I came into Orange County Monster Carts with a long list of picky questions and a many genuinely unusual requests, and Chan and his team handled every one without pushback. Every follow-up favor I threw at them got the same response "yes!". They go so far out of their way for the customer. Never seen anything like it in all my years. What stood out most was the complete lack of pressure. Chan clearly knows these carts better than the other dealers I visited, but he never used that to steer me toward a bigger sale. The only thing he seemed interested in was me ending up with the right cart, not closing a deal. I've been in sales for 15 years, and watching Chan work was a good reminder to always put the customer first. He also got me an excellent deal, and I shopped around. At one point he actually sent me to a competing dealer to make sure I didn't want an EZ-GO, which he doesn't sell, lol. Chan is as authentic as they come, and it felt good to support a family business. If you're shopping for a cart, start here. I'm sure glad I did. read more

I recently bought a used golf cart and reached out to Chan for service. He had a guy at my house quickly, and all of my issues were fixed. He also helped me figure out how I could register it and was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. My wife reached out to the owner Chan back in Dec of 2023, a good EIGHT MONTHS before our arrival to newport beach for our 11 day vacation. We were clear in exactly where we were staying and submitted his online form numerous times in which he confirmed were recieved and that we were reserved. My wife and I both had conversations and texts with him to confirm all. About 2-3 weeks before our trip I called the office and Chan was out of town on vacation. The person who answered the phone said he would ask Chan about our reservation and get back to me. I called him every 2-3 days to check in and it was the same story that he needed to ask Chan and would get back to me. Finally a few days before our arrival, I called back again and got ahold of Chan. He said that the OC fair was going on and he needed to move some things around to get us our cart (that was promised 8 months ago). Once we got settled in our house in Newport Beach, I called Chan again and he told me that he had nothing to rent me because some people who were currently renting asked to extend their rental and he granted it. I told him that we have had this confirmation for 8 months and after getting flustered, he said "what are you going to do? Sue me? you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go down to the OC Fair and grab a fu€*!N cart out of their hands and deliver it to you tomorrow morning!" I told him, sweet go get it, we had the booking first. Well the cart never came, Chan double booked us and we were cartless for our time in Newport Beach. I can show the text conversation for anyone who would like to see the proof. Read the reviews on this guy, he has a strong sales pitch up front but it seems that when challenging times arise he is quick to ghost a customer or tell them to kick rocks. read more

I recently needed to change out my battery system for my Moke and decided on Orange County Monster Carts Inc (OCMC) to do the work. In an industry filled with questionable service providers, OCMC stands out for great service and great prices. I dealt primarily with Chan who was highly responsive to all of my questions. OCMC picked up my Moke at my house, transported it to their Orange County repair shop, changed out my lead/acid batteries with the lighter and more efficient lithium batteries (along with the needed lithium battery components) and returned my Moke later in that same afternoon. Their prices were very reasonable. For anyone who currently own golf cars or Mokes etc, I would encourage you to check out OCMC. I have been very satisfied with their performance, service and overall value proposition. read more

Stumbled upon this company today, because our golf cart had a flat tire. I can't say enough good things about the service and how efficient Chan and his team have been. Wow! Is all I have to say. Not just efficient, but also beyond reasonable. I will be a customer for life. Please use this company for all your golf cart needs. They won't disappoint. It's rare finding a company like OC now a days. Thank you guys, amazing customer service all around! read more

We rented a cart over the holiday season to help some elderly relatives we had in town get around our neighborhood. It turned out we were double booked and the cart we requested (6 seater) was not available, however the owner went above and beyond in resolving the issue, finding a new cart for us and getting it dropped off and picked up seamlessly. I often think companies should be judged based on how they handle challenges vs. when everything is going smoothly and OC Monster Carts were able to adapt and meet their commitments ensuring a very happy family of customers! We will be back for sure! read more

