My old battery left me high and dry in my work parking lot. AAA came and gave me a jump but he didn't have the right replacement battery to so sent me to Les Schwab. Even though they were very busy, I was greeted immediately in the lobby and directed to the "battery bay". Of course there were others in my predicament ahead of me but some how Mike Paxton used his super powers to get us all new batteries and on our way almost before I settled down to wait. The unreliable, poor customer service is driving me away. I have only come here to have new tires mounted on wheels and the first two times I came things went okay (only exception being no call to let me know the work was done). I recently brought tires and wheels in again to have them swapped and have some old tires patched and never received a phone call when the work was supposedly done. I mentioned to Jesse that I was not called the last two times but he did not seem to care. When I picked up the tires I was charged for all of the labor that should have been done, but later discovered they did not fix one of the tires even though I was charged for it. I went back the next day to have them fix the tire I was charged for and you can imagine my surprise (sarcasm) when they once again never called to let me know that it was done.

They took payment immediately -- then canceled the installation two days later without explanation. After rescheduling, they canceled the entire order. Hoping it was a fluke, I placed the order again because the price was good. Set another installation date. Canceled again two days later. Then -- ironically -- I was notified the tires had arrived and I should schedule a pickup. I didn't want to pick them up -- I wanted them installed. I went to the store and asked if they could install the tires right then. At first, I was told no. When I asked to cancel the order, they suddenly could install them. So I left my Bronco and was told it would be ready in 1.5 hours. Guess what? 1.5 hours later, they called me to say their machine couldn't install the tires because of the size. I returned, got a refund for the tires -- but they couldn't refund the installation fee at the store. Now I have to call a 1-800 number and chase down my own money. This entire experience was a circus of incompetence, poor communication, and wasted time. I will never go back to the Walmart Auto Center again -- and I strongly recommend you don't either.
