Recently we brought out Toyota Prius Gen 3 to get the cat shield installed due to active catalytic converter thefts in OC (8 stolen that week), and Johnny was very nice to schedule me in and answer any questions I had. They got the job done fairly quick and in a timely manner, and was nice that they knew what they were doing and no trial and error on my car when installing a shield like this. They were professional, nice and quality work you can tell and KNOW what they were doing etc. I am usually anal with any installation so I found Johnny thru a youtube video of them doing it on another Prius. Absolute RIP OFF!!! The owner said he'd install some parts for me for $290. After the job was completed the man at the counter rang me up for $880. The counter worker barely spoke English, so I thought he had just made a mistake. The owner walked over and said that he had to do some additional work for the system to fit... that's fine, but why not ask me before doing it!? The owner would not lower my vehicle off the lift until I paid. I'm never going back here and have filed several complaints and tips to HSI & BBB. Go anywhere but here, I warned you. read more

Poor materials and terrible customer service. The welds on my muffler and exhaust tips look awful. I'm pretty sure I have a few leaks from the subpar welds. I tried to get my money back, but was cursed out by a worker or the owner (not sure). read more

I purchased a system through these guys 2 months ago, they did the work pretty quickly, but the guy charged me more than what we had originally agreed on. I don't think it's fair to undermine customers like that. On top of that, the system I purchased through them is already rusting and there are 4 exhaust leaks where the welds are poor (according to the new exhaust shop I go to). Do not go to these guys for hitches, they dont know what they are doing! And they are not like the original plaza muffler gang! I accidently ran across these guys sorry i did! Wow never again! I found the original guys off Pixley in Orange see Carl much better to work with, he was the original guy i dealt with before they moved. They have to refo what Orange Plaza Mufflers, they may be great at mufflers but thats about it! They are not hitch guys no hitches! read more

The mechanic installed my catalytic converter upside down. This created many issues when trying to get an affordable smog check. Now, I have to find a place with a hoist (they charge $30 more), so they can visually see the number and not take someone's word on the repair receipt. read more

Went to a few places before coming here. I needed a brand new catback exhaust fitted onto my jeep. Since my jeep is lifted, the suspension shifted and it wasn't a simple bolt on that I could do myself. Other places were going to charge me "a few hundred" to fix it, or tried to sell me into them installing a brand new custom system. I remembered I went to Orange Plaza Muffler a while back and they did some minor work on a previous car I owned. I drove right up and asked about the fix. They quickly had me pull my jeep onto the rack and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. They only charged my $40 and the fitment is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend these guys and I will be coming back for sure if and when I have exhaust work needed. read more

I wanted to kill two birds with one stone while visiting Orange County and found Orange Plaza Muffler via Yelp. I was an hour away coming in from the Valley. I needed a simple bung that was supplied by a brand new AEM wideband gauge welded in to my header or x-pipe so that the supplied 02 sensor could be hooked up to make the gauge fully functional. Keep in mind that the gauge was already installed with all wiring done and already zip tied to the transmission and ready to go. I called beforehand to see if this could be done and if so what was the ETA. I spoke to Luis and he said $25 to do the job and that the would be 1 hour. Mid conversation he rudely interrupts and says, "I'm busy working on a car so..." As if it's my fault for him picking up the phone and trying to give him business lol. I already had a bad feeling after experiencing that business tactic, but proceeded to drive there since my choices were limited since I wanted to keep it in the Orange area. I rolled up about 30 minutes later and spoke to Luis. It seemed as if he just didn't want to do the work. He first said that my car couldn't get on the rack, but i corrected him and said that my car is on airbags and actually lifts higher than stock if needed. He then said that the $25 only covered the welding of the bung hole and although all of my wiring is already in place that he wouldn't hook up the 02 for me. I would have gladly agreed to the release of liability if he had clarified that he would just connect it to the bung, but did not want to take any responsibility for anything outside of welding the bung. I was desperate so I was fine with hooking it up myself later if needed, but then he said "well like I said the wait is an hour" (after the drive already killed 30 mins). At that point I just went with my gut feeling and went to another muffler shop. The next shop charged me less and hooked up the 02 sensor no problem since all of my wiring was all pre-run. read more

He put it up on the lift to check it out and said everything looked ok and it was the best it was gonna be. He got me under the car and showed me what he was looking at and gave me a very honest opinion. Really nice guy with nice prices. I damaged the exhaust on my 4.0 Jeep Cherokee off roading and he was able to put a new muffler on and attach my existing cat for a hundred ten bucks. The muffler he used is a universal called "AP Enforcer 2" and so far I like the sound of it read more

I had to go to these guys a few times to get several things done on my car. Every time I came they immediately got to work on my car and had it done way before they said they would have it completed. Friendly atmosphere but really not much to look at and nowhere to sit so you have to go somewhere and nothing is really around in walking distance. I have been coming here to get my exhaust work done since they opened their shop, the owner is very honest, fair pricing and will never up sell you anything! I just recently took a hot rod in for full exhaust system and after not being there for over a year he remembered me immediately! He put my car up on the lift right away went over it with me and told me it would be ready the next day by noon! At 10am I received a call (not common nowadays) that it was done and the work turned out phenomenal! Definitely the best exhaust shop around! read more

This guy over chargers worked for 10 minutes charged me $40 for a simple exhaust work.

I had a bad muffler and gave Luis a call about a replacement muffler , Luis said to bring the truck in and would have done within a few hours my dad had drop off the truck and picked it up later that day. All said and done I had a new quite muffler on my truck and hit the road to big bear lake . During my trip my truck became quite loud so I stopped for a look . To my surprise I found a little muffler most likely a stock replacement for a Honda Civic not suitable for Ford F-350 . I tried to takes to Luis, but after a few minutes I was told that I got a "good deal for a quality muffler".and had no interest on my concern nor did he want to look at it.
