Omelet with spinach, cheese. I guess they don't know what add bacon means

This is a review for ciao Bella, which organic farm recently rebranded or changed ownership, idk. Unfortunately I cannot recommend. It was a pretty quiet morning but the service was slow. The steak and eggs tacos was not steak. Maybe it's brisket but it was some sort of shredded meat. I asked them to add bacon to the omelet and they left it on the side. The bacon was slightly undercooked. They don't season the eggs at all nor the potatoes. Just overall, low effort.

We came into town to attend the farmers market but it was rained out so we stopped here for breakfast. Cute, lay backed establishment, dog friendly. I am not a vegan guy but my wife insisted I give it a try. My breakfast wrap was both tasty and filling with bacon bits, avocado, egg and corn. Nice diversion on a rainy Saturday morning. I would return again in the future under similar circumstances.

Reminds me of one of the small trattorie that we went to in Florence. Casual vibe, classic trattoria décor, but hinting at the fine dining end of service and food. A lot of the overall feeling of our visit was due to our server Giulia. She was friendly, professional and efficient. We never felt rushed. We had the Rigatoni Boscaiola - Rigatoni, sweet peas, mushrooms, crumbles sausage, parmesan cream sauce. Mushrooms and peas not overcooked. Creamy parm sauce. Mild crumbled sausage. As this was a later dinner and we were not extremely hungry we also had the Harvest Caprese Salad as one of our dinners. - Arugula, mozzarella, balsamic glaze. All fresh. A lot of mozzarella. We decided to try the Limoncello Tiramisu - Nice variation on the traditional tiramisu. Lemon cookies soaked in Limoncello, layers of mascarpone, topped with lemon zest. The cookies were fresh and still had a crunch to them. Good job. Very tasty Although I guess the correct choice of after dinner drink would have been Limoncello given our dessert, I had to opt for one of my favorite amaros, Vecchio Amaro del Capo with a tasty double espresso. We also got a very nice Matcha Lattee. Bonanza Cab went very well with the meal.

    $6.42 latte

Far too expensive. $6.42 for a subpar 12oz latte. They charge $.35 to take a latte "to go" in a paper cup! The woman who worked there gave me some BS response saying that target and other grocery stores now charge for bags. But bags cost maybe five cents and this cafe's VERY basic to go cup cost me $.35?! The latte was nothing special and I did not enjoy the taste at all. I've had a lot of lattes in Sarasota and this is my least favorite. Can't speak to the food. The tarts looked good and the inside was cute, but buyer beware of prices.

    Lemon and regular tiramisu

Everything we had was incredible! Highly recommend any gnocchi meal and the tiramisu! Will definitely be back

This place is really great if you are looking for something delicious and healthy! So far I have been here for breakfast and dinner, each time the service was great, and very efficient. They have tables inside and outside. Restrooms are clean, there's usually street parking nearby or at a parking lot. Prices are decent, but some people might think that it's overpriced, but you have to understand that healthier options are usually more expensive but for the area I feel it's worth it. You can bring your pet and enjoy your meal outside. I enjoyed their breakfast wrap and ice matcha! For dinner I had their special which was so delicious!!! I must admit some of their food menu items can be intimidating but so far I have been very impressed and happy with the choices I have made.. lastly their desserts WOW definitely try the strawberry shortcake!! And for 2nd choice their chocolate cake! You won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back with my family and friends soon!

this place had good ambiance. I got a lemon loaf and it was overpriced and not good. It was hard and chewy and lacked flavor. It was like it was days old. The server and the busser gave me weird looks and did not seem happy to be there. The girl at the register was kind though, props to her! I would not go back as it was overpriced for the stalest and driest $6 lemon loaf. I know it is gluten and dairy free but it is possible to do that without making it so dry and chewy. The recipe needs to switched up or they need to throw out the old ones and not sell them. .

My house vodka martini was great & only $6! We shared ate almost entirely off the HH menu - bruschetta, caesar salad, bolognese, & the pasta with mushroom sauce. Pasta is homemade & you can get it off the HH menu! We even got a bread basket served to us! We indulged in profiteroles for dessert. The bartender was wonderful. The interior looks very nice. Outside they have plenty of tables. Would definitely go back to this place.

I came back for an actual meal…read more They start the meal off with bread and a marinara-olive oil (see previous review for similar thoughts). For an appetizer, the gnocchi alla Bolognese was ordered for the table. It was homemade potato gnocchi with a Bolognese sauce and whipped ricotta. This was very good. The homemade gnocchi was light and flavorful while there was plenty of meat in the sauce. The ricotta just added to it. For an entrée, I split the Cernia in Crosta, and a pappardelle special. The Cernia was fresh herb-crusted Gulf grouper with lobster scampi sauce, grilled asparagus and potatoes. The grouper was a very generous size. The fish was cooked ideally, and the herb-crust really was flavorful. I thought the actual grouper could have been seasoned more, but not a huge deal. The scampi sauce was good too. The pasta special was homemade pappardelle in a brandy cream sauce with five scallops present. This was a simple dish done right. The pappardelle was perfectly cooked while the brandy cream sauce was light, but flavorful. The scallops had a nice char on them with enough flavor. I also tried a sausage link, that was too salty. I also tried the spinaci e caprine salad. It contained baby spinach, crispy prosciutto, truffle honey, multiple pieces of fruit, candied walnuts, and goat cheese. This was well put together and even the truffle honey was not too overpowerful like I thought it might.

We didn't take any pictures (which should tell you how fast we dove in), but here's the breakdown: 3 lobster ravioli (including me) 1 truffle ravioli 1 clams and linguine 1 chicken parm And I'm not exaggerating when I say we didn't speak to each other until our plates were cleared. Total silence. Just pure focus. I'm not usually a truffle fan, but when I tried my wife's truffle ravioli, I immediately understood the hype. It wasn't incredible rich (helped me not feel like I needed to be wheeled out afterwards), balanced, and packed with flavor without being overpowering. I genuinely wanted to trade plates. My lobster ravioli was perfect. Not overly heavy, not drowning in sauce just loaded with flavor and cooked exactly right. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone going. The clams and linguine and the chicken parm both got rave reviews from the table too. No weak links anywhere. Our server was kind, attentive, and quick without rushing us. She made the experience even better and handled a busy night like a pro. Pro tip: Make a reservation. We booked on OpenTable and were seated right away on what looked like a packed night. Also, if you park next door like we did pay the meter. Trust me. We learned that lesson the hard way on this trip. If you're in Siesta Key and craving authentic, high-quality Italian, Café Gabbiano is a must. We'll definitely be back.
