We were looking for something to take back to hotel for lunch later so we stopped in here. They seem to have and use a lot of local produce but other items are main stream brands. The prepared salads we got were great, I got golden beet salad and a blue cheese kale salad and a cashew dip. I can say friendly is not a strong point here but no one was rude. read more

I loved strolling around the village of Eastsound on a trip to Orcas Island that Steve and I made a while ago. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked this Co-op was! Over the years we have been to plenty of Co-ops and some are surprisingly disappointing while others are not. Luckily we felt our experience here went in a positive way as we thought that the store was well stocked, had good variety of items and was in a convenient location. We especially liked that they had kombucha on tap which looked very good as well as a nice section of sweets. I always like looking out for gourmet chocolate bars and this place did not disappoint. The staff here were extremely friendly and like many places in the village of Eastsound has a quaint, small town feel where it feels like you are right at home. read more

After getting off the ferry, I wanted something filling and healthy yet light enough to not make me weighed down so I could have energy for our day trip full of hiking etc. I decided to give the co-op a try and I was so happy I did. I got the first bowl of salmon chowder and it was probably the best thing I have had all year! The flavor was fantastic, it was full of this and that and I was full all day yet still light on my feet. The coffee was fantastic as well. My daughter got some hawaiian tea drink from the cooler which was sweetened with monk fruit that she loved and i loved because the no sugar part :) Everyone was super friendly, in the minding their own business way, which is very much appreciate. I was super impressed with the selection and the prices are really fair! Cant wait to come in again! Thanks guys! read more

We expected to find some local items like wine, jam, seasonings, marinades and alike, but was disappointed. Most everything they carry are big name brands. They do have a good selection of organic produce. Prices are of course, "island" prices as expected. read more

We won't be coming back to this place again!! Went to Orcas Island for our honeymoon and went to this store to stock up on food right after arriving. The store itself is cute, but the particular clerk at the checkout stand was full of 'ATTITUDE'!! Very smug, pompous, snotty....etc, etc. Very unfriendly and unhelpful, when I asked if they did cash back she quipped "Yes, we sure don't!!" WTF?? I won't go into other details, but the general vibe we got was one of prejudice and belittling, perhaps because we didn't live on the island? Or perhaps because I am of Asian decent? And the real irony (if the former) was discovering that she was not native to the island either (overheard a conversation where she told another customer that she was from Seattle). If you want to get treated like crap with horrible customer service, then this is the place!! If not....avoid, Avoid, AVOID this place and take your business elsewhere!!! read more

Best co-op ever! Delicious local produce and food bar. I had a restricted diet and was able to find gluten free, vegan, and low sugar options easily. Great deals and prices too. Amazing selection of kombucha. Often lower prices than other grocery story in town. Would be a member if I lived on the islands. read more

We popped in for a pre-dinner snack and ended up with a few citrus fruits and some kombucha. This store is pretty small and doesn't seem to have too much in the way of local stuff. It was a lot of big brands you'd recognize. Service was not friendly or expedient which was a bummer. read more

This place is such a sweet spot! It's a beautiful shop filled to the brim with delicious and healthy foods. I came in absolutely starving after a grueling hike at Mt. Constitution. I got one of their sandwiches in the back at their deli, The Olga, and it was absolutely incredible. So flavorful and so unique. It brought back memories of some of the New England specialty shops that create amazing sandwich menus with kooky combinations you'd never think of. I miss that, I'll tell ya, but it felt like coming home here at the Orcas Co-op. It's a huge plus that their staff is so friendly and welcoming. I'm already planning my trip back up to the islands! read more

For a little co-op, they've done things right at this store. It's nicely done, and for a small grocery, they've made nice selections.

What a cool little store! This place has all the essentials plus a little more. It is the perfect place to go for all those hard-to-find niche products (vegan ice cream anyone?) and high quality, local goods. The deli is fantastic with a great selection of fresh meals and hot coffee/tea. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into product selection; you can find pretty much everything you need, which is great for those with dietary restrictions or food allergies. Of course, you are going to pay above average for most things here, but your money goes to supporting the local coop community and business, so I say it's definitely worth it. read more

Really great market with lots of variety. Deli selections were great - we had a rice-based soup, a sandwich, a salad, and a gluten-free brownie that was INCREDIBLE. It was super busy and super crowded, so service was a bit slow. We stood at the counter at the deli for at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged by any employees - even a "someone will be right with you" would've been appreciated, but it was very very busy, so we understood. We enjoyed the upstairs seating space overlooking the courtyard. read more

Great food, lot of stuff from the island. Had an excellent turkey sandwich. Very nice dining room upstairs.

Ate at the deli which was wonderful. Had a sandwich, nice side salad, and amazing carrot curry soup. Great place to stop for quick lunch.
