The employees were kind towards me, however, the man who performed my pedicure did not understand me or did he speak English. I had to wait until the lady who did my manicure was available which was a hit and miss. The man would point at the mani and pedi booklet to indicate that I needed to choose quickly. I couldn't choose quickly because they had a lot of options and I wasn't given any time as I was rushed. The lady rushed me to choose the mani that I was interested in. I ended up choosing up the cheapest option. I told both individuals that I wasn't interested in hot stones for medical reasons. Both the man and the lady begged me to get hot stones and even said that hot stones was very good and relaxing. I get that, but for medical reasons I am not going to the hospital over hot stones and pay a hefty medical bill because of them. I told them my reasons and yet was still begged to get them for an additional cost. I chose my nail polish that I wanted and the lady who served me immediately told me no that I couldn't choose that. She asked me to choose another color. I chose another color then the color that I chose wasn't something that they had used before and I asked if I was sure that I liked the color. I told her that I was sure since she was adamant that I couldn't choose the color that I initially wanted. She asked me again if I was sure. I told her yes, then she opened the color, applied it to my toenail and fingernails. After, she applied it, she asked for a third time if I was sure as she cannot reverse the process of applying. I told her yes. That crap was very annoying her asking me several times if I was sure and not allowing me, the paying customer to choose the initial color, but yet having to settle for a secondary color. Another thing that pissed me off was that I brought a picture in for her to match. This lady gave me a hard time it was like pulling teeth to get her to match the picture that I wanted. She told me that she would charge me $100 additional on top of the color for the special look which was utterly ridiculous. She would charge me for all 10 fingers. For a basic color, acrylic nails, this basic job cost me $139. I felt like it was a rip off. Next time, I am not going to a nail salon, but will be buying the glue on nails from HEB. The nails that I got at this salon didn't even last 2 months like how they last at Bella Nails that I used to go to in Pearland, TX before I moved to the area. They did an okay job, but the glue on nails would have looked better. Additionally, I did not care for hearing children play and scream while I was trying to have a relaxing time at this salon. They had their children out on the floor yelling and talking loudly. I cannot enjoy my time getting my nails done being around children that just ruins the mood for me. I won't be back and recommending them to anyone.
