We viewed all of the produce and various products for sale in the stores and food stands within the grand venue where food is sold from Seed ( farm ) to Table. There is a huge Wine section where wine from all over the world is for sale. There is a Bakery , Candy , grocery store. You name it , this place has it. My friend was impressed at the size of the place and that there are restaurants, stores , and even a Stage where a Band plays music on weekends and is open until 2:00 a. m. After a walk around tour of the place we went to the second floor restaurant section to grab some dinner. We both ordered the Smash Burger with fries. We were both sated when we left the premises. The Smash Burger is HUGE ! But wait , the boyz in the Band were just showing up, getting ready to take the stage and play some music. I especially loved the black sprouted rice liked on top, which mixed beautifully into the curry and added a wonderful texture. My wife's salmon was similarly bland and seemed to be missing seasoning altogether. We ended up asking for salt and pepper a few times, which says a lot when you're ordering steak and salmon. Our server was nice, and I appreciated that as the dining room started filling up for dinner. But based on how consistently we've enjoyed True Food elsewhere, this meal was especially disappointing. Fast forward a year later and our dining group meets there again. This time I arrive early and go straight to the bar so that I can verify the happy hour policy. The bartender confirms that martinis are not on happy hour then explains that the additional surcharge is because a Cosmo has a splash of cranberry juice, so it's martini price plus. Never heard this before. I cheaped out and ordered a house pinot grigio. Regarding food, the visit a year ago was profoundly disappointing. That entree was described as pasta with a lobster tail. I expected to see a lobster tail but there were just a couple of very tiny pieces of supposed lobster tail that must have come from a just hatched lobster. Thankfully, the food served a few days ago was much better. The American Redfish entree was good enough to order again, if I were ever to go back.
