I contacted the nursery for guidance and assistance but did not receive a response for more than two weeks. When they finally replied, I was told they do not guarantee their plants. No effort was made to inspect the tree, discuss possible solutions, or offer any accommodation. Instead, the response focused on suggesting that the issue was the result of something I had done. I understand that plants can be unpredictable and that not every issue is covered by a guarantee. However, I was disappointed by both the lack of responsiveness and the unwillingness to work with me toward a resolution. As a result, I will not be doing business with this nursery again. Based on my experience, customers should not expect much support once the sale has been completed.

Not once did an employee offer to help. One employee was not busy and actually walked in a circle around me then went over to help someone else thirty feet away. I then saw the same employee helping another person that just came in well after we did. Not a single employee greeted us. We were looking for specific items and had questions but were ignored. Although the inventory is quite good, we wound up going to another nursery in town and spent a few hundred dollars on shrubs and got amazing customer service. Looks like we won't be going back to Shooting Star Nursery ever again. First impressions are always lasting ones.

This shop is run by scam artists. I bought a $700 regenerative blower from this shop, and it did…read morenot work. I brought it in to return within the 30 day return period. They told me to give in another try when the weather got better, and not to worry because I could return it any time. I carefully asked if it would be okay to return after I gave it another try and they said YES OF COURSE. It did NOT work when I tried it again, and when I brought it in with my receipt to return, they told me it was too late, I missed the 30 day return period. I told them that they specifically gave me permission to return it, and they refused to help me. Mind you this was a brand new air pump still in the box with the receipt. I asked several times to talk with the owner and I even set him a letter. I never received a single response. The people who run this operation are virtually untouchable, and I will never put up with their mafia like tactics ever again.

Having done business with Aaron (Grants Pass Power Equipment Repair) in the past I gave his shop a try on an off chance he might have something or an idea how to fix it. I should have gone to Aaron first stop!!! He looked a couple part numbers up and said hold on a second. Shortly after he returned with a new exhaust that was almost an identical match. As he thought about what he should charge he sold it to me for $20!! As I tried to explain I had no problem paying more because I knew what it had to be worth, he said no $20 was fine. I stopped trying to argue the amount and paid. Thanking him very much for always coming through when I needed a repair or like this a hard to find part and an AWESOME and beyond a great price!!!!!
