A cute little bakery in downtown Bloomington with a couple small tables inside. The name is not displayed outside the shop, so you have to know its there, but it is worth finding. Heard a local rave about the "toast and jam cookie" and lemon cake, so had a try. The toast and jam cookie is indeed very good. Nice flavour, quite sweet. Also tried the butterscotch miso cookie, and a walnut chocolate cookie. Both were also very good. The walnut cookie was crunchy whereas the other two were soft, and we preferred the latter, but all three tasted great. We also tried a slice of carrot cake since they didn't have the lemon bar when we visited. The cake was ok, but we both agreed that we'd had better carrot cake elsewhere. This one suffered from being a little dry. The icing was good, but very sweet. I would try a different cake next time, and would definitely get a cookie again. The biggest drawback, for us, was the price. Cookies were about $6 each and the slice of cake about $9. read more
