Sad to publicly admit that many days I struggled to get up and doing anything. I read, watched tv and did household chores but that was about it. After reading the February issue of Enjoy (Redding area magazine) which focused on women, our health issues and tons of great articles I saw the ad for FemFit. I knew that I needed to research this option more and after meeting with Mikilah immediately signed up. I have gone to classes 3 times a week for a month and feel better and happier than I have in, maybe, years. Everyone is so nice and welcoming- no judgement just support and friendship. Truly women helping other women! The trainers in the classes make special adjustments for my aging, achy knees and other ladies often ask "how are you feeling today? How is your knee?" Love this place and I can't say enough positive things about it.

The equipment is so nice, and the workouts feel tailored to you. This team of coaches will push you to be your best in the healthiest way possible. I've felt empowered and encouraged to do better, but I've never felt pressured here to go beyond what I'm capable of at that time. At FemFit, we say, "Train the body you have." This motto has helped in many ways! I cannot say enough nice things about the coaches. I'll be sad to move away from Redding at the end of the year, mainly because I can't take FemFit with me. If you're thinking of signing up, do it! You will love your experience with the fantastic people and team at FemFit.

It is made clear that everyone of any skill level is accepted here.   The trainers are great. They are motivating and encouraging and can offer modifications on any movement as well as quickly troubleshoot problems with form. Nothing is more infuriating for me when I see others doing movements incorrectly and unsafe at a gym and the 'coach' just walks on by. I believe you can get "a good workout" at any gym but something that especially sets them apart from the rest is their focus on attitude and the promotion of a positive mindset. They also place a huge emphasis on LONGEVITY and taking care of your body, not just lifting the heaviest and being super competitive. It's about whole body wellness here (mind, body, etc) and I so appreciate that angle. This is a gym for everybody and they don't shame you if you don't (yet) have the skill level of an elite athlete. You will not find elitism here and it's very refreshing. They will not only transform that bod, they will transform you from the inside out. You will feel at home and welcome here, like you are amongst family. They truly love their people and care about their health and wellbeing.

This is a quality studio with quality instructors that fit every different exercise style. The studio manager Olivia is extremely helpful and great at what she does. The reception staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a shared common area with benches, lockers, and cubbies. The women's bathroom is small but has a shower and is clean and comfortable. There's an array of toiletries available like shampoo, lotion, etc. The music is loud as expected with a spin class. I have noticed in the recent months that the music is getting much louder (probably as the instructor's ears adapt to the sound) and drowns out the instructor's audio. This is where the earplugs they offer come in handy. The price for classes are a little steep but they often do deals and sales around the holidays. You have to make an online account to register for a class at True Ride. Arrive a little early if you want to utilize the lockers.

This is THE place in Redding for true relaxation in a peaceful and professional atmosphere when I just want to rest and make progress on my self-care. Each masseuse is excellent at learning your needs for the particular session and then delivering a professional massage that leaves you feeling nurtured and rested. I have chronic neck injuries and each of the masseuses have wonderful and different ways to help relieve the stubborn knots. It's done wonders for my productivity! After one year I didn't need the package anymore, that's how effective their sincere and professional massages have helped me. The extra credits remain on your account and you can just go in for maintenance as needed. If you suffer from chronic pain and need to stay ahead of it this is the place you want! Prices are more than reasonable for what you get (a true healing experience in a safe and professional environment), especially if you get a package. I usually prefer women to work on me but each masseuse here is so trustworthy and godly that I felt comfortable to have Dominick be my masseuse too. He's a gem! It's rare that the best spa in town also provides the best value, but this is it! You'll be spoiled for any other place in town after coming here! It truly has been a sanctuary for true rest and recovery for me! Thanks Jen and team! Keep up the great work!
