First time here a couple months ago and ughhhhh!!! It was sooooo good! I had the brisket nachos and lort help me! This was the greatest thing ever. I don't know what my friend had it was since double burger of some sort and she said it was bomb too. The fries were great! The staff was really friendly a well. So very very yummy!!!! I got the Texas bbq burger. It was wonderful. I got it Togo and it was still hot when I got to my hotel, 10mins away!! Also got the original fries and a cinnamon roll. Fries were also fantastic. Cinnamon roll is for breakfast, but it looks and smells so good. I'd would completely recommend it!!! read more

Love the food here but be weary of online ordering as they are pretty hit and miss at it. Ordered a few times for morning pick ups to surprise the wife and kiddos in bed and they hadn't even checked their online orders and I still had to wait 30+ minutes. It really doesnt look like much from the outside, like any other normal restaurant, but the food is amazing. The bagle and egg with cream cheese i got was fantastic. I would definitely come here again with my family. The inside is bright and colorful and the atmosphere is very welcoming and upbeat. I have been very reluctant to try this establishment because of how varied the menu is. Often when places try to do too much variety they end up failing at them all. A couple times I even made it as parking there before changing my mind and going someplace else. Today I threw caution to the wind, and actually went inside and placed an order. I ordered a burger. My expectations were exceeded. Was more like the kind of burger you'd expect from an old fashioned Texas burger joint than a place in a strip center. I got the ABC burger (avocado, bacon and cheese). So good. Nice bun to meat ratio. Excellent ooze from the burger. And avocado and bacon are just awesome. Very happy and have added them to my burger rotation list. read more

We usually love this place but when the manager is not here everything goes to hell. We waited for an extra 15 minutes as they totally forgot our order And it was even curbside. The veggie tacos were lackluster and were sloppily prepared and the hamburger was totally not what it used to be. I'm not sure if this place has been sold or what's happened but it has gone downhill fast. read more

The onions were nice and grilled..... THATS IT, everything else was a disappointment. I ordered curbside and , yes, I was 5mins after my assigned time but that doesn't mean my fries should be ice cold. The bacon chz burger not only had one single half-strip of bacon. It all the avocado was in once place they added tomato which I deleted. I heard they had great cookies but the Dzn I bought was all doughy and par baked. A complete $&@tshow. Horrible cold food. Paid over $6 for one taco that was cold and the meat was inedible. The steak was so chewy & tough that I had to spit it out. The corn tortilla and meat was cold and not even warmed up. Way too pricey and bad quality food. First and last time here. read more

San Antonio is absolutely a burger town. There are so many amazing burgers to choose from - the standard is set pretty high. Texas is also all about brisket - so that standard is also set pretty high. I ordered the BrisketBurger from Orderup and it was standard at best. The brisket was incredibly tough, and did not have any smoky flavor at all. I think they tried to mask some of the meat's toughness by slathering it in BBQ sauce, which tasted pretty gross. The pickles and fried onion strings did not help either. Fries could have been a bit crispier. The cookie had a lot to desire. While there was a ton of chocolate within the cookie, there was not a proper balance of ingredients, which resulted in the cookie being too sweet. read more

Great service. Hamburger was made to order not fixed ahead. They do a chipotle mayo that was good but I would have preferred mayo.

This is my new favorite spot for happy hour. I've stopped in twice in the past few weeks because it's that good. Happy hour runs every day from 4-7, and ALL drinks are half off. That means that big ass Dos-A-Ritas are like, $4.50 and beer is around $1.75. You cannot beat these prices, especially for the Quarry area. I've only tried a few of the food items, like their tacos, nachos, fries, and cookies. (Okay, apparently a good sampling.) Tacos were okay, but I prefer Torchy's. Nacho chips tasted homemade. The fries are bomb, and I'm still waiting to try the Nutella fries, because those sound amazing. And the cookie was the most buttery, fluffy cookie I've ever had. It was suuuper rich, so I recommend sharing. So although the food gets a 3.5 star rating, happy hour is completely worth stopping in for. read more

Clean and thoughtful. I would definitely eat here again. Manageable menu has breakfast tacos ($1.85) and fresh fruit smoothies ($5). Tortillas are made locally. The half and half creamer is fresh and organic. Small coffee is $1.95, free refills on the coffee, with interesting coffee options (one comes with cayenne and honey). The breakfast tacos were delicious. They have two salsas: green (spicy) and red (mild). Both are fresh and very good. They serve alcohol (beer/wine), burgers, fries, and shakes. Most of the tables have a hole to hold your fries upright, nice touch. They make fresh cookies and cinnamon rolls, too. Hardwood tables and painted metal chairs make for a nice decor. Plenty of seating, to include outdoors. Restrooms are single-use, which is great for privacy, but could be a problem during a busy lunch hour. I can't give five stars because there is no wait staff and tables are self-bussing. However, this is a top-tier counter-service restaurant. You would undoubtedly be paying more if they had a wait staff. read more

Disappointed. Yet again, another restaurant that has been brought down from its hierarchy since Covid sprung up. There's always way too long of a wait for the amount of space inside. (How many people can actually fit in there?) The cookies are good when you catch them right after they've been cooked; otherwise, they're just a little overrated. After several disappointing visits here I had not been back in a while. I was in the area this morning and was enticed by the email promisingly free cinnamon roll with equal purchase. I showed Cesilia the email on my phone and ordered two tacos. The bill was 8 and change. I questioned the amount and par for the course she had charged me for the roll. No one had a clue how to fix it. So I paid infull. Two tiny tacos with overcooked eggs and burnt chorizo and a hard cinnamon roll. It took about 15 minutes since it was to go and they plated it for dine in. The entire time I was there an order of fries was sitting in the window...bet that Customer was not happy with a cold breakfast. I do understand staffing is a challenge today . I own a business, but the early shift, 8 am I just as important as dinner. (that crew is usually on top of things) read more

We were visiting San Antonio this weekend and decided to stop here for lunch on our way out. Hands down the BEST food I've had in a bit! My burger was delicious, I'd maybe even say the best burger I've ever had. Fries were cooked perfectly. We had to wait a bit longer for our food and we're given complimentary chocolate chip cookies which id also say , may have been the best cookies I've ever had. The best restaurant in the city if you don't eat gluten. Burgers, pizza, tacos, and even cookies! I almost always get a burger here: it's juicy, full of flavor, and they properly toast the Udi's (gluten free) bun, which is essential in preventing it from falling apart. The chipotle mayo is fabulous as well, as are the fries. Truly a gem as a person who usually faces limited options and fears getting sick when going out to eat. Also a gem to my boyfriend, who can eat gluten but still regards Order Up as one of his favorite burgers. The San Antonio Bean Burger is his true addiction in this life. TL;DR -- I really really love Order Up and can't recommend it enough. Get a cookie when you go. read more

It could be because I was starving or it could just be that this place absolutely SLAMS. I got the fish tacos with cotija and they were amazing. My fiancé got a cheeseburger and honestly it was one of the best bites of a burger I've ever had. I think what I love most about this place is that they serve the holy trinity of foods: pizza, burgers and tacos. Wash it all down with a cold beer and you've got yourself one heck of a meal. Relaxed spot. The workers were super nice. Lots of seating inside and outside. I went for lunch and it was pretty busy, but I was able to grab a spot to sit while I waited for my order. I really liked that they had a few vegetarian options on their menu. I tried their veggie tostada taco and caesar fries. I did get it to-go, so I think that made my veggie tostada taco get a little mushy. It was still really good. I like all the things they packed into it. The fries were definitely amazing! I think the fries would have been good plain, but the added cheese definitely took them to another level.
