My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients.
