The worse customer service ever!!!! Will never get any more of my money!!!! Asked the owner to try to spot clean a stain on a dress that was supposedly cleaned. Not at all! The older Asian male owner started raising his voice as if he was yelling at me! Oh no!!!! Very disrespectful!!! The Lady working the counter is extremely rude. I advised that I was throwing a piece of trash in her trash can and she tore into me as if I pointed a gun and was trying to rob her. As I tried to talk to her she got worse in the way she treaded and talked to me. Horrible Horrible Horrible!! Take your dry cleaning somewhere else. I dropped off my custom tailored blazer on July 8th. They said it would cost extra because of the elbow patches. Sure that was understandable. Went back a week later and I noticed that the area around the elbow patch was now stained and pointed it out. The lady was going to let me walk out without addressing it. When I showed it to her she blamed the patches?!? Unbelievable!! I had to argue with her that they need to fix this because when I turned it in the stains were not there on both elbows. She called someone on the phone and convinced me that they will take care of it and I should come back next week. Week two I go back and now the blazer is not even there and they tell me the owner will call me. No one calls me! I called on July 30th (now week 3) and the owner says they had to clean it multiple times and even take off the patches, clean it and put the patches back on and it will be ready on the 31st....THREE WEEKS LATER!! I went to pick it up today and stains are gone but my blazer now feels like it's been dry cleaned 10 times (very stiff and the softness is gone). I didn't want to deal with them any longer and expected them to not charge me at this point and asked them not to because of the inconvenience. That turned into an argument where they said that it wasn't their fault it took so long. And that there was no cleaning tag inside the blazer (it's a custom trailered blazer...not a Macy's Memorial Day Sale special!?!). She was dead serious trying to blame the blazer and the makers of it...LMBO. She would not compromise nor take any responsibility. More excuses were given to me but too much to write. So I paid the full price. Such a shame became this is a small business but they really need to learn how to provide better dry cleaning service and be trained on resolution management. They actually quoted me $400.00 to do simple alterations to a $80.00 dress. They were insulted when I said no, and removed all the pins from my fitting before I left. Went to the dry cleaner on Ice Crystal Drive and they did it perfectly in an hour for $45.00. Recently left my dry cleaning with Maple Lawn Organic Cleaners. When I went to pick it up, she rang me up, took my card, and said I didn't have to sign. She didn't tell me how much it was. I asked if I could please see a receipt so I knew how much she charged. She hestitantly gave it to me, and I was extremely overcharged. How do you run a business like this? read more

I wanted to try a new dry cleaners so I decided to take my clothing to Maple Lawn Organic Cleaners. As a first time customer I was asked to pay the full bill without seeing the finished product. I took some stained clothing to this cleaner after another nearby cleaner did not get the simple gravy stains out (even after I pointed them out). Yes, they cost twice as much as the so-called "bargain" cleaners but they did the job which is what counts. They also advertise being organic..(something I've never investigated) but do like. They did a nice job with clothes the first few times I visited. On the last visit I brought one item, a dress. When I went to pick up, the woman (manager?) offered me pants. Clearly not what I had dropped off and not what was on the receipt. Fast forward through a few follow up calls where she repeatedly told me I was wrong and had dropped off pants, that she had reviewed the video footage and it showed me dropping off pants. When I went to the store, and we watched the footage together, what had ACTUALLY happened was that I dropped off my dress, and she set it off to the side and took the next customer who had a full bag. I guess I got his pants. It took about a week to get my garment back, I am assuming she called the other customer to retrieve it. I was happy I got my dress back, and that is the reason for the second star. She discounted me five dollars (I was done fighting at that point) and gave me a short apology. We've been using this cleaning service since it opened, but they have adopted a practice that we think is unethical. They charge you the dry cleaning rate for a stained man's plain cotton shirt ($4.95 versus $1.85). We pointed out a couple of small, ordinary food stains when we dropped off the shirt. We left, and later the same day, noticed that the price was much higher than usual. When we returned thinking there was a mistake, the salesperson explained that she charged for dry cleaning, which she said works better than laundering at taking out stains. We think this is a deceptive practice. She should have explained that they charge the dry cleaning price for a stained shirt. We could then have decided to take a chance that the stains would respond to laundering. Not all stains are so stubborn that they have to be dry cleaned, right? Or maybe they would not try too hard to take out the stains via laundering. We won't be testing this, and instead will be taking the shirt to another cleaner. read more

I have been a customer for over a year and things were ok. They put a hole in one of my shirts, fixed it, then offered me half of a tailoring job for compensation. I took a holiday skirt in to get shortened (the skirt had a tulle slip). The tailor did not speak good English. When I picked the skirt up, she had completely cut off the tulle part of the slip leaving the skirt flat and not the style of the skirt. They said they would fix it and she kept the tulle. When I went back the next day, she only added on piece of tulle so it wasn't as "puffy" as the original skirt. She said this is the way it came. There was no discussion, she wouldn't even look at me, just spoke in her native language and was told that's it! There was nothing I could do AND they charged me the full $45 for the alteration!!!! I mentioned the half off tailoring on my account and they said there was nothing noted. I think $45 is very high and the disrespect I received was unacceptable. I will not go back! read more
