Cart came out great. The owner took $600 from me and never followed through on making my cart street legal. He just ghosted me.

I went to The Cart Guy with my parents looking for a cart for them to use to get around at their retirement village. My Dad loves to drive but can't renew his driving license anymore so this gives both of them a chance to get around easier. Mark and all the staff I talked to were so helpful and patient with both me and my parents. They were able to sell us a used cart but found a way to add hinged doors and an onboard charger to make things easier for my parents. When we had a charging issue they came right out and even took my parents each out for a test drive. They were terrific! read more

Nice folks, fair price but sometimes the carts are in disrepair. I do not recommend for a fancy event (wedding etc).

Called to check on pricing and availability for an extended roof. None in stock but was offered to have one ordered with putting a card on the order. Provided card info, was told would have it in within a couple days, never heard anything back. Called back after a week and was not able to speak with anyone, maybe I called at a bad time. Thankfully no charge on the card, but since we do need the extended roof will have to try back again to give another shot. read more

Horrible customer service. 8 am appointment; heard nothing so at 8:30 I called. Got voice mail. Tried 3 more times and still voice mail. At 9 I got an answer. Lady said she was so sorry because she forgot to tell the maintenance guy. WOW. She said he would be to me in 30 minutes. 1 hour later no call and no guy. 2 hours with nothing to show for it. Missed my doctors appointment waiting.........earlier this year they came by to check my cart. Needed a new selector switch. Said he would get it ordered and let me know when it came in. Never heard a thing. SOme of you have had good luck. Roll the dice if you are a risk taker and see what happens. read more

We rent golf carts at The Cart Guy when we are in the area to host singles retreats. We've used them twice now when we host our annual retreats at Thousand Pines Christian Camp. I went to the Cart Guy to purchase a refurbished golf cart. My first contact was with Mark, the owner. Mark was a very reasonable and personable person. Pleasant to deal with and appeared to be very knowledgeable and honest. We were able to work together to come up with a fair package price on a cart. Once I took delivery of the refurbished cart that came with a 1 year warrenty, I thought all was good. However, there were some operating issues with the cart. I called and talked to Mark and he arranged to have the cart picked up at my home the next day. 2 days later, the cart was returned to my home. However, within a day and a half, another serious problem reared its ugly head and required a towing service to get the cart to my home. Tony, came to my home and made the necessary repairs which included fixing a battery post connection and replacing a motor break. Within an hour, we were running and it has remained that way. Mark worked with me to cover the cost of towing the cart to my home. The Cart Guy is a class act, honest, professional and has the technical staff (Tony) to take care of their customers. I drive by his place all the time and see his boneyard which got me to stop in because I was looking to get some parts for a golf cart project I'm about to undertake. Unfortunately the boneyard is not for picking but the owner Mark took a lot of time out of his late afternoon to talk to me about my project. Could not recommend this company enough with the customer service they showed us! We had rented a cart from them for a wedding to help bring elderly family members down a hill. We moved into Lake Arrowhead almost 2 year ago, and the house we bought came with a 31 year old Ezz-Go. I'm disabled, so I use the Golf cart to get up and down the property. From the time we moved in, we started searching for someone who would come to our house to service the cart. Man did we find some one special. Mark came to our house and really did a fantastic job on our cart. He was also a wealth of idea's for how to make this cart work for us until we decide on a replacement. He also will help when it comes to getting another cart. He will has refurbished and new carts. When we do get another cart, he will take away the old one. My golf cart broke in March and this company fixed it. In August it broke down and went back to their shop. They fixed for free saying something was loose they should have seen while going over it in March. They could have said it was anything just to make some money. I feel their integrity should be honored. If you need to buy, rent or have a golf car repaired, please give honest people your business. I have been taken for a ride on this golf cart several times. This business is amazing. When I called I got Mark Sr who was covering because they were slammed. Got my appointment in two days. When the tech got to my house he diagnosed the problem in about three minutes as a short in one of the battery cables. He replaced 3 worn cables, battery tapped 2 terminals, and was done and gone in less than a half hour. The cost to me was far less than I expected but their service blew me away. Recommend you stay away from The Cart Guy's competition in Beaumont and go with The Cart guy !! read more

The service was over the top. Not very difficult to rent. Just call, tell them what you need and they deliver which makes it even easier for those that don't have a trailer. There is a fee for it. Depends on the distant I believe. They delivered and picked up on time for me which made it easier for me. Would definitely would be using them again. read more
