampered by Sarah when I got my express facial today. My skin feels awesome.

Nice little spot with wonderful people. Staff was friendly and massage was great. My upper back was a pain point for me and the deep tissue massage got most of the knots out. Would recommend this place! read more

I shopped around for a massage therapist for a good month before I settled on this one, and it was a great decision. The office was very cute and professional, as was the actual massage room. The day before my appointment, I was emailed an intake form that asked about my treatment goals, any pain or issues I was having, what I had tried to deal with those issues before, etc. It was a huge vote of confidence for me, and made me feel like this place cared about my well-being and getting better. I booked a deep tissue massage with Melanie to deal with some serious lower back pain due to 2 recent car accidents, after I had tried many other things. I left feeling sore but refreshed - and my back was more mobile than it had been for months. During the massage, we talked about previous things I had done to manage the pain, and what I could do moving forward to keep it under control. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Kat was amazing, she talked me through what she was going to do and listened to all my concerns. The massage was a very unique experience I've never had a lympathic massage before. By far the worst massage I ever received. After giving my review to the front desk, the verbal response was "oh gosh I'm so sorry, your total remaining is..." Gave a feedback via email and never heard back from anyone to ask about the negative review. read more

This was my first time visiting Massage by Krissy. Great environment...very tranquil. Had a 60 min deep tissue massage done by Joy. She did a fantastic job. I went in with sore and tight muscles in my neck, back, and shoulders. Left feeling relaxed and the soreness was gone. I also had a reflexology session done by Joy as well. That was amazing. It was my first reflexology session and it surpass my expectations. I highly recommend adding a session along with a massage. Total relaxation but later you feel energized. I would also like to comment on my check-in. The nice young lady at the reception desk greeted me right away with a friendly smile. Very professional and bubbly. Great energy which is a huge asset to a wellness spa. Overall, a great experience and I will be going back again. read more
