Thank you Chino and Amy for going above and beyond to get us our epic golf cart. We found their business through Joseph who likes to advertise on Fb marketplace. We went to different golf cart places, got quotes but we are so in love with how we can customize to a really cool look that we won't regret, nothing monotonous. Just lovely and amazing. We truly appreciate the golf cart rental while awaiting ours to be customized. There were some rough patches with the rims and steering wheel etc but this company is on top of things! Great communication, great quality work, they made sure of customer satisfaction (even went back to Murrieta at least 3x) to help us with little stuff, everything else was pretty straight forward. We are everyday enjoying our golf cart . We got it street legal so we can zip around town. We love going around with it when camping especially. :) This company is much appreciated and recommended. We rented a golf cart for our week in Newport and it was the highlight of our time. Extremely helpful staff before, during and after. They dropped off the cart right at our AirBnb. Charge was excellent, we just plugged in overnight. The cart had lights to make night riding fun, and made it so easy for a quick trip to Pavillions. We will definitely use again! read more

Chino at Laguna Golf Carts build me a custom cart that I use to ride around my community and it's everything I expected. They can do pretty much anything you want. I even had them make it longer so there is more leg room in the back seats. Battery is great, never had an issue. I live in a neighborhood with steep hills and the cart has no problem climbing them. Chino is great, and always available if you need anything. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a custom cart. read more

Let's start with the positives. The golf cart that I purchased is great, well built and delivered exactly to the specs that I purchased. In addition, Chino (the owner) came back several times after delivery to fix a few things that weren't working on the cart. Now the negative. When purchasing the cart, I asked 2 different people how much it would be to register the golf cart with the DMV. Each time I was told around $600-700 in total. They let me know that they don't personally do the registrations and send it to another company to handle the task of getting it registered. I clarified that the fee that I was paying $671 included not only the DMV fee but also any additional fees that may incur. I was told that I may get a bill for an additional fee but it should be around $80. Well today, I get a charge for $1,461 to register the cart in addition to the $671 that I've already paid taking the registration fee to $2132. I responded to the fee essentially saying that it was absurd and they responded essentially saying that I was in the wrong for having a problem with the fee and that no one ever complains and how I'm the only complainer when merely I'm questioning how they could be so far off on the fees charged when they do this every day. In their response to me, they noted that I'm now paying the tax on the golf cart since they initially sold it to me with no tax which is kind of a bait and switch the way I see it. They supposedly gave me a better price (cash price) which included no tax only to have me pay it to the DMV upon registering the cart. So they pocket the cash and don't pay taxes and I'm stuck paying taxes on something I was told I didn't need to pay. Being in the relational (customer service business), it's important to own up to the mistakes you make. In this case, I'm being told I'm the one in the wrong instead of just saying they didn't do their job correctly. With all of that said, I wouldn't do business with them again even though the cart is exactly what I ordered. These companies are a dime a dozen and it's important to work with someone who appreciates you as a customer, does what they say and not one trying to pass the blame when they make a mistake. read more

My cart overheated on a recent hot day. A little unusual for an electric golf cart, but the Solenoid burnt out, leaving me stranded. An "emergency" call (who can be without their golf cart?) to Laguna Golf Carts, and the truck was there to rescue me. The cart had to go back to the shop. Chino dropped me and my gear off at the golf course, and before I was done my round, the cart was back at my garage. I strongly recommend Laguna Golf Cart, not only for service, but for purchases as well. I bought my cart there 2 years ago, and have never been disappointed in the very few calls I've made. A great place to get honest information and feedback on your wish list. I truly believe you will never be disappointed, not only based on my experience, but also on feedback from other customers I run into with experience in dealing with Chino. Bert read more

We have a 2003 golf cart that we use to go down to the beach. The motor was so small, it kept breaking down. Chino installed a new and larger engine and lithium battery. It was far less expensive than buying new or used refurbished. It runs perfectly and is strong going uphill. Chino even detailed the cart before bringing it back to our home. They are great and I highly recommend them. You will not be sorry! read more

We appreciate Amy & Chino and the Laguna Golf Carts team! We held a fundraiser for a fallen officer and they worked with us to auction one of their carts at our event, they even detailed it and brought it to our location. The golf cart was beautiful with many upgrades, and they were great to work with. Because of their generosity and charitable donation, we were able to raise a significant amount to help out a beautiful family in need while they heal from their loss, and the family who won the golf cart is beyond stoked. Was looking for a good quality used golf cart for a months and had a very specific $ budget. One of my last drop ins to showrooms was Laguna Golf Carts. I engaged with Chino and Cielo and I must say that if you ever looking at a new or used golf cart in the Orange Country area this is the team for you!!! Their flexibility to support the features or type of cart config on the used golf cart that we purchased was fantastic and the after sales service was great. We shopped around a number of golf cart places in the area and decided to give the business to this small business operation. I was having difficulties with my golf cart intermittently "bucking" after I drove it for a while. I called Laguna Golf Carts and their customer service is outstanding. I spoke with Amy and she scheduled to have Mariano pick up my golf cart on Friday. I received the diagnosis that I needed to replace my batteries on Monday morning. I spoke with Chino regarding the advantages of going with a lithium battery and decided that was the way I wanted to go. Their quote for the new battery and installation was incredibly competitive. I gave the ok and they not only did they install the battery, but they also detailed my golf cart. When they delivered the golf cart on Tuesday, I had a golf cart that drove and looked like a gem. This is my second time using Laguna Golf Carts and I highly recommend them. read more

If you have any intention of registering your golf cart, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE. They will swear to you up and down that it will be street legal and ready to be registered but it's NOT TRUE. The way they build their carts cannot be registered because they don't provide a VIN # that the DMV will accept. They claimed the DMV would accept the registration but we learned the hard way that they don't and I'm sure they knew this all along. I know multiple customers who were told the same thing and they failed to register too. They kept our deposit even though they were the ones who didn't deliver what we agreed to in the first place. I will be referring friends elsewhere and so should you. read more

Bought our golf cart last October 2020. Brand new, But later found out the engine was a 2017. Originally promised the cart in September; however, didn't get it until November. But I understand because of Covid. Originally priced the cart through Joe, who gave me the invoice and we agreed on the price and I have my deposit. Upon delivery, I was charged an extra 1000. So after waiting 3 months for the cart which was finally being delivered, Chino the owner told me he couldn't accept that price and would take the cart back. Sure, I wanted the cart for my wife and kids so I was forced to pay an extra 1000, but that's terrible unethical business tactics. To top that off, Chino had to return back to install speakers that I paid for that they forgot to put on. Now the new speakers sound terrible. I have called him, but I keep getting the runaround. The cart looks amazing , minus some paint that puddled during their spray. Too much drama from this company. I would go to another dealer for a cart if I had to do it again. read more
