I had a mammogram for left breast in January which turned out need further testing, Ultrasound was scheduled for end of April, then I needed a biopsy, and an MRI, this all took over 5. months to schedule. After the MRI yesterday they found suspicious spot on right breast, now I have to start all over again for further testing, I am sure this won't be scheduled and completed for quite a while. Oregon Imaging Center at Riverbend has stellar customer service at the front desk. I went directly to the kiosk to check in and a very friendly representative helped me out and smoothly checked me in. The front lobby decor is very inviting and there's plenty of seating, so if you want to sit alone you can. When I was called back the tech was very friendly and helpful making my procedure go quick and easy. Her exceptional care was awesome. The back of the facility was very clean and had great decor as well. I highly recommend OIC for all of your image needs. They've also got two locations. One in Eugene, OR and the other in Springfield, OR. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a mammogram scheduled months in advance and thought my appointment was coming up soon, so I called to confirm the date. I was shocked to find out that my appointment had actually been scheduled for over a month earlier -- and I had completely missed it. When I asked the receptionist if they send reminders, like most medical offices do, she replied, "Didn't you get the information?" I explained that while I did receive the original scheduling details, I had expected a reminder since I juggle a busy schedule with five kids, multiple sports commitments, and work. Her response was, "That's why we give you the information -- so you can write it down." I found her tone and lack of empathy incredibly frustrating. It was clear that patient care and understanding are not priorities here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Oregon Imaging center does not do stat, they believe their non medical staff knows more than a MD and sometimes weeks go by before you can get in for testing. When a order is sent over they state they have 72 hours to process requests with no compassion for something that might be of a stat nature but not needing to over run ER'S. We need more imaging centers in Lane County that understand the need for testing before weeks go by. Their phone staff isnt helpful and neither is their next level supervisors. I will say the staff at the down town clinic is amazing once you get in but that doesnt help the other situations read more

Everyone at any of the centers have been very nice, helpful and professional. I'd give them a 5 Star. BUT I had some imaging done in 2023 and 2024. I have been trying to get ahold of the business office since at least December 2023, and you can't. I understand that they are having troubles, but you only get a recording. I've been calling every week. I need itemized statements for my HRA. read more

There is no patient portal. You get instructions for your test the day before by text. Two days before you get a text with directions to RiverBend. You call the number, wait 15 minutes for someone to answer only to be transferred to the correct dept. There is no list of numbers for the departments. Mammo lady told me I was spoiled for wanting the results sooner than the 2 weeks she said I would receive notice in the mail. There's a history of breast cancer in my family. I got an email with the results the same day. You are just a number and they have no compasssion. read more

Holy cow, this was outstanding. I was a Walk in, streamlined check-in at kiosk, zero wait on a Friday afternoon. Efficient, thorough, professional and friendly. Three staff informed me about or checked on parking validation without my asking. I wish all medical clinics were run so well. read more

I called earlier this morning to schedule an appointment and wait times were 15 minutes, so I left a call-back message. No one called back after two hours, so I called again. I tried waiting. As I was on the phone, wait times INCREASED from 21 minutes to 37 minutes. I left another call back, but I'm not optimistic. No business should be run this way. Hire more receptionists or something! read more

I have had a couple good experiences at this clinic. I have gotten ultrasounds here and the technician was super friendly and sensitive to my situation. I appreciated the cleanliness of the clinic and I had barely any wait time at all. My results were available the same day too which was great. I had a little trouble finding the best place to park but once I did it was easily accessible. I also appreciate that they allowed me to bring someone into the room with me since I struggle with anxiety. read more

I came in last week because I fell and needed to get X-rays on my tailbone. I have been here a few times before where the parking was a pain in the rear, so I was a little nervous before arriving. Thankfully the day I went in I got front row Joe on the 1st floor, just where I needed to be. The receptionist was very welcoming. I have never had any issues any time I have come in. I have not only been here for myself, but I have had to bring a few of my boy's here on a few injuries in the past. Especially one of them that wrecked quite often racing BMX. They have always gotten us right back, and even while in pain they try to make everything go as fast and smooth as they can. My boy's are grown now, and no longer race. So hopefully won't be needing to make frequent trips to the ER/ imaging center....knock on wood for this Mom. Now they just make fun of me for falling, and tell me how old I am getting. Wood floors, and socks don't mix well! Get the old lady socks with the grips on the bottom. Might save you a trip to get X-rays. ;-) Unless you love them... I also want to say I have been to the location Down town. I have gotten the same treatment, if you are worried about the parking that location might be better for you. read more

I give them a 2 star only because their imaging staff were helpful and kind. However, when trying to schedule a routine mammogram last year it took me 5 tries before I got to talk to a scheduler. I tried to set it up for my annual exam I'm now on 2 tries. They offer to call you back but it's never right away and I can't always answer the phone. They need to find a better system for scheduling. It shouldn't be so hard to schedule an annual, routine mammogram. Set up an internet scheduling app or change your phone system. You're setting up barriers! read more

