Their first screen stopped working when my daughter woke up, first thing in the morning. The second time their screen stopped working, she was at the store and she had the phone in her pocket. Neither time did the screens break, they just stopped working. This place uses used parts, not new. I took the phone up to U Break, I Fix and the technician said that there was no damage to the phone. What they found was that the screen was fine, but Sam's used a tar to hold the screen in place instead of the correct type of glue and the tar interfered with the electrical connections. Unbelievable at what liars these people are. Notice how they blame the customer every time they get a bad review. They don't accept any responsibility for their mistakes. I called Schneider who told me that to replace the panel would cost about $150. So I told him thanks, but I would buy a new one then. He asked me some questions and said let's try to reboot it and reprogram it. IT WORKED! Not only did I not need a new microwave, but the technical support was free. Update review based on getting a 2nd opinion on a water damaged device…read more Last year after my iPad Pro was water damaged I took it to mobile device doctors and they looked at it and accessed it could not be fixed. A year later I figured it was worth a 2nd opinion from a 5-Star rated company before purchasing a new one. The 5-star company was no only able to repair the screen issue but ID'd that the previous service rep (Mobile Device Doctor in this case) put a service sticker with the wrong type of iPad (2nd gen vs 3rd gen which makes a big difference) and more importantly why I am leaving this review is some internal parts were not put back into the iPad (ie board covers). Whether this was intentional (integrity issue) or unintentional (sloppy work), want to make sure the public is aware. I've give the company an opportunity to rectify the issue by issuing a full refund for the service and deem what they think is fair for leaving out internal parts.

I jumped in the car and headed to EPC. I called back to confirm it was in fact the Turbo and it was. When I got there Carl had it ready and said he was able to sell it to me for $115. It was clearly used but when I took it back to my store and plugged it in (had to use a parallel cable instead of USB) it worked like a champ. EPC's price was less than 1/2 of anything I saw on the internet and I was able to get it immediately. It had been a while since I had been here but will certainly return next time I need something.
