First things I noticed was the amount of equipment they have compared to where I normally go. I'm a Stihl guy really, but Husky stuff is still just as good and they have a full line of both, along with some others. They even had higher end stuff than what I can get here in town (could get it, but would have to order). Second thing that stuck out to me was the friendly staff. Everyone was knowledgeable about what they sold. Granted, not everyone is going to now everything there is about every single aspect of the stuff there. However, if I had a question that one person didn't know the answer to, someone else did and I got it quick. They sell clothes, but mostly it is the important stuff like equipment and parts. I decided to go in today and buy an FS240 and BG86, which they priced matched with the store in Medford who was having a sale. They handled the two year warranty, filled them with fuel and did a test run before I left the store. I know how to run the stuff and they knew it, but asked if I would like to go over the running and care of the equipment with them before leaving, which I declined. I plan to go back in there when finances allow and get the big boy Husky clearing saw they have at a later time. That is a lot of tool for the money and I know i would get quality service for the life of the machine. On a side note, if you are not from the area the driveway is easy to miss.

Unfortunately it was a hot dry summer so restrictions on cutting wood left my trees on the ground most of the summer. I took my Stihl chainsaw in to Crater Chain Saw to be repaired again and they said a week it'd be ready. It was the end of September already, I was super frustrated since I hadn't been able to cut and talked to the owners son if I couldn't please please get it in 2 days. I got a call two days later saying my chainsaw was repaired and I could pick it up. I was there asap, so very happy and extremely grateful that they put me in front of alot of professional loggers. Despite this, I was told after 18 days of silence that parts were "unavailable." Specifically, I was told a blade and carburetor for a Yard Machine could not be sourced. As these are some of the most common OEM parts in the industry, this claim is factually incorrect and suggests a failure to even attempt the repair. ​Furthermore, I was told that I had been contacted previously, which is false. When I asked for clarification on these points, the staff was dismissive and rude. ​Most concerning is the safety oversight: upon getting the mower back, the spark plug fell out of the cylinder head while I was mowing. It was clearly removed for inspection and never reinstalled or tightened. Returning equipment in an unsafe, vibrating condition is a massive liability. ​I am not seeking a refund as no money was exchanged, but I wanted to ensure this experience was documented in your records. I will be sharing these facts with the local community to ensure others are aware of these safety and communication lapses.
