After seeing this spot for a while while passing by, we finally made it in for lunch. We had tried a few other times but they close before we usually finish work. Having gone, it definite seems better suited for lunch rather than dinner...so a 6 PM closing time is reasonable. I got the turkey & bacon jam on a pretzel roll. That bacon jam. Damn! The folks behind the counter were very friendly, service was efficient, and I really appreciate their dedication to being zero-waste. They have mason jars for water cups, which is a nice touch. Plenty of seating, nice location, and portion-size was good for me. If you're a Snarf's "Pro" sized kind of person...you may want to get chips or a side as well. Strawberry lemonade is delicious. Not overly sweet as most places would make it. Excited to try their soups--if it's as good as the sandwich, I'm in for a treat! read more

The store is wonderful. I love going in here, the staff are friendly and they have a wonderful selection of foods, great jams. To be honest I loved the egg sandwich. I liked this place from the minute I walked in. Cute little green chairs outside, wooden and white finishes inside. The menu isn't huge but it has great sandwich combinations and you can add extra things if you like...and they have quite a few vegetarian options too which is a winner. I got the turkey cranberry and my husband got the turkey bacon. And both were delicious. They also have cold brew coffee and kombucha as well as raw mini treats too. The staff were all very friendly and offered suggestions. They also made the sandwiches super quick. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I think it is a bit expensive $10 for a sandwich even if it is organic is a bit too much I consider. However nice it is. Truly the best sammies in Boulder! They got yummy vegan options and it's not just freaking tomatoes and bread. This shit slaps. This was my first visit. I had the turkey bacon jam sandwich on a gluten free bread and loved it. The gf bread tasted just like a great regular bread - which I haven't had a years and I was so grateful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sandwich was a little on the bigger side for me but I ate everything anyway. Needless to say, their local and organic and local motto doesn't hurt. make sure to go after the lunch rush, I heard they had a line out the door today. Now I know why. read more

If there were 10 stars to give, I'd give them all 10. This place is truly the best sandwich place I've ever been to. They use high quality ingredients put together in unique ways that make my taste buds extremely happy. The staff is friendly and flexible. And, they get bonus points for an efficient process (cuz I love a good system). And let's talk about the price that some want to have issue with... yes, it's premium priced if you're comparing it to places that serve crap food. But the reality is, it's priced right for the value you get (in my opinion). Everything about our experience at the Organic Sandwich Company was disappointing. I ordered the turkey and cranberry sandwich and told three people I didn't want the aioli, multiple times each. And when they finished making it, it had a ton of aioli. So I asked them to remake it. The guy was so irritated and rude, but my peacemaker son told them he'd just take a second sandwich so it wouldn't be wasted. My sandwich, when made as I requested, was yummy. But because we had to buy three freaking sandwiches, our lunch was over $40. Them to top it off, to use the bathroom you have to get a key and go out in the back parking lot. Diner beware: they don't like to do requests, and are then rude when they make it wrong. I'd give my (begrudgingly) correctly made sandwich 4 Stars, but my service and the cost is only 1 Star. Visiting Boulder for a day. Walked into this wonderful store to try their breakfast. My family loved it all. My daughters cleared their meals - not a crumb left. We were walking by around the same sandwich shop and again my girls wanted to try their lunch menu! We loved it! My husband and eldest daughter loved the bacon jam! The spicy veggie sandwich was the perfect balance of spice and avocado and the special of the day (the delicata squash) was so good-I could have had two. On our way out of CO we stopped at Organic Sandwich Company. They have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and everything in between. The shop was very welcoming. All the staff were very nice and I loved the way they prepared the sandwiches. I really enjoyed my sandwich, which was the Spicy Veggie- totally recommend, and I could see the whole process through the clean glass. The design and decor were modern but not too modern, was very beautiful and very suiting to the heathy environment. There was a kids menu and sandwiches for any age. There was also more options other than sandwiches. They showed where their fresh produce and ingredients came from which I thought was a great touch. 11/10 recommended this shop. read more

They have good sanwhiches, but 22 dollars for a sandwhich and a bowl of soup is ridiculous. Soup was good, but lukewarm at best. I called in and had them make a to-go order, but when I was at the register I was totally shocked that a sanwhich and soup was 22 dollars. Bland sandwiches full of unfulfilled promises. Adding some toasting and tasty sauces to these expensive sandwiches would be a good start towards their $10 price tag. While the bacon jam is pretty great, the bread was cold and mediocre, the guacamole a flavorless mash of avocado, and aside from the refrigerated drinks, nothing appeared to be certified organic. I love this place. I drive from CU sometimes for lunch! It's clean, convenient,and fast! Plus it's all good food! Delicious sandwich options. The tomato basil soup is so so good, and the soup and sandwich combo is my new favorite! If you're looking for something fast yummy and affordable, just walk through the front door! Best sandwich shop in town!!! I order here almost everyday. The food is always fresh, and they have unique & exciting options on their menu. There is no "plain-Jane" food here. This is hands down the best sandwich in town! I am so grateful to have a place where I can fully TRUST the quality of the food. Even the places which claim to be farm to table are not always and almost 100% is organic and you tell tell that their food comes directly from local farms when they can (the arugula clearly does not just come out of a plastic box). Yes, it makes the sandwich a bit more expensive, but really, its worth it. The pretzel rolls and cookies are pretty unbelievable too. Yum! read more

I'm sorry to be harsh with this one, but if you're going to specifically call yourself a sandwich company, you better be an expert at making sandwiches. And if you're a sandwich expert, you know that you can't make a sandwich on a brioche bun and stuff it with things that don't contrast to the softness of the bread. My husband and I both got the bacon, egg, caramelized onion breakfast sandwich at the Boulder Farmers' Market and found it very disappointing. We really couldn't taste the thin layer of egg or the cheese and the caramelized onions were very bitter. Maybe breakfast sandwiches aren't their strong suit, but either way it was a bummer. read more