Oregon Imaging customer service is poor, at best. I have received, multiple text messages to call thier scheduler for an MRI appointment, then when you call, you are transferred to a call center who then refers you to the MRI scheduler who is to busy to take your call! This has occurred on three different occasions and I have yet to schedule my MRI appointment! But had to use Oregon Imaging as it is related to an injury which occurred in Afghanistan. They were was not my choice for an MRI. Use Slocum, they are much more efficient and have better customer service. read more

(Hilyard Location) I would give them less if I could. I'm claustrophobic and I don't hide that from anyone. I wasn't told that I would have to wear a face mask when the appointment was made, or I wouldn't have made it. It was made worse by my inability to see, I had to remove my glasses, since they fog up when I wear face masks. I kept making it clear to the very unsympathetic staff that I was starting to have a panic attack. I was then asked to go into a small room, even after mentioning for the 5th time my mental/emotional stare, to needlessly remove my shirt. I was finally told that I could use the restroom across the hall to change. When I came back to the waiting room, a woman was being helped where the changing rooms were, and she was asked if she was claustrophobic and needed help (something this same tech didn't ask me at all before going back there). I was then escorted by the phlebotomist to a double-armed seat, asked to sit, to which I did in the right side of the chair, and was asked which arm I wanted poked (clearly, I was sitting in the right side with my right arm moving towards her), and I said, exasperated, "I don't care." She got offended, I (for what surely was the 6th time in 10-15 minutes) explained my situation and how I was feeling, to which she bitchily said, "Well, don't take it out on me, because I won't do this if you don't lose your attitude," to which I said, "Fine," and I left. On my way home, still in the midst of my panic attack, I got a call from the assistant director of Oregon Imagining, who I think had good intentions to start but, like with the rest of his staff, lacked the basics when it comes to helping those in my situation. He attempted to mansplain why the masks are required, and attempted to get me to exercise empathy while not once expressing any of his own, not apologizing for his staffs' lack of empathy or poor handling on their end, nor made any offer or attempt to rectify the situation. I felt he was patronizing, especially after I stated I was still freaking out. I eventually was so fed up and upset that I told him to kill himself and that I didn't give a f**k, before hanging up on him. I honestly feel his call was just done as a means to bill me directly instead of my insurance, despite nothing more than me signing a form and wearing a smock was done. I completely own my end, otherwise, I would've edited and downplade my actions/statements. My issues come from medical "professionals" lacking basic skills required to do the job at hand. The person setting the appointment should've mentioned the face mask. The people I talked to about my condition should've tried being more empathetic and at the very least could've asked, "What can we do to help?" But I didn't get anything remotely close to that. And there was no logistical reason for the director to call, since it was clear that he didn't care how I felt, because he continued to patronize someone having a mental breakdown. At this point, I'd rather die of a stroke than ever go back, which might be my fate. read more

I've had great care for my breast cancer up to the day I came to Oregon Imaging. It's not personal against any single person, it's just systemic issues. This was my first (and hopefully last) MRI, and I hadn't done my due diligence to learn more about this incredibly invasive and still controversial procedure. I'm not easily scared and I felt that my multiple biopsies were a big nothing. But the contrast dye I.V. that was used was a complete shock. It shouldn't have been; there are multiple lawsuits pending against the use of these agents in the dye and the FDA has made some statements of concern as well. I think I was very lucky in retrospect. Once I felt the dye entering my bloodstream in my arm, my lungs seized up and I couldn't breathe. I was terrified and sounded the alarm that they prepared me with (for you know, whatever kind of emergency normally happens during and MRI). My lungs have never seized up in my life. This was my first. Not while sky diving, not while scuba diving, not during the many life scares I've gone through. It was absolutely terrifying and I really thought I was going to die. I was treated empathetically and quickly by the technicians, and I was told that my vital signs were fine. A doctor came by and told me it was just panic. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I'm not prone to panic, so now I'm thinking it was just the inner wisdom of my body rejecting another dangerous toxin designed by big pharma to perpetuate business. I'd trust a panic attack over a doctor any day! read more

When I went there, the two receptionists were very friendly. The Tech explained to me that the Primary Care Provider ordered the wrong test, so she was attempting to reach the PCP to get the orders for the correct test. She was finally able to do so but half my test was going to have to be done another time. The place was immaculate and the waiting room was comfortable. The interior waiting room was also immaculate and comfortable. They even provided a beverage while you wait. The technicians was extremely compassionate. The second half of my test couldn't be scheduled for several days, but when I got to the car, I got a phone call offering me an appointment for the next day because of a cancellation. The next day I returned and everyone was just as nice, polite, friendly, and professional. I was even given the results of my tests immediately so I wouldn't spend the weekend worrying.
