CUSTOMER BEWARE! I give Junior's Golf Carts the lowest possible rating. I will not speak ill or badmouth anyone at this company. Just simply provide the facts. You make your own decision. Been renting from this company for 3-4 years. As soon as we were done and they picked up the golf cart in January 2023, after our Christmastime rental that is enjoyed by multiple families and children, we called to reserve again for Dec 2023. 1/5/23 - "Dear Customer : Please review the estimate below. Email completed/signed rental agreement to finalize your reservation. We look forward to working with you. Sincerely, JUNIOR'S GOLF CARTS, INC." (Bottom of Estimate Reads: "Estimate Good for 15 Days") 1/12/23 - I signed and returned the rental agreement for a rental from 11/29/23-1/2/23. 1/12/23 - Email from Junior's reads "Thank you for sending this over. Our office will contact you as the reservation date comes closer for final details." 7/24/23 - I was notified by a friend (also a customer) that there were problems with our agreement and that Juniors did not plan honor that agreement. I sent back email from 1/12/23 with previous rental agreement. 7/25 - A second estimate was sent to me with new dates, 11/29/23-12/29/23, not what I originally requested. Email reads "Hi Samuel, Thank you for a copy of the agreement. Management has decided to honor our previous estimate to you. We will send over a new estimate with the revised date and cost to reflect the same totals as January. We sincerely apologize for the mix up and will work towards correcting the issue for future reservations." (To clarify, they changed the dates on our agreement, but kept the cost the same.) That afternoon, I called to speak with the manager and discuss why my agreement was changed. After some discussion and ultimately disagreement, manager became increasingly unprofessional as I continued to question their business decision of not honoring the original agreement. At this point he told me "You can do this my way or nothing at all." Obviously I hit my point of being disrespected and questioned if this was really how he chooses to do business and he told me that he was busy and hung up on me. These are nothing more than the facts. You all may choose if this is who you wish to do business with. We have been a customer of Juniors Golf Carts for many years. We recently purchased a new golf cart from Juniors that had been sitting in their showroom for 2 years. I was concerned that the batteries may have degraded over that time, but they assured me that would not be an issue. Juniors delivered and set up the cart. They were called back to adjust the parking brake because it did not hold. Two months later, the cart battery only lasts 10 minutes. This cart sits in a bin on the charger all the time and is used for 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Juniors came out, investigated, and told me the batteries were dead and needed to be replaced. I now need new batteries and they will not cover it because they state the batteries were low on water. $1,400 for batteries on a cart that is less than a year old is unacceptable and not standing behind your product is even worse. Our service and next purchase will be at another business. read more

We have used this company for several years to maintain our organization's golf cart. We're a small non-profit and we use our little cart a few times a month. Anyway, we have an event this weekend and I called to see how much to rent 1 or 2 carts. A 2-seater is quoted at $65 per day, but when I told them it is for Saturday, the rate jumps to $250 for the weekend. Its ok, i guess they don't need the business. Picking up on Friday afternoon and returning on Monday morning should be 2 full days which would be $130. Unfortunately, Junior's doesn't work on the weekend so we have to pay the equivalent of 4 days when we only need it for one. It doesn't add up to me, other than they don't need the business. I took my Yamaha G16 to the shop to look into getting turn signals installed. I also needed to get my old steering wheel off that was completely stuck and would not come off. I was given a FULL explanation on what to expect and costs involved. I found the gentleman that helped me (either owner or manager) to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and HONEST. Everything I was advised on by him was COMPLETELY in line with the research I had done. Honesty and competency are the 2 attributes I look at when choosing a repair facility. I am extremely disappointed with this company's business perceptions. I called with an attempt to get pricing and availability on parts for a unit I was working on. They said I would get a call back from the man in charge of parts but never received a call so I reached out again and the response I received was not what I expected. The gentleman stated that he didn't want to go through all the effort in getting me pricing because the end result would be my company not purchasing the parts from his company. Mind you I had identified the parts and provided part numbers which is more than half the work already done. I asked if basically he didn't want to do business with me and the end result was that he didn't. I get that a company reserves the right to refuse service to any one but I honestly don't know what made him refuse service to me. Advice: Stay competitive. Stay proactive. Take a minute and give out a quote you never know, the company you quote out might be a ticket winner. You loose some and you win some. If you ever need to rent a golf cart, I highly recommend Junior's! Every year, my husband takes his mother on the Floral Gardens walking tour in Santa Ana, but she's 87 now and we felt that there was more walking than she could handle. In their brochure, the people at the tour recommended Junior's for golf carts, so I called them. The man at Junior's had no idea what I was talking about ... apparently, no one from the tour had let Junior's know that they were being recommended! My first thought was, "This is going to be a nightmare - these people have no idea what's going on." I couldn't have been more wrong! The man explained the procedure for them dropping off and picking up rental golf carts and the cost. I told him that I'm handicapped, so it was important to me to be able to take care of all of the rental details on-line and that I needed to be assured that the cart would be waiting for my husband and his mother on the day of the event. He couldn't have made things any easier for me. He e-mailed me the rental application and after I returned it, I was able to call him with my Visa #. The day before the event, they confirmed that the cart would be there and it was. My husband called them about half an hour before the event was over to come and pick up the cart. But after realizing I needed to get it up and running again, I turned to Yelp to help me find a reliable company to service it. I found Junior's on Yelp and called them. I spoke to a very courteous and friendly young lady on the phone who explained to me service costs, etc. Then I spoke to a service rep who told me in honest terms what I should expect in replacing the batteries, maybe the cables, etc., and the approximate cost. Today, a service representative from Junior's, whose name is Diego, came to service the golf cart. He was also had a great demeanor, was friendly and knowledgeable, and explained what I would need. He replaced the batteries and didn't try to sell me things I really didn't need (which I truly appreciate). He made sure everything was fine and explained its maintenance, and told me the cart was in really pretty excellent condition, which made me feel good (for my husband's sake!). I am very pleased to write this rating for Junior's, especially for Diego, as they were quick, reliable, friendly, and I felt they were honest too, so that others looking for a good company will feel safe in using them. I was in the market for a used 4-Passenger cart and I'm so glad I was referred to Junior's Golf Carts. The experience I had was outstanding. I went in looking for a golf cart I could drive around my neighborhood, and they had many options to choose from. I was able to build the cart the way I wanted it. I had gone to other golf cart shops before coming here and the sales people were so pushy, they wanted to up sell me all these accessories I didn't need. This shop isn't like that, they listen to what I wanted and advised me on my options. The one thing I can't speak more highly of is how honest this company is. You really get your money worth from them. The staff is so helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable too. I highly recommend this company if you are in the market for a golf cart.
