It was my first time coming here as i am new to the area. 2 Girls and blonde and brunette about 18-20. Came with a buddy and we kept hearing them complain in front of other customers as well in the back area. I am beyond annoyed and pissed off with how they did not want to perform with their only responsibility in front of customers (to blend a smoothie). My family absolutely loves this place! They have so many flavors of frozen yogurt and tons of toppings to choose from! The flavors are always changing and we haven't been disappointed yet by the ones we have picked! Our favorites so far are vanilla frosting and pineapple! (tastes just like Pineapple Whip from Disney World) We also love all the different options of toppings including candy pieces, fresh fruit, sundae toppings, cookie, and brownie pieces! Right now, due to Covid, each topping is individually packaged in small plastic cups with lids and you get 5 of them with your purchase! They are back to letting you get your own froyo but you must wear the food service gloves provided. It is priced by the cup and not by weight like other places so fill your cup to the brim! The employees have been so nice and helpful each time we have visited and always offer to help in any way they can! They even made us free strawberry shake samples which were amazing! Hands down the best fro-yo in Bloomington! Bright colors adorn the entire location, with seating available so you can sit and relax and enjoy your yogurt. Employees are waiting to get you any samples you want to try. They have two different sizes of cups available (I suggest getting the larger of the two so you can have seconds!). Many different flavors available that change often. Must try the butter pecan and the peanut butter - to die for! They have a topping bar with lots of different toppings available, from nuts, to gummy bears, and all of the sauces you can think of! Just choose your bowl size and go peanuts! They have a good array of toppings. I tried a few flavors (omg the pineapple) and decided I was in a fruit and vanilla mood. I piled on blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, those amazing little fruit beads that pop in your mouth, and even fresh papaya! Everything was incredibly fresh and in season. I've only been here once but I'd go back. Everything is sold by weight so it gets expensive very quickly. This is one of those diy yogurt place and the cups are huge so you have to be careful or you'll drop $8 to $10 on a cup. I had a cup with a divider in it and had three flavors: White Chocolate Raspberry, Pineapple, Orange and they were all great. I really don't see a huge difference between Cherry Berry and Orange Leaf. However, my friend enjoys going here so that's where we go. At least the parking situation is a better than at Cherry Berry in Normal. The one thing Orange Leaf does different is having an employee stationed at the bowls to assist with samples and answering questions. They have recently switched to prepriced bowls so now it's a game of how much can I stuff in it.The yogurt is good but I'd like to see more variety. Good selection of toppings. Sometimes the employees seem a little aloof. I said hi to the girl working at the register as I walked in and she just stared at me. Seating is limited. Most of the time we end up eating in the car. Got to try some different flavors this way - pumpkin, peanut butter and white chocolate mint. Liked it all except the peanut butter - didn't test quite right. My son and I decided to stop by Orange Leaf after dinner in the area. The last time I was there was so many years ago and at that time, you paid by the weight (which could get rather expensive). I was surprised to see that had changed when we recently came in. I liked that you could sample the different flavors. I decided on the Brownie Batter and my son got the Pineapple. The toppings bar had individually wrapped items that you choose up to 4. There were other toppings that you could add via spoon too. I added dark chocolate chips and cherries to mine, while my son added mango boba and cherries to his. The mango juice in the boba was amazing and popped in your mouth. The cherries were fresh and plump. What used to cost me $20-$30 now only cost me a little over $10. That was my biggest takeaway from this visit. read more

I have attended this location a few times in the past. It is always very clean and the staff are welcoming as well. The main issue I have with this particular location is the lack of variety when it comes to frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. I am someone who enjoys a fruiter bowl as opposed to the super sweet or chocolate options but more often than not, there is only one choice that fills that flavor profile. I know many children (and even adults) like the super sweet flavors, but when there are more than 10 options available, I feel like there should be more than one that can appeal to the people that want to choose a fruity option. We've been fans of Orange Leaf for a long time; we'd drive from out of town to go as it was our daughter's favorite place. The recent switch to fixed price cups has ruined it for us. We spent nearly the same as we used to, but only got half as much frozen yogurt. You need the large cups to do the dividers, which are almost $7 each. The small cups are not large enough to hold toppings and ice cream, and therefore not worth the price. I feel that what used to make Orange Leaf unique, the ability to combine toppings with your own choice of yogurt is now too expensive for a family. We won't be back unless we have a really good coupon or they change back to the old way. I mean, yeah, our kids could really rack up the ounces with a couple gummy frogs, but we were able to balance it out with the fact that us adults are a little more choosy with the toppings. While I was a Chill Out! loyalist, Orange Leaf is a good replacement. They offer the best selection of flavors and their flavors are spot on. Honestly, if you get the banana fro-yo, it is going to taste like a banana. They must have a good extract company or something. Also, the product isn't gritty like Cocomero is and is still sweet. I was partial to the tart flavors at Chill Out! Orange Leaf does a good job at creating flavors to be a great dessert. One more note, I appreciate the number of fundraisers Orange Leaf does in Blo-No. Honestly, it is great to see a chainish place connect with locals in a charitable way. I love this place. Getting quality fro yo in this town is difficult to do, yet Orangleaf doesn't sit on their laurels as top dog. The place is always clean, even during the summer rushes. It is always staffed well, so there a no long wait times. The pricing is fair, especially since the went away from the scales. Folks on Yelp who complain about the pricing have most likely never been out of Blo/No, so they have no idea what they are talking about. We go to Orangeleaf a minimum of once week, and have for the last 18 months. This a great low fat treat. read more

I have been to Orange Leaf a couple times and every time I have been there it has gotten better. I'm going to be honest it is essentially soft serve ice cream but it does taste amazing! I always get vanilla, cookies and cream, and their wedding cake. After applying some toppings it couldn't be better! What really impressed me was the staff. When I was there with my friend a few minutes after closing time and we were about to leave as to not hold them up, the manager told us that we didn't have to leave. So we stayed and so did some other people until about 30 minutes after they closed. They were very kind about it and told us to stay as late as we want! I felt like the prices really went up recently with the whole change to the fixed price cups. As regards to the flavors and the toppings, they're pretty diverse and tasty. Not much other choices in B-N but this gets the job done. The decor inside is pretty cozy but it can get very crowded and loud and the seating is a bit awkward. read more

This place is quite ridiculous. They were out of beginner cups so was told to fill yogurt up to the black line they drew on the cup to get the beginner price. Filled it up to the black line, a tiny bit over since it's hard to control exactly how much yogurt come out and they charged me for next size up. Not my fault you don't have the right size cups so guests have to try to get it right under the line you drew on the cups. read more
