Thrift stores in college towns are full of surprises and discarded treasures amidst semester shifts. This store has a section dedicated to both University of Oregon and Oregon State collegiate wear, convenient for new students and alumni. If you need storage, there are usually dorm and moving essentials on hand, such as totes, easy to assemble shelves and drawers. There is also a better selection of clothing, footwear, outerwear and accessories (purses, backpacks, hats, and jewelry) here thanks to the evolving student body. If you need a book for a class, their shelves are bursting in all genres. I found a beautiful Indigenous children's book, a handful of modern Little Golden Books; including Dolly Parton, Elvis, and The Golden Girls, and several vintage The Far Side books by Gary Larson. Everything I purchased was in like new condition. I'm sure the Portland Leather clutch ($8) will be a nice gift for a dear friend, that is, if I don't keep it for myself!

I like to come here to look for candles. I found one yesterday. My daughter found a skull glass jar…read moreto put her makeup brushes in. She also found a precious moments figurine, it was missing something from it but it was half off. My daughter found a scrub top for my Mom, which was really sweet. I agree with other yelpers, some of the prices are higher than the original price of items. But sometimes you can find a good deal and it's fun to look for the certain color tag that is half off.

Forest Grove Habitat for Humanity ReStore - $275 paid. The mgr Josh offered my partner $10 for the damage, telling her "you would've paid more somewhere else" Trash store.

The cost of items is pretty good. They can be up to 50% off retail price or more. The staff.... We love them! Special shout out Minda, Michael, Dan and Marv. They are so so helpful and nice. We love seeing them when we come in. Highly recommend this location!

We made a credit card payment over the phone to Habitat Restore in Forest Grove for a large 30x60"…read moreWooden Counter-cabinet for $275.00. when I came to pick it up with a 5x8 trailer, The thing weighed 300lb, and the employees loading it refused to use a dolly or take out the shelves inside when I asked. Instead they just shoved it up the ramp of the uhaul trailer, breaking off a corner slider foot. The entire 30" base panel along the bottom would need replaced as the leg screws tore off a pretty big chunk of it. Some of the sheet metal along the base bent and peeled as well, now the whole thing wobbles badly. My girlfriend went in to the store today, and the Manager told her the broken off leg was worth $10, and that she "would've paid more for the cabinet somewhere else." He then just gave her some scraps of wood to fix it ourselves. I'm not impressed with this store, anymore. The workers need to stop being lazy and use proper equipment for loading. We did not intend to pay $275 for a damaged item. It wasn't worth more than $100 in my opinion, and the workers loading definitely didn't treat it like it was worth more than $5, since we already paid for it.