My wife bought a Tomberlin cart here a couple months ago. And she is loving driving it couple times a week. This is the high end price and quality. Totally worth it. Worry free street legal. It climbs the steepest hills without hesitation. Retains battery power. The bazooka music speaker add on is so much fun. Buy here with confidence. Owner Chan is knowledgeable and patient to answer all questions. And his maintenance staff is even more friendly and helpful. It can be daunting to find a true street legal LSV cart. This is the best place in OC. read more

OC Monster Carts is The Best! Not only did Chan keep our cart until my husband could come to see for himself (there was nothing wrong with it) Chan took the time to show my husband everything about our EZGO cart we bought used. He even helped load it up on the trailer and tied it down. All the while it was the weekend before the 4th of July (busiest holiday weekend). We cannot recommend them enough. If you want to rent a golf cart for Halloween, Christmas or next 4th of July we would suggest ordering now. They are that busy. read more

I bought a used cart from a private party and the batteries lasted only 5 months. Called Monster carts and they were out the next day with new batteries. Installed at a very reasonable price. Since then I have had to repair a charger. Fixed and returned, minimal fee. Been in a couple of other times looking to upgrade my cart and always welcome. Great people to work with from the owner down to the mechanics..... Just be prepared to be over whelmed with information, they know their carts. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Made a reservation for mobile service at 3pm. Called the store at 5pm asking why the mechanic still hasn't arrived. The guy answering the phone is very unprofessional and is honestly a big douchebag. I rescheduled my appointment to the next day at 10am but once again, Tony, the guy who was supposed to come fix our cart, never arrived. Very unprofessional and I hope whoever answers the phone fixes his god damn "Karen" attitude. Very rude and very unprofessional. read more

Orange County Monster Carts has been awesome from my initial call. Chan responded within a few minutes of my call. They delivered the cart earlier than expected. My experience with OC Monster Carts was fantastic! I called and spoke with Chan after my golf cart would no longer start. He walked me through a few possible scenarios as to why it may not start, and once we ruled that those weren't the issues. he took my information down to send out his technician. Tony called me the next day and was able to come out very soon after. When he arrived I took him in the back to show him the golf cart and explain to him what my i thought my issue was. He did a quick diagnostic and found the problem and was able to fix it and help me remove the gold course speed restriction as well. What I appreciate, as a female who looks and sounds younger than I am, was the level of professionalism and kindness shown to me. Tony talked to me and explained what was going on in a way that I can understand but didn't make me feel like he was talking down to me. He was also so nice to my dogs that were all up in his business! I felt the price was very fair and I absolutely will call OC Monster Carts for anything I need in the future. read more

Excellent service. Chan Hunt was honest and straight forward. I was looking for a new cart, and we talked about the problems I had with my old cart. He was confident he could fix my 20 year old cart, when others wouldn't touch it. I accepted the challenge. The cart was fixed and for the last two weeks, it has worked better than the last two years I have owned it. His service tech was great, did a few extra touches, beyond the physical repair necessary. Cleaned the batteries, tightened "a few loose screws", and left me feeling great. Old time service with a smile still existed. I'll be back. read more

What a great experience from start to finish! Chan is awesome he really made us feel welcome. We bought a cart after going to many places Chan walked us through every aspect and we learned a great deal in our first 30 minute meeting with him. We bought our cart and had it in a week. It is really an awesome cart looks like I bought a brand new cart from the manufacturer. I have already recommended this company to a few people and will continue. Chan was upfront about pricing and that never deviated from day 1. Can't say enough about this company. See our cart in the photo attached. read more

1) Wrong information - After repeated questioning and attempts to contact, Chan totally disappointed us. We ordered a golf cart to shuttle in-laws back and forth to their rental. The golf cart arrived - no license plate - "WHAT I ASKED?" Chan assured me we didn't need it".WRONG". The golf cart was expounded. What's worse, Chan tried to blame it on us saying it was empounded cause it was place on a red zone. NOPE - It wasn't . We did get a ticket for the cart in a red zone which it was NOT. THree police cars and it was GONE. They dont tow for parked in a red zone. Anyway, the golf cart is gone and so is our money. Worst customer experience ever !.
